i want more itti sewn ins ! NOW !!!

im thnking of putting DS back in nappies ~!! he TT for over 1 yr now and now for the last 2-3 wks alwyas poos on the floor !!! grrrrrr it all started with constipation and encorporesis and now its just sloppy poos all over the house .... hes upset when he does it , like it cant be controlled but it really does irratate me .... grrrrrr .... the dr didnt help much either ...... no one will help me with this issue and its driving me nuts !!!!!!!!!!


ETA - just bought the AIO in he clearance section with 3 bamboo boosters !! hope hubby doesnt see the CC statement

not much happening here. on a buying ban (yeah right) for a while. loving looking though, and trying to work out whether to get a custom AIO or just a cover for DD's first Christmas

I need to buy a swim nappy, what ones are good?

and

what can I use in the meantime until it arrives?
I was thinking of just using a itti shell with the hourglass booster or even no booster at all. Its really onluy to catch the poo if she poops in the pool isnt it?
she's already pooped twice today and was thinking of going this afternoon so should be pretty safe I think.
What do you reckon?
I dont have any plain PUL covers to use, Itti would be my only option cause I aint using a SS or BB pocket
I only have Maz covers, which I aint using either.
I really dont want to go out an buy disposable ones when I could put it towards a swim nappy. KWIM?

MLM - I hve recently taken to putting laa in her pookey pockets fitteds without a cover on warmer days (they are so pretty!) i think her bum thanks me for it

rhyb - hun have you checked out Booroi? Honestly, with three little ones in cloth I reckon their nappy system would be the best way to go. So economical. That's what I would do anyway ! you can use their prefolds with a snappi or just pop the prefold into their awesome covers. simple and effective

and we got FLUFFY MAIl this morning! scored one of those peapod Beetlebums. Seriously they BEST fitting nappy on laa. Just brilliant. only have Inside-outs- dont dare try the others, will probably fall in love with them too *sigh*

Hello all!

I got a couple more nappies of GF - a fitted nappy knickers (too big for now but looks quite good for when DD is bigger) and a ladybird AIO but I do not like it, the snaps are to close together vertically on the front of the nappy so when you snap the wings to them the wing material gets a bit bunched together as their snaps are wider apart vertically (did that make any sense) Sigh. I knew I should have gone the trusty old Magicalls.

Lea - that sounds very frustrating - I am suprised the Dr's aren't being more helpful - it does sound strange - hope it clears up soon!

rhyb - I don't need a LS at the moment as my bathbub is in same room as loo so just use hose and wash into bucket and in loo - BUT we just bought a house! And the toilet is separate so I was looking at Ebay the other night and they had a (not little squirt) but white plastic type one exactly the same, only went for about $20, I missed it as forgot to check back on in an hour. It came up under the 'Nappy' listing - I am hoping they will have more come through - let's start a bidding war as I'd like one too but can't afford $90.

Quick question for you cloth gurus.... Have any of you used or heard of Baby Chilli nappies and are they any good? They look really pretty good, but just wanted to ask.

I'm currently using prefolds and covers, as well as small Itti Bitti's, which I find good, but am looking into what to get when she's ready for mediums, which wont be too far away I don't think!

I have some pale stains on my bumgenius's mainly - sort of black/grey marks. The sund doesn't seem to be having much affect on them - any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

I went a bit crazy yesterday an bought 6 minilalas. My sister is having her second in late October so that's my excuse and sticking to it!

MLM - Encopresis is where the hard poo is stuck or blocked and the fresher poo needs to come out but it cant , so it just leaks out around the blockage

I had a look at the baby chilli site - they look very much like a mini lala so I guess the concept of them is similar. If none of us have used them, perhaps just purchase one, and let everyone else know if they are good or not FWIW, I'm not the biggest fan of cotton outers because they always leak with my kids (who are heavy wetters). I have one Mini Lala that I don't particularly like to use because I know I don't get a heap of time out of it, but the colours are pretty

sas - those little squirt things on ebay going cheap, a friend bought one and says they're not worth a cracker so maybe beware

I'm also on a buying ban for a leeeetle while, need to sort out what works for us best yet before I got nuts.

washing question - when you pre-wash nappies, do you need to put them thru a full wash cycle each time? my front loader has a quick 15 min cycle and wondered if that would be ok for the pre-wash you do to get them to max absorbency? wont take me as long that's all and I can get the cute stuff on his bum sooner

Arimeh - I agree with you on the mini la las - not that I tend to leave nappies any longer then 2 hours, but you know, sometimes.... Anyhow the mini la las will only last 2 hours and after that, they tend to get damp on the outside - they don't leak, they're just a bit damp. But I can't help myself, they're just so damn cute!

Dollyroux so you got them all I resisted but they are very nice! After chatting to others at an NC meetup about the dampness thing it's probably got a bit to do with the cotton outer and they would work better up north in the warmer climate where evaporation would happen easier (though Arimeh has probably just blew that theory to bits ). I never really had an issue with it though because I prefer breathability and like fleece and wool for that reason over PUL iykwim.

lollybaby I only ever do one prewash! But I'm a little careful about how long to leave the new nappy on for a little while. As long as it's not on too long or for a nap then it should be fine

Yah, the 3 ams kill me, been spoiled with bubs who has slept through since 9 weeks or so (but never past 5am ) Every now and then he deviates from his system and really stuffs with mine, fortunatly he makes up for it by being a stellar day sleeper. This morning I just got up and fed him then started work (while it was peaceful) bit tired now tho...)

Nappy news, none really,am waiting for adam to get back with our tempermental NEW, EXPENSIVE pump, grrrrr, washing is backing up, have had shiat water pressure for days and the washing machine has been taking ages to fill. So he has taken it in today and hopefully they can fix it on the spot or give us a lender till it gets sorted.

WOLB, nada and he just peed everywhere, soon to be BBB, no cover.....

I was feeling all domestic the other day and bought some fleece to make some liners - hope they work ok lol

We're going to melb in a few weeks for MIL's 50th and we'll have to use sposies as I wont be able to wash its funny how fast you gain a dislike for them!

Did anyone win anything in the nappy hunt? Not me, I wasnt a very good hunter lol
