My 7mnth old recently had a buppy red rash over his back, neck and a little on his tummy... Seeing he is my first of course i panicked but because it was a sunday afternoon my doctors was shut so i started calling every mum i knew... About 8 of them all said their child had the same rash when they were teething, and now of course the rash went down and my little one has his first tooth... So the teething rash is actually more common then you think, the doctors will say its a heat rash or viral, but if the baby isnt sick just getting normal teething temperatures it may be nothing more then the basic teething rash... I didnt do anything new or change anything, and once he had the rash i only moisturised more often and it went away by itself, it never annoyed him and afterwards it was like it was never there. Howsever sometimes it stills pops up which apparently is normal... Ive spoken to many mothers since that first rash day and there have been so many that said there children had they same thing, they didnt even panic or take there kids to the doctor...
