Happy birthday to Jack!
Mel - she'll get really tough and no one will get anywhere near her!
Charlottes mum - nice find for the clothes! I love it when I find clothes I put away, its like getting new ones but with out the credit card pain.
maz stocking!
BG - best of luck for your DH's interview this afternoon
Matching covers would be fantastic - makes me want to have another one just to do that (not like I need any more encouragement to have another one!)
Well, just off to try to get Fred to do her poops, it was a false alarm before... I've even put her in her poop chair and that didn't workShes on my lap on her tummy at the moment and she is straining, so I might get lucky...
WOGB - flat and cover... I know it will contain the poosplosion if we get one

Question...
For cloth overnight... how do you do it? I find that in flats & covers DD will often not last 2 hours and I am more than happy to change her as required but how do you go overnight when they tend to sleep longer (and you're not awake etc). I have one Maz NN (think it is small size... would have to double check) but is it too early to be using NN? or should I just be setting an alarm?
We usually go to bed at 11pm and DD is often already asleep or going to sleep at that time... regardless of whether she was already down or just going down for the night, she will average around 5 to 6 hours of sleep.
What would be your recommendations for going to cloth overnight?
WOCB: prefold & maz blue dot minky cover
T - I'd use something like a Baby Beehinds bamboo and either a fleece cover or wool cover - thats a cheap way to do it. Miss M was fine up to 6 months with that combination, then started outwetting that - then I added a booster to the outside of the nappy, a few nights later she was outwetting that - then I went for the serious night nappy.
Ryatha - thanks - she'll be a tough case like her mumma I'd say![]()
TK - DD pees heaps in the day, and nappies only last her about 3 hours MAX - no matter what ones they are - she sleeps minimum 7 - up to 10 hours at night (bliss!) - and i've woken to find her completely dry one more occassions than i can tell you. from what i have read, a lot of babies don't pee while they sleep - they pee while they stir or when they wake. E's first nappy in the morning is never very wet - the next nappy is a shocker! give her a go in a flat and cover - you might be pleasantly surprised! i still only put E in a flannel flat a lot of the time and she is fine after that big sleep - her next nappy is really really wet though
Indeed. been trying to wear my pants I wore while pregnant that old washing machine stretched (was a blessing in disguise as it was just prior to finding out i was utd and they served as maternity pants). Unfortunately I reckon I was about to be arrested for indecency due to the fact my (almost) pre pregnancy bum can no longer hold them up. I think this moving headache is actually a blessing in disguise......... well sort of.
Little bugger has picked up a tummy bug from touching everything then sticking her hands in her mouth from the teething (still). was swearing when I went to put a morning load of washing on and the one thing i asked dp to do yesterday was still sitting in the machine....... nappy load. So I have a miss pooalot on my hands and no cloth to contain it, NOT HAPPY.
How do i get panadol greyness out of nappy inserts btw? Noticed 2 have copped it from her thurs night scream-a-thon panadol dose.
WOCB: %^$#*&@ Sposie which I am going to have to change again shortly along with all her clothing the business is going to explode onto. Almost tempted to leave her naked on a towel then just bathing her this arvo but that'd be mean
Hi ladies,
Happy Birthday Jack!!! I'm in the same boat as u Kat! Will be at work
The mini lala site has baby huggalugs leg warmers for $9.90 and the funky legruffles for $10.77 if anyone is interested.
Thanks ezymay. i wanted some huggalugs for Charlie to put in the nappy bag in Melbourne for the JIC summer days
Nikki from GF has such wonderful customer service - she just sent my replacement nappy and even made a few changes (just at my preference no reason) for no charge. Beautiful nappies.
Yes, a Maz stocking, I am going to try and be on the ball with this one and nab me some fab large covers for DD!!
Who was the Boorai prefold expert??? Did you use the cotton ones or just the bamboo - the cotton ones are so cheap!! But am guessing they don't last very long??
sunlight or UV rays. I had 2 auriels with disgusting staining from panadol when we came back from QLD...week later and I cant even tell which one it was.
I have another stuffed aurielstupid dryer! Put it in for 30 min on low to get it fluffy and take the last of the cold out of it from being outside and the dryer decides it likes the snaps on the new 'cars' one...I can fix it but it shiats me that the dryer does it!! grrrrrrr
WOMB - snooze NN
WOVB - lime green GF

Thats ok its an excuse to finally get Maz coversI rarely use anything that needs covers for DS so I never really bothered with them before
i'd be lost without my MAL covers! they get used every night and a lot of time during the day - esp when little miss hasn't been for a couple of days - double back up over ittis just in case lol
WOEB - HH sherpa and Elf MAL cover - sleepy poppet didn't wee first nappy this morning (5am) but was drenched by next one (8.30) - see what i mean TK lol
Thought I'd stick my head in again, now that I'm a SAHM mum again and Emily is back to cloth full time
rhyb - bummer, I gave all my newborn/small girl covers to renee when she had bub. But I may still have some small stuff around, if you want me to have a look?

Aidens still only in cloth part time (sposies overnight and on daycare days) but it feels good to only use sposie a day and have a big clothy bottom here the rest of the time![]()
Rhyb - I'm just waiting to see if this one is a boy or a girl - if its a boy - my whole newborn pink stash is coming your way... LOL (cos really I have wayyy too many nappies as it is.. )
