My OPK's change darkness according to when I use them and what colour my pee is Every time my pee is concentrated and darkish I have a dark second line, but if it's a med-light coloured pee my second line will always be a medium darkness.
Could it be that you were testing with concentrated pee?

    Good luck

Heh heh, I just bought the 3-pack of FRER! Don't know if it was on special though, it was $15 something, is that cheap? Oh, wait a minute, I went to the BigW (didn't see that post till I got back!) It felt vaguely illicit buying pregnancy tests (it always feels teenagerish - don't know why, I never bought hpt when I was a teenager!) so I came back with the pack of FRER and 2 chocolate easter rabbits

80% of me is betting on BFN
10% of me thinks maybe there will be a v faint another chem preg deal
<1% of me (maybe half a percent) is hoping for a bfp for real

(I know I am missing some % there, that's the part of me that is standing back refusing to get involved in such ridiculous behaviour! Running out in the heat of the day to buy pregnancy tests INDEED.)

    here goes nothing!

Hahaha (that's me laughing at myself!) - it was BFN!

I actually had a bit of faint spotting as I went to the bathroom which pretty much rendered it all a moot point (and I wouldn't have bothered dashing out to the shops if I had seen it beforehand), but I thought I would test anyway in case it *had* been a chemical and there was still some sign.

Guess it was an evap line then, and hopefully I have learnt my lesson about trying to use opks as hpts!!

And I have 2 extra FRER, for next time insanity strikes
