Hi girls,
(hope this is the right spot for this thread!)
I really can't wait to join you all in TTC buddies soon! DF and I are getting married in Sept and think it's sensible to wait until just before the wedding to TTC#1 as so I fit into my wedding dress and can drink wine!
I'm just soooo desperately wanting to fall pregnant... i've been feeling this way for the last 4-6 months especially! I'm off the pill and have been since March (using alternative form of contraception) to get my fertility levels back and normal!
I'm nearly 26 and DF is nearly 27 this year so we are at the age where we feel we are ready for this, well we know we are! I know it's only another 4mths until we TTC however it seems like a life time!! I hope you don't think I'm being silly about it all, it's just that being a mum and being pregnant and having a baby has meant so much to me for the last 3 years..(like all of you girls i'm sure!!!). i've been so clucky!
I'm also hoping to have 3 children so time is ticking!!!!!! You know how they talk about your clock? Well, I just know my clock is saying "it's time!!!" I just have to wait another 4mths..... I just hope it doesn't take too long to conceive, i mean, if we start trying now, we may be preg by the wedding! (that would be perfect!) or if we start trying now, we could fall preg immediately (that would be lucky!) however then I would be fat in my dress!!!!
My mum started having babies at the age of 24 and had all of her kids by the time she was 30. I'll still be having mine after 30 i'd say by now!

Thats what i said...and then i said nup need to make my wedding dress fit.... that same month i said lets wait... i fell with DD!! Wedding got moved from 30 Sept to 8 July!!!
I am a bit like that now, that we have talked about it, and we are going to start trying for our 3rd in november, It will come quickly. Good luck with TTC in August.
Kimbaz - I'm glad you know how i feel! I'm sure there are lots and lots of ppl out there that know how i feel! DF and I talk about babies every day now (esp me!) and I am just sooo damn clucky! Well I am 26 nearly so that's the age when you have kids right??!!! Well, its the age when your body is definitely ready that's for sure. Our wedding is 29 September!!! (1 day off from what yours was going to be! hehe)
Kelly - thanks, i hope it does come quickly, well we are nearly into June so yeah not long, i am just sooo impatient and so excited about being pregnant! Being a mum is what i am looking forward to in life the most (besides marrying my awesome man!).
BTW i love the names you picked for your girls they are so pretty
I've already thought of a list of names for our "not yet conceived" babies! hehehe
restar we can be ttc buddies i am waitin till august too. but with me i am jst trying to time it so i am no more then 6months at my wedding. i dont mind being big or not drinking i just want to be able to fly fo rmy honeymoon lol. it is only a hr by plan anyways. my wedding is 1st march. we can wait together and try to to stress too much the time will go so fast.

Yay!!! We'll no doubt be preg the same time hopefully!! I just hope it doesn't take us long to conceive.... hoping it won't take longer than 3-4mths! I wish we could say "right i want to fall preg NOW!" and it was that easy (i'm sure all the girls here say the same thing all the time!!! I am not the first!) It's #1 for me so very, very excited!! I just wish we could start trying now! I mean, we could if we wanted to, which we really really do!, however there is the other aspect of it, such as my wedding dress will not fit if I am 4mths preg, I wouldnt mind having 1 or 2 wines on my wedding day (not necessary though!) etc etc so yeah, in the whole scheme of things, 4mths to wait is not long.... if only i knew how long it would take us to conceive that way i'd know when to start trying!!! aaaggghhhh!!! hehe
Congrats on your upcoming wedding also! If you are preg, will you just get your dress adjusted or have you not bought your dress just yet? I suppose you have plenty of time for dress shopping seeing as your wedding isn't until March. good luck TTC! I'll see you around!!!
yeah i know wat you mean about we coudl start tryin now and might not happen till august but knowing our luck if we tried liek that we would get preg straight away. I havent got my dress yet as i am loosing some weight at the mo for my health and for when i get preg. i know wat kind of dress i want and i know 2 dress makers so i can get it made for my bump how ever big it needs to be.
so i only have 11 weeks to wait now because i can start asap the start of aug after my period finishes. it should start around 30july. the count down is on.
I am in the same boat but trying for #3...I am desperate to fall soon but DH wants a winter baby next. I have no idea why as he wont be the one getting up in the freezing cold to b/f at night...I am actually in the process of trying to convince him a smaller gap is better than a bigger gap. We have 20months between DD and DS and it is so heart melting when they play well together, mind you there are the other times where I think how mad were we. My DS is nearly 18 months and I was nearly due to have him when DD was his age, it is making me very clucky.
I guess I only have a few months to wait so it is not so bad.
Renstar - Good luck with the wedding plans and ttc,
It all gets very excieting with a wedding fast approaching and hopefully a honeymoon to follow, with any luck you could get a honeymoon baby?
But consider taking a moments pause and thinking about all the things you might miss with the time flying by. Your wedding day will pass so quickly, it will be one of many 'best days' of your life. Take a moment to smell the roses, your life will almost feel perfect, the next 'best day' will be the day you see your BFP (it may come before the wedding, only time will tell). Then the next 'best day' will be the day you hold your little one in your arms. But take time to appreciate what you have now, and know the future is not far away.

Charlotte - I have heard that quote before too, it's lovely... and very, very true.... you're right when you say, one day at a time and enjoy each thing as it comes. if everything happened all at once, we would not have anything else to look forward to... and some days i am like "far out i want to be preg right now!!" and other days i am like "yeah, when it happens it happens" so it all works out for the best in the end... and i believe it happens when it is meant to happen.
I think i was definitely having a "want to be pregnant right now"moment when i posted this a few days ago... i've calmed down since.... hahahaha! I'm still VERY, VERY clucky however and always will be until I have a little one in my belly I think.... which is normal for lots of 26 year old's i think... clucky one's anyway! I always said i'd have a baby at 26-27 yrs of age

I know this thread is a bit old but I so now how you feel. OMG I can not stop thinking about babies. We were planning on TTC in September but we've now decided to start trying now. Although not actively trying as I have no idea what's going on with my cycle, just came off the pill. So we're not using contraception and if it happens it's meant to be I say! So you have more self-control than me! lol.
SaraJane - we HAVE to wait until the wedding! LOL I don't want to fall pregnant before hand as i might feel sick and have MS on the day of the wedding!!! (nausea etc!) mind you, i would be excstatic (sp?) if we fall pregnant next month!!! yippeee! but we will start trying early Sept i think, also depending on how my cycle is and what stage it's at... i have worked out though i should be ovulating around the same time as our wedding!!!! over that weekend!!!!
Sassy, not long for you now!! You must be getting very excited indeed!!! Me too, i'm 28-30 day cycle now too!!! I'm glad i went off BCP's in March and didn't leave it later....
Lindz, not long for you sweetie, i reckon you'll be pregnant in no time!! I reckon July/Aug for you!! If not, it will be Sept!!! Fingers crossed~!!!!!
renstar: that is pretty good timing to be oing your wedding weekend that will make it so much more special. your wedding will be here in no time. march is ages away for me i am starting to feel like i am over the plans at the mo i knwo wat i want it is just waiting to put it all into place.
So sassy, are you going to wait until March now to conceive? Or sooner? I thought you said you were going to try now? (may have been someone else sorry !!) whether you try now or next year, the year has already gone by so fast, i cannot believe we are almost into 2008!! Time flies so fast... it will happen for you soon enough but yeah, it's tough at times isn't it? especially if you are having a "i want a baby NOW" moment like i have some days... today wasn't one of those days which was good! I mean, i want a baby every day but some days i am REALLY feeling the urge to try to conceive then you know what i mean? I think you would... depends if i keep myself busy then i don't thnk about babies as much as i would if i don't have much to do and i've got time to think about it....
I just can't wait to be a mum!!! I wonder if i can get a ticker to show how many days until we TTC!!! ( i don't think we are allowed ! )
