Huge feet here too! DD grew out of 000 wondersuits at 1 weeks old because her feet took up half the leg. I wear a size 10 shoe, so that's why.
I have a trifold oversupply. Need to get some empty pockets to put them in. Or make some el-dodge-os.

I have a bigfoot here too - hoping it translates to him inheriting my height...his dad is kinda vertically challenged :D
Good to know most stuff is ok, I'm having a bit of trouble with his onesies, but his shorts are ok - mostly Mothercare brand.
you can get attachments for onesies that make them longer, if you google Little Extensions Bodysuit Extenders it should come up. I second bonds roomies for pants as well
I have come to the conclusion I need to buy more pegs. Was hanging out the nappies this morning, had plenty of space on the line left but ran out of pegs...I blame the tuttos, 4 pegs per nappy.
i got my "saving the world obe bum at a time" nappy this morning ssooo soft but i got navy and you can hardly see the writing so im going to have to get a lighter one
WOL&JB - medium velcro tab bubblebubs

This is my Dragonfly Magik stash shot :) i love these nappies the pink dragon is our new custom :) CLICK HERE
Jealous of that stash! Love the pink dragon, and the one to the right of it.
Tee hee, I have a green one of that dragon as DS's swim nappy :)
But tis a very pretty stash indeed. Where do you get the pretty customs from?
oooo!! I hope mine aren't too far away if you have gotten yours!!! *excited*
Poo day today it seems - after 3 full days without one. Boy am I glad he was in one of his cloths, not his night time sposie...woulda had no chance of containing it
yay!! got my fluffy mail!!! still have 2 in progress, but got 2 DMs =) (my first) they are so pretty!
Left DD at swimming pool creche today and they loved her cloth bum!
the maternal child nurses (i have seen a few lately) get all interested and excited by DS' cloth nappies and my Close Carrier.
Heh, my CHN was fascinated too HotI - asked where I got them, how easy they were to use and everything. I'm guessing they're not common in this area yet...
I got my custom Peechee Cloth nappies today! They are so so gorgeous! I got one for DS (hoping he'll toilet train in the near future) and three for DD. I'm really, really impressed with them.
Epacris and I were at a party on Saturday and a pg mum-to-be was fascinated with MCNs. I showed her some of mine from the nappy bag and she took photos! We'd already softened her up by demonstrating baby wearing, so she was all around a good audience. ;)
I don't have many pretties, but I'm loving the TotBots I got (I think from Rowellen, but I can't remember!). Now I'm working through my baby-sized stash, not the NB ones, I know I'll *need* a few more in a couple of months, surely!
WOHB: Her night time nappy routine - a Sandys with a prefold and a BBH PUL cover (red tonight). This lasts her all night. The prefolds are fantastic!
Yay for potentially another convert. I'm the only one out of my mothers group who uses MCN, but some of the others are starting to show an interest - especially since I said I've yet to have a poo-scape from the cloth when if he poos in a sposie it ends up going everywhere.
Plus you can have fun with them, like taunting my mum and sister with pics of DS in his Collingwood Pies nappy :)
WOAB - canary yellow BBH magicall multifit.
yep i love em :) Teirae i need pics i wanna see what u got lol the customs are from dragonfly magik google or facebook search :) they are all dragonfly magik
WOJB: issy bear night jamie is now wearing jazzys night nappies and vice versa coz miss chubby seems to hate suedecloth at nights but only nights
WOJB: twinkle lily night and wonderwrap cover
No poo leaks in cloth here either, even the bad ones that make it all the way to the edges seem to be trapped in. Very different to DD1 in sposies.
I agree, I rarely have a pooplosion in cloth, all the time with disposables
Me too, the only time we have a pooplosion here is when he needs to go up a size but I'm holding on to keep him in the smaller one because I don't want to admit he's getting bigger! Then I have to deal with the aftermath...
WOIB: a yellow bumcheek with two cushie tushie disposable inserts, a bumcheek insert and a peapod insert... None of our night nappies dried so I'm trying to make do with what I could find :S fingers crossed it lasts!!
Excuse my sucky spelling, I'm on my iPhone
Got some fluffy mail today!! yay for that. two cgr pretties and a tissy tots. Very pretty. Unfortunately they smell like wee :( Not happy Jan! Never mind. I will just wash them really well and hope I can get the smell out. I can't understand how she could not have noticed?? I have had to rewash inserts before, mainly micro fleece ones to get rid of the smell. But surely you would notice it?? It was in all of them :(
WOMB - bbh night nappy small.... she won't be in that much longer, but for now it looks very cute
I like to do a strip wash when i get new second hand nappies. There is a thread that describes the different ways how to do the strip washes.
I don't notice wee smells  I know I have had outgoing nappies that get that way but I didn't know.
Jen13 - I love TotsBots too! What type are you using? I have 8 of the old velcro Bamboozles in size 1, but I might start hunting for more. I have just put them away now, DD wore them from 6 weeks to 15 months, and I'm only stashing them because we don't *need* them for her, and I want to leave a bit of life in them for baby number 2. PS Empty your messages folder!
Does anybody know anything about GroVia? I have never used them, but they are releasing a print I love. great reason to buy, huh? Might have to go a-searchin'.
Has anybody seen the "Sh*t Crunchy Mommas Say" clip on youtube? Every time I rinse of a revolting pooey nappy now I have to say "Ugh. Spiruleeeeena." Even though there's not spirulina in there, although we have been eating a lot of spinach, and *that* makes for some interesting nappy productions.
WONB: Bubblebubs AIO
Bahahaha! Yes I have seen the "**** crunchy mammas" say vid :). Pretty funny, there is now a second one out too now :). I loved the comments "where's the coconut oil? Etc... My friends and I really do sound like that, lol!
Haven't seen it, but might have to go a-lookin' :)
Came across a website that does some ever so pretty runs of different one off's and such - now trying to convince DH that I really do need a few, after all he has his footy team one...
WOAB - rumparooz pocket, robot print.
I planned to sell my BBH Magic-Alls - so stripwashed them as per the instructions on the BBH website. The dye ran in all of them so now instead of white, they're a lovely shade of grey. Even after re-washing and several hours in the sun :(
WOCB: sage bambooty easy dry
Finally got an order I've been waiting nearly 2 months for! I can finally stop washing every single day :D So nice to have both my boys in cloth.
Cheeky Butts have reopened and now DD2 has grown out of all her NB nappies I felt the need to get a couple of prettier OSFMs. I liked their NB ones so much I hope these are as good.
WOHB: pink minky Cheeky Butts mini (for the last time :()
Audax I had one of the GroVia NB nappies and I hated it. Used it once and it leaked immediately. Straight out the legs. It went into my nappy bag as an emergency only spare. I think I gave it one more try and same thing. The MagicAlls didn't leak for us.
Have no idea which TotBots I have. They're size adjustable with Velcro fastening. Got them secondhand off a BB member. Love them!
Were you having those problems with the older Magicalls or the new version? Ours have been fine, dry reasonably quickly too, though that might be more because of our super-awesome drying weather (read: blimmin' stinking hot!) than anything else :)
I have had old and new MagicAlls. I don't like the fit, the gappy legs, the lack of adjustability, or the drying time, or that you can get Australian made nappies for a similar price that are better.
So, GroVia seem to do a hybrid that you can use as a cover? That's what I was thinking of getting. I like WeeHuggers, and they seem to be similar?
I won some CTBDs on ebay. And then DH paid for them. Double win! He has always loved them, so happy to get more.
We've never had any issues with BBH, but the drying time is a definite negative.
Has anyone got any Designer Baby OSFM? I've just gotten 2 but one of them leaks terribly! The other is fine so don't know what to do.
ok...newbie questions!! I'm going to start strip washing my nappies, so do I pull them all apart (so boosters etc are seperate?)? and then do you do them up when you wash them or leave them undone? (they are all press studs)
Pull them apart and leave them undone for washing so there's no pulling on the snaps in the wash :)
Excuse my sucky spelling, I'm on my iPhone
i find drying in winter ok cos they just go on a clothes horse in front of heater or in front of window on a sunny day.
BBH work well for us. i like to use them for long car trips cos i know they will hold the wee. mine are older ones --don't know if that makes a difference. i turn them inside out to dry quicker.
