Sorry but I don't put much stock in any of this - it is all antedocal, with no real evidence or significant statistics to back any of it up. There is a 50:50 chance of either gender. It is just a random quirk that means some people end up with more of one then the other, and unless the family in question is of significant size then you cann't really say they are more prone to one gender then another (a sample of one or two kids in not a sample).


FWIW - my family has a funny family pattern. I am one of six kids: five girls, one boy (although it would have been two boys, but mum had a still born). One of my aunties has 3 girls, one boy. Another Aunty has 4 boys, one girl. One of my uncles has 3 boys, 1 girl. This is a commone pattern in my family amongst those with large families. I am curious myself to see what my next will be and if I will follow this pattern or not.
