Thanks for replying Jen, nice to know (though sad at the same time) that we are not the only ones going through this!

She is still on the losec and will be 2 next week. The Paed didn't want to increase her dose last time we saw him but I think it needs to be. He sent her for a barium meal swallow through which showed her refluxing straight away (which was a relief of sorts because Im sure some people just dont believe me!) they were looking for a structural problem. We find out the results when we see the paed again on Oct 5th. The paed wanted to try her off the losec again but I dont want to do this. He said he would refer us to a gastro spec as the next step.
Our dd hase been on meds since she was 3 weeks old, I hate that shes been on it for so long too, but what can I do? It already has caused major sleep issues, muscles that needed physio for a year as she didnt learn how to isolate her muscles as she was tense all the time, pain association so I had to stop breastfeeding as she lot alot of weight and the list goes on. I found when we did try to take her off the meds she stopped eating, became very irritable, would be screaming for hours all night and hiccuping all the time.

Will let you know how we go from our next appoint. Hopefully we can both get some answers!!
