Mel - if its thrush, am I right that general nappy creams can feed it? Maybe you should ask dr google, coz I'm sure I heard that somewhere?
So maybe just try the thrush cream on its own?

    Love my new fluff

If mine was boyish I would offer it to you cos I don't actually like the fit of the old style velcro ones!! LOL

But I suppose your wee man is a little too boyish to be called a princess....
    Hehe

Audax- cow factor? Is that a vegan thing?

Any one doing the nappy hunt. I registered but I just don't think I can be bothered. when I get back from holidays I will be so busy sewing I won't have time to think about nappies! Eek!

CW I still don't really understand it all. Plus, I do most of my internetting on my phone so I don't fancy spending all that time on my desktop trolling websites.

The have a website with rules etc.

You go through their list of sponsor sights & follow clues to find the icon & you can win prizes. Its a bit of fun on the side
If I had my pc working, net access (won't after this week) & time I'd do it.

WOSB - Envious its a purple patchwork nappy... so cute!

I am thinking I might just register to get the discounts. A lot of places have bargains to nab with the discount code the organisers email you. I'm trying to figure out what I want. Maybe some super cute bathers for the Pixie.

I did the nappy hunt one year, felt like I was completely neglecting my son, wasted sooooo much time and got nothing out of it. Vowed never to bother again.

In other news. I replaced the Velcro on my bum geniuses with wider, stronger Velcro and they're instantly so much better. I've wondered why cotton bottoms use such crap thin Velcro on their nappies. Why?

Cost cutting They are a business after all. Wonder why they use such crap elastic in their nappies too.....LOL

Re: nappy hunt. I did it one year... ummm... 2008 it would have been, the first year I started using cloth. Since then I've had 3 more babies and just don't have the time! Although, I really did enjoy doing it, and figuring out the clues was pretty cool

Maybe we should do it as a group - someone signs up, and posts the clues in here and we all have a go at solving them.. LOL

I use the lushies on DD3, she is just starting to outgrow the rise now - she's nearly 5 months. Had them on her since birth. Mine are velcro fastening instead though, I had a look on the website and she has pics of them with snaps, not velcro. I think mine have lasted pretty good, got them secondhand and they still work good

I probably wouldn't sell them for very much though, so the resale value isn't as good as it would be for say, a pretty nappy ITMS?

They need a cover, they are fitteds. I use my small maz covers over them, or a wool cover. I don't like PUL covers all that much unless its a motherease rikki cover, but don't use them very often.

You get disqualified if you're found to share hints or anything in the nappy hunt.

    Buttercup: what about the S.H.Ps?
Westley: sustainable hemp products? I don't think they exist.
