Advice Needed with Reflux

ShootingStar- its a 150mg tablet and he is suppose to have 30mg twice a day but yeah the tablets are hard to cut down into 30mg :/

Yeh, but if you dissolve the whole tablet in 15mls of water, then give him 3mls of that solution, it would be the same as him having 30mgs of the tablet iykwim. Saves having to cut it and try to work out what 30mg is . Because you need to discard of any unused tablet anyways as it become inactive (so the paed told me).

unused tablets to be thrown away? after how long? I cut one at night and use the rest in the morning....

Not sure Danielle.. the pediatrician just mentioned it becomes inactive or something once its cut and left, so to make sure i discard whatever isnt used (DD2 is on half a tablet once a day). So sometime within that 24 hours it becomes inactive.. im guessing not long after once the granules are exposed to air.. so if you find your DS is a bit more irritable after the 2nd half of the tablet your giving in the morning, it might be why?
