Mel - I have told daycare to feel the booster if the inner of the nappy feels dry, or even pop a cotton wool ball in there.

Anna - Yay for fluffy mail!!! Thanks for the offer! I am trying to get out of my order - I only just put it in and paid for it so I've emailed and asked if I can cancel and be refunded so hoping it will be, but if not, I will definately take you up on that, Ta. (Reason being - I finally found a supplier who has baby beehind bamboos in stock right now, so have ordered a six pack of them, as they have the press studs I'd prefer them and want to see if with the booster will work as night nappy at least for now.)

we don't use a bucket - i have recycled my nappywrapper. It's bucket like and has a lid so just use it without a cartridge in - works great and getting even more use out of it.

More fluffy mail here - yesterday 2 x cts - 1 camo courture and 1 pale pink, today; strawberry fields IB, Minkytimes gk and some extra gk & IB boosters - cool! I'm so into this - just wish i'd done it with my other two!

    Have a great weekend x

Jess - DS got welts around his legs from the BBH PUL covers, and I never put them on that tight either. Haven't tried their wool ones, as the burn marks on his legs really freaked me out. I haven't had that happen with any other nappy or cover, so perhaps it's just the cut of the BBH covers?? Tho I know your DD is a sensitive little one...

Think I'll go looking in the rubbish bin section of the shops next time I'm out. Swing-top lids I can manage, even with a velcro bebe stuck to me! And our laundry is poky, so something space-saving is ideal.

We have the amberbebe mother and baby set of necklaces too. Cherry. They's luvly.

sas - the snappi thing put me off the mandy macs too. DS can pull them off and inflict a great amount of pain with them! Even with a cover. Wild Child, Sandman, Bubblebubs GNST and GF NNs are all snap-fastening and we use them all here, since the BBB is a day time nappy and stopped holding up overnight (even super-boosted) after DS was a few months old.

    Hello ladies,

No fluffy mail for me today, but I did win a CT second off ebay so I am happy about that. Another pink camo one! So now I will have 2 so that I can keep her in the same outfit. I missed out on a CT bumble bee but I'm not to unhappy about that.

Thanks for the setting me straight on velour Kitt3n!

NaNa we use painters buckets from Bunnings here too but I like the idea of a swing top bin...will have to investigate!

Willow- could you please PM me the link for the amber neckalces too? I have one for DD but would like one for me.

    Afternoon ladies (or evening!)

I have a pedal-bin from bunnings for my nappies, it is silver with a removable bucket inside, keeps 2 days of nappies in it

WoHB - due to continuing horrid nappy rash, a sposie.

Goodness me, I don't come in here for one day and I have to go back and read five pages!!! Have been very busy organising Jack's birthday party/Naming Day on Sunday and have the inlaws here for a few days. I swear if FIL says "what on earth are you dressing him in?" one more time I might just kill him in his sleep!!! He's not a fan of babylegs obviously! So of course I make sure Jack wears them more often..hahahahahaha.

Fluffy mail! Fluffy mail! Fluffy mail! Got a fantastic parcel of second hand from a lovely BB'er today. Some great NN's and some day nappies as well.
I think I have 5 NN's all up now..so no need to stress about the winter weather anymore!

Anyway..better get to bed, have to take Mitchell to footy at 8:30 in the morning and have another huge day of running around and picking up stuff for party.

WOJB...Mandy Mac purple nights with WAHM fleece cover.
