I had to go hunting for this thread. What do you stuff your pockets with?

I bought some 2nd-hand bumgs (thanks leckert) and they have nice fluffy inserts, made me realise my inserts have been through the dryer a few too many times. No wonder they leak. I've been killing myself trying to figure out why they don't hold as much as they did when new (they are 3 years old and have been worked heavily.)

I'm using disposables at night because my cloth naps just don't last all night, and I'm already awake too often at night I don't want to change nappies. Does a disposable-equivalent night nappy for a big wee machine (non-bamboo anything due to allergy) exist?

Popins with the night time inserts have been recommended to me for a wee machine

I'm confused about popins, do they have bamboo in them or not?

Depends which one you get. The Dreami Dri has microfibre, the original has bamboo

i have 2 of the dream dri's! they are awesome! the night boosters are bamboo so that combined with the two soakers of microfibre make an awesome night nappy for a heavy wetter! i can get 13 hours out of one before it leaks

Oh. So they work without the bamboo booster?

    Yups

    They have the outer case

2 seperate snap in inserts (they use press studs not a pocket) and then you can get an additional "dri nights" booster which goes around the 2 snap in inserts. Makes it really absorabant, it does end up on the large side but for night time it dosent really matter.

can you try a strip wash to bring back your inserts to a nice fluffiness? I actually end up visiting the local laundry mat if I want to fluff up my inserts (mind you most of those are bamboo)

    Hi girls

I'm tentatively dipping my toes in. Had a nice long MCN education session with the gorgeous Epacris yesterday! I bought some Cushie Tushies at the markets on the weekend for $15 each and have had some 2nd hand MCNs given to me. I showed DP and he said he hoped we would buy her some new ones too - so I immediately popped online and spent over $200 on a few specials (BBHs and Cheeky Butts)!

Looking forward to giving it all a go in the New Year!

What are everyone's favorite pockets? I've decided I love Beetlebums! Have a couple of sugarshots and a flattery coming too. My bank account has been getting a workout!

Preferred pockets are greenkids; although I'm not that keen on them except after DS's swimming lesson when he can out-wee nearly anything and I've no idea where all the liquid comes from unless he's drunk half the pool

I have tried strip washing, buy the problem is how much fluff had been lost in the dryer over the years. They just have no fluff left.

Bumgeniuses are my favourite pocket. But I'm keen to try newer designs.

Just got some Rumparooz Lil Joeys in the mail and I'm so pleased to have found some that look like they'll be good on a tiny bottom! Anyone used them? My DD was 2.5 kgs at birth (5 lb 10 oz) and I think this bub will also be small. I was looking at how small the sposies were (that still had to be folded down ) and wondering how long it would be before this bub wouldn't get lost in the other MCNs I have! These are supposed to do 4-12 lbs.

    Feedback?
