wow $38 lol nice. I suppose when they are $50 new and you barely use them... I would pay it Also cos they are so damn hard to get a hold of! I have just gone through my nappies and I have heaps to sell so that will be fun. Going to end up spending the next 2 days taking photos of nappies and clothes... sigh...

    wow.

DH just had to deal with a poop-from-hell and Pip's here farting like a trooper next to me - DH's just looked at me and told me that I get the next one! I told him I stayed at home with Pip's bum for 9 months, and he's crying foul on one bum? *laughs*

Can't wait to try the CGR nappy, might put it on him after his nap for a little while.
Waiting for my CFA auction wins to come, a CFA soaker and the overalls Got an email from the CFA overalls lady and she's wrapt with the amount she made Just want to make sure it's registered post

what are the start up costs?
    how much are they ?
how many would i need? start to finish?
what things do i need to factor in is there more questions i should be asking help i am so lost in this... o.k i used cloth with DD and it was NOT the fancy cloth fitted nappy types that are available today so i need serious help. can ya get them second hand or is that a NOO NOO???

Squid - You certainly can get them second hand hun, buyforbaby with the usual following it. avoid ebay unless you know exactly what it is that you are looking for, there are lots of dodgy ones on there. Get lots of brands to work out what suits your bub, and when you find what you like you can then start to get that brand in new.

Kat - Country Fire Authority - Victorian bushfires.

I think I might need more side snappers, but Em will probably figure them out too quick. But she didn't take off the CTBDs

WOEB: Black Basix CT old style.

i am not one with ALL the knowledge.. others here have been at the MCN much longer than me...i have only been using them on DS for nearly 5 months now (it is VERY addictive!!!) we have around 40 nappies (AIO'S &^ fitted/cover combos) for 1 bub in cloth FULL time... i wash nearly every day or sometimes every 2nd day.

True All In Ones (AIO) tend to take longer to dry, but are very easy to use. All in twos (AI2) are generally more popular because there is minimal work to be done to prepare them (like snapping in boosters) but they still have most of the benefits of AIOs.

Pockets are good if you have the patience to get the boosters to lay flat and avoid having any gaps on the edges.

Fitteds generally need a cover unless you live in a hot environment or have a light wetter.

Prefolds used with a cover are excellent for the newborn days and make great boosters down the track.

I generally use AI2s and some pockets and fitteds, but I have prefolds in my newborn stash

Squidipa - if you like, on one of our meet ups (that I keep missing for various reasons, but will be able to get to one soon!!!) I can bring along some of my stash so you know what we are talking about.

I have a pretty good idea of prices too - dunno why!!!! hehehehe

So then you can try some of my stash on Josiah and see what you like - if you want of course!!

(Might have to be somewhere other than the coffee place you go to though - when are you next going to Leash's or alternatively, I can come to yours?)
