Why oh why oh why is it that almost as soon as I put a cloth nappy on DD she poos... even when she has done one during the nappy free time between changes... it is like she saves some for the nappy

Ok that is my vent over!

WOCB: air at the moment... she had 15mins of nappy free time did a poo and a wee at the beginning of that time then I put a spunky butts on her and just as I was about to put a MAL ice blue dot minky cover on... well another poo! Soon to be another spunky butts and the aforementioned MAL cover

I've got a zebra print GK. And I swear, every time I put it on Munchkin she poops. No matter when she did her last. She's never worn it without pooping in it. I still don't understand it.

Oh yes, the worst ones are always without a liner, DD did the worst poo this morning - somehow she plastered it in a thin layer across the entire nappy and underneath all the layers, oooohhhhhh, plus I got splash back from the force of the water when I was washing the nappy and it would appear morning sickness is starting to kick in and THAT sure as hell didn't help!

Rhyb - naughty girl - you've got me coveting magical multi-fits now and I reaalllly shouldn't buy anymore. Mind you - you've got a great reason to buy a GIANT stash, woo hoo. You're doin so well carrying all those bubs - are they expecting them at a certain time or just wait and see?

    Morning all

Dummie question again - does GK = Green Kids nappies? What have been people's experience with them? Cool prints, but need to know if absorbency is any good?

Mel, I'm beginning to understand this heavy wetting business it appears that DS could extinguish a small fire the way he pees.

We were in cloth all day again yesterday YAH! They're all flappin on the line as we speak.

GK = Green Kids. As for absorbency, they are pocket nappies, so the absorbency depends on what you chuck in there. I always chuck what my kids need in there, and they work fine. However - they are a very wide crotched nappy, so if your baby suits narrow crotched nappies - stay away.

Even with just the bamboo insert in there, I find it pretty awesome for absorbency. But yeah - so wide Munchkin walks like a cowboy. But she seems to love the zebra print and not be fussed by the wideness of it.

I got fluffymail yesterday - more BBH Multifits. I have this love for pocket nappies.

WOMB - Purple Dot GF NN with a stack of meerkats on the bum.

They are freaking awesome! DS has now figured out how to undo velcro so Im thinking more Multifits are in order

Thanks Mel & Kamarine, dang about the GKs being wide in the crotch though. Know any pocket nappies that are narrower? I'm thinking I need to be stuffing as much as I can into whatever DS wears.

Hmm adding more stuffing to the pockets will make it bigger no matter how big the crotch is. Having said that - swaddlebees are really narrow.

I'd look for some narrow crotched nappies that have lots of absorbent material if I were you. We do great with some of the aussie WAHM ones here - plus they can customise it for a particularly heavy wetter if need be.
