thank god I turned the computer off last night!! I so dont need any more nappies.

find it quiet interesting that IF have now done bling.wonder if she'll get wrapped across the knuckles for it like BB did

Gigi - I have the same problem with Vy...she's size 1 in many things still and I find it hard to get clothingto fit her correctly..its harder to cause she doesnt wear nappies through the day anymore and pants just fall of her. were as Mateauz is a lump and in some size 2's already

Kitten babe...you might want to take the link out of your post to hon...BB guidelines state no links for things like this . Very nioce but

Can someone give me some energizer batteries..im flat as today afte Mateauz waking up at 3am for an hour and deciding that his bum would look good sitting on his mama's face! I dont think I could cope with a NB born again...ahh maz needs her 4 hours of sleep anight

anyone got any bamboo fleece they want to load off Ive run out

Gigi - Thank-you. Silly though, I never thought to e-mail the WAHM's and stores to ask for photos. I feel exactly the same as you do though re: not having the money to buy the nappy only to find it wasn't absorbent enough or had the right closure etc.

I like to know where the absorbent layers are and how many as it helps me to know drying time and just how absorbent they are KWIM. I'm thinking I want MCN's that have minimal layers in the body but lots of layers in removable boosters for faster drying time.

Oh and I'm sorry I forgot to take note of who kindly offered for me to see her stash but I live in North Qld so that's quite a drive hehe

Anna, that's exactly why the side snapping nappies are so good! You can adjust the waist and leg snaps independently to suit you baby's build. That is why, unfortunately, nappies with a single row of snaps don't suit us. My children's legs are too chubby so either the legs are too tight or the waist is too loose.
I have found a way for front single row snappers to fit big legs and little waists (Well Saram's DH did and she showed me). Most of them have 2 snaps on each wing. the outer of those 2 snaps is the leg ajustment, and the inner is the belly adjustment. all you need to do is set the outer of the 2 snaps to the leg, then MISS A SNAP and put the inner of the 2 snaps on a smaller waist size. Certainly gets rid of the open belly issue that we have on Em.

ETA: Cheeky Monkey - I am in Townsville. I have a few aussie made WAHM nappies Are you around Townsville?

? about strip washing - do you re-wash like normal afte the strip wash or once the suds are gone are you right to just dry it as per normal? Had to strip wash Jetts Iishfly cause he threw it in my mop bucket with a minute amount of bleach in it yesterday WAH. No colour problems just leaked right through when he wore it.

Alioops, thanks for that tip. I have some nappies that I bought before I knew what would suit my baby and I can keep on using them with greater peace of mind now.

QM - Damn no Aldi's anywhere near me I want an overlocker. Anyone want to get one for me considering postage will still be cheaper than buying one up here? Then I can get started on my little project

Maz - I dont have any Bamboo Fleece YET but I am looking into buying some and a snap press and some PUL. If they work well I might try and break into the incontinence market as well as the AF market.

    Maz - how'd u do that?

Well I'm very impressed - we were driving for 3.5 hours and one BBB with BB PUL cover lasted all that time No leaks!

Those Maz nights are looking hot ... evil maz. I have no use for night nappies!

Oooh, must ring my g/f and see how the nappies I lent her are going.

WoHB - zappy + BB PUL cover
