With DS I co-slept for most of the time (with short breaks when he was ok on his own) between 7.5 to 20-odd months. DD is currently co-sleeping.

DD1 co-slept until she was 5. I didn't realise that was unusual, but it seems to be! DS didn't want to co-sleep, but if he wakes in the night (maybe once a week) he comes to our bed for a snuggle. DD2 co-sleeps full time and she'll move out when she's ready! DH and I love it and so does DD. Both of the girls have co-slept from our first night in hospital when they wouldn't sleep in their bassinet but settled immediately in my arms. DS likes to spread out when he sleeps and likes his own space in bed.

We co sleep after 12 most nights, it just works as dd wakes for feeds at least 4 times a night up to 8 times and getting out of bed that much was a real struggle, we put her in her cot to start with but we figure that once she's ready to sleep longer/thru then she won't sleep with us because she wouldnt have got up for feeds so she'd still be in her bed. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't because she sleeps like a starfish, but I always love waking up to a smiling one year old patting my face.. <3

With DD, on and off until she was about two. With DS1, he's nearly 3 and DH or I still sleep with him. DS2 is also still cosleeping. We will be putting DS1 into his own bed in a few months because we are sick of our sleeping arrangements, as well as the fact that DS1 has no idea how to go to sleep by himself and we think he needs to learn. When DH has a week off work in November, we will be putting both DS1 & 2 their own beds. DS1, just because it's time to do so, and DS2, in the hopes we won't end up with the sort of sleeping arrangements we have now! As well as if he's still sleeping as badly as he does now, maybe sleeping alone might help him sleep better....maybe!

I am still co sleeping lol and my DD2 is now over 4. We usually end up with DD2 and DD3 and DD4 in the bed with us every night. Mind you DD4 is only 7 weeks old

Is this why King Size beds were invented? LOL.
My husband see's it as a real burden to bring the kids into bed when we cant get them back to sleep. I really like it

DD1 slept with me until she was about 8 months old and basically objected to being in bed with me by bouncing up and down off my knees. Then transferred her into a cot also in my room until she was 18 months at which point she went into her own room and I've been trying to get her back into my bed ever since

DD2 starts off in a cot and then either co-sleeps with DP or with me when she wakes up around midnight. DP and I generally sleep in separate rooms at the moment because he works late shifts and his snoring seems very effective at re-settling DD2 who often wakes up every 40 mins throughout the night. That makes for a very unsettled sleep for me if she's in my bed but DP barely stirs (I know this from when all three of us have been in the same bed). So for us, it works best if DD2 co-sleeps with DP who actually loves it too.

DD1 coslept until 19mths when we moved her to her own bed, own room in which she was fine with it. I was pregnant and we knew it was time.
Although she would wake once a night and walk down to our bed and crawl in with us. So we kinda were still cosleeping still just not full-time lol.

DD2 is in a bassinet next to our bed although cosleeps most of the night. Newborn snuggles
