When my dd was little, I had the chemist make the losec up into a liquid which was much easier. The doctor you see next week might be able to tell you what pharmacists can do it for you nearby.
When my DD was eating solids for breakfast, we switched to the tablet which I dissolve in a little container and then spoon it on top of his cereal.
