Any thoughts on what to do next?
No AF since ??? maybe Feb? got very light spotting and thought I was about to get AF but nothing still thinking tis my body sorting out since having DD (12months old)...
Remember in March thinking I was about to get AF anyday...nope..then noticed sore boobs and very stretchy and copious amounts of egg white mucuos..pushed the panic button and did a HPT..faint line at the end of time limit...went to docs and got a BT...it comes back as negative - but no HCG number!!!
But a neg is a neg RIGHT???Please tell me thats right? Anyone had a neg turn into a postive via BT..?
So another week has passed, sore boobs, achey ovaries, bloated, copious amount of mucuos egg white/ super stretchy/ fertile looking...what happens next? do I go back to docs and ask for a repeat BT? going to look really stupid...DH has had the big snip, but last sample still had live sperm 18months after the event..already got one bubs out of the operation and absolutely scared to death I might be BFP again..
Any thoughts /advice/insite/similar experiences and outcomes welcome, thanks.

I think you need to go back and get another beta HPT and u/s.

Yeh..I guess looking stupid one more time is'nt going to make any difference...lol
I keep thinking another week and AF will be here..but not sure if I really should wait any more weeks?
But no MS??but plenty of other symtoms..also Af symptoms!!! SSSSOOOO confused.

Some places will return a negative if HCG is below a certain number. You need to ask for a quantitative HCG test - that will tell you how much is there, not just a yes/no answer.

oh man that is extremely confusing!! i would be going back to the doctors and asking for another test, or a referral for an u/s just to be sure. so you said after DH got the snip, you got pregnant and had another baby?? hmmm....his sperm must be awesome swimmer!! don't feel stupid, it's perfectly legit, and something you need to get checked out, especially since it's happened before. all the best!!

Pam, tricky one! I think I'd be doing some HPTs and then making my decision from that as to whether to follow up with a trip to the doctor to request a blood test to check levels. Hope the wondering isn't doing your head in! Big hugs and lots of love and big birthday kisses for Tilly for her first birthday!

Bought some HPT got a faint line....OMG, OMG ,OMG!!!
DH is taking a stupid it can't be me approach..I just said well go get tested again, because I have'nt been doing anythign I should'nt....as if I woul dhave the time let alone the inclination...grrr men..but at the same time I kind of get where he is coming from..but very worried all the same.
Line is too faint for 8weeks..there is no way it is going ahead....I will use my other test in a few days time and see what happens.

Hugs Pam... I'd be taking the tests into the dr with you and asking for an ultrasound. I can only imagine the stress of draging all the kiddies along but you better get checked out... Good luck darl and happy birthday to Tilly, I can't get over how quickly time has gone by.. Take care xx

Geez, Pam! Yes, like Suzie says, try to get an ultrasound done asap. You need to know what's going on. Boy oh boy, but I'd be taking DH back to the surgeon to get a refund... or something... ha.

Another possibility is you Oed late and that's why the test is so faint right now. I Oed 5 weeks late with this bub and then conceived. My Ob said she's seen longer missed periods then a conception within her patients. The only reason I believed a HPT was because I had two that were positive with the lines and then a digital rammed it home for me! Also did you try different brand HPTs on each occasion? I had 2 different brands that didn't work for me when it turned out I was 2 1/2 months pregnant with DD and then another brand that was a really faint positive!

Okay still waiting for AF!!! feel like it is coming
LOOK OUT TMI about to come but when I wipe its just fertile EWM and loads of it!!!
Sore boobs..but not much else..enough to make me think if this is menopause..it sucks..I can't imagine my boobs feeling like this all the time.
I really can't remember my last AF and I'm not sure if I should count the 3 days of very light spotting which would have been Feb sometime..we only DTD once without protection and I can't really recall a date etc..but it would have been before this light spotty...and now I can't get out of my head maybe that was an implanatation bleed!!! geez..

I am really reluctant to go back to the docs because I spend half my life there already and i am am sick of looking stupid...I have done a docs urine test which was my first + but very faint and can't be sure if it came up after the time..because I looked at it before i was about to throw it away..I took that test to the docs and he said that it could'nt be counted and ordered the BT which came back neg but with no numbers since then I have done 2 crystal clear test 3 days apart first came up with a faint + right at max time next came up with a very faint line as the pee went up the stick but so faint that I had to keep looking at it..those test have a shiny cover so the light hits it and is hard to see but its there..fainter tahn the previous one though I should have waited untilt he mornign but figured it was 3 days later it should still come up plus I had a bee in my bonnett and could'nt wait any longer once I had started thinkin g about it again...whne it was fainter I decided just to wait it out expecting to bleed in the next few days..but nope nothing yet!!

Everything I read says sperm can't live for more than 6 months after a VAS..and given the fact his did'nt increase they consider it was an effective operation..but as I said to him last night when he had his second test done..it would ahve been closer to 12 months and it still had live sperm..so if i am I hope this is recorded somewhere..other than that maybe its my imagiantion?? or perhaps a phantom pregnancy( OMG that would be awful..but my body has been preganant so many times before and at about this timing what if it decided to do that to me) ??? menopause?? stress?? I have been more stressed before and still gotten AF... I have never missed an AF I am either on time or early except for when I am BFP
I really don't think I am..it just does'nt seem posible??? but the thought keeps creeping back in....just because of AF absence..
and Kerry they don't refund..they send a letter home to cover their asses..saying that it can reattatch etc...and DH is at fault here as well..by not going to have testing done everytime I have had to hound him to do it..and even now he can't remember where he put the request form....sooo angry with him. Apparently the doc told him to go home have sex and withdraw to clear the sperm out..I told DH to get lost!!!! after getting preg with Tilly there was no way that I would take that chance..but apparently i will..I guess you just think there is no way there could be live sperm after all that time..and being that much older really what are the chances??
Not good I would think..so again i don't think I am..but I am goign to have to go again and make sure nothing more sinister is going on..any thoughts on reasons why HCG would be happening? I can't find any reasons when i google it.

went and bought another HPT decided to use it then and there..wee then wiped and there was a streak of blood..thought phew!!!
nothing much happened all day..that night I had really bad back pain..right across my lower back I thought great this is whats goign to happen now ( after each baby my body comes up with some smancy new system for gettign and having AF) never had thsi before..I fell asleep on my side.. I kept having weird dreams and slept on and off.... in the early hours I woke with a crampy pain coming in waves I was forced up to the toilet when I got there a big blob fell out palm size (I looked at it, thought about retrieving it then decided, that there was no point...nothing would ever be done anyway)
I am convinced I MC it was so much like what happened when I lost the baby before my DS..same sensation..as it was happening..the thought was running through...since then the sore boobs have eased and the fertile EWM has gone..there has'nt been much bleeding very light..and still crampy now I am down to watery type loss sorry if thats TMI. I may have to be checked out anyway..there does'nt seem to have been enough of a loss, regardless of what ever happened.

Dh found his request form and has submitted his sample...I'm pretty sure it is coming back with live sperm if so he will be off having another op..if it does'nt I have no idea what happened.. I feel strange and am keeping a close eye on myself, making sure nothing odd crops up..anyway thanks for listening and all your help..I won't be DTD unprotected anytime soon!!!!

Sorry to hear even though it was like for the best with all things considered although nothing really makes a loss any easier.

To answer your first question, yes I have had a neg BT to end in a +BT. I am pregnant with that baby now and I was definitely pregnant when I got the negative result. So yes it is possible hope you are doing ok

Sounds like a rotten time, I'm so sorry That's exactly why I wanted a hysterectomy, because it's the only way that there will never be any chance of pregnancy.
