No question is stupid, only some of the answers can be.

With DS it was as soon as we stopped contraception, but seven months before we were going to start properly trying, IYSWIM.

Hi guys...I tested this morning, (not FMU....second!) and I got 2 lines, one heaps lighter than the other (but came up within 5 minutes)...I could see it at arms length, but not really sure if its real or not.
Im waiting on some Early tests to arrive in the mail (the really sensitive (10) ones) to test tomorrow.

I had done some digital tests and they came up with one very faint line and the control, but apparently they always do that, and then decide if the second one is dark enough to call a pregnancy.

The one I did this morning was a Confirm Early Pregnancy Test...
Im just not sure if I should get excited or not....lots of AF style cramping still too...Im SURE AF is coming!

I'm another one that got lucky first time I think Confirm was the brand that gave me my BFP (after 2 negative tests with a different brand.) I have my fingers crossed for you. My BFP came a day after AF was due to show up properly. Goodluck - I have everything crossed for you

Also want to add that I had AF cramps for a few days before and after my BFP.

Sorry to butt in but wanted to say GOOD LUCK !!!

It sounds like a to me as I'm sure the line doesn't have to be the same colour- as long as there's a line there!

My early tests haven't arrived yet, but I just did a First Response one (at 11:40) and same thing...strong coloured control line, and faint second line (but still visible from arms length)....
I have to admit..I did a little bit of jumping up and down...
Still...gonna wait til AF is late before I get too excited!

    Juleswa??
How are you going? if you want drop me an email, just email jules@yahoo.com.au

Hope you're well and havent had any visits from AF yet

I think AF is on the way. Had a bit of spotting last night, absolutely nothing all day, except for slight spotting again about half andhour ago. I didn't do a HPT this morning cause I thought for sure AF was coming on. Temp was still high this morning which is strange. I don't think I'm pregnant, but will do another HPT this afternoon when i get home. Unless I want to try to convince myself that the spotting can mean implantation or can still be quite normal when first pregnant....hm...yeah....i might run with that one for a bit more untill AF really comes on full strength (if she's going to come on at all...wink...wink..hmm..hmm) Yep, I'm still in the running I've just decided.....yeah...delusional more like it!?!?!?! ha ha

Yours sounds really promising!!! I think you've done it. From everything I've been reading in these forums, a line is a line is a line!!!! how exciting!!!! woo hoo woo hoo!!!

Make sure you let us know!

I'm not going to be able to log on for a few days now cause I'm not going to be at work untill next week, and yep we're still in the dark ages at home and haven't hooked up internet (I know I know!). I'll try to log in if I get a chance but if not....I'm keeping everything crossed for you and everyone else out there for BFP's

It sounds like it could be implantation bleeding Jules...
Im a bit concerned cause I HAVEN'T had implantation bleeding, and I'm still getting cramps and stuff....I'm not going to get too excited until I see whether AF arrives over the weekend.
Im due on saturday (just calculated through the inaccurate method of counting days!) so I'll do a test with hubby sunday morning if nothing has happened and take it from there.

    good luck

If by chance I do get a BFP, then I'll be sure to find a way to log on and let you know. So, if you don't hear from me untill next week, then you know AF has finally come on.

    I'll be thinking of ya!

    Hello
Im fairly new to this but just wanted to say it sounds to me like a positive test!
a few mths ago the same thing happened to me with one dark line and one very faint line - i wanted a few days and both lines were fairly dark! and i was pregnant (i did the test with the "first response")
Unfortunally i just recently had a miscarriage at 8.5wks - now dont know what to do or when to start trying again!
Good luck with it! let us know how the next test goes!

Hubby and I have re-tested (AF due tomorrow), our line is almost the same colour as the control line so we are assuming all is going well.
Off to Doctor on Wednesday for blood test!

    Congrats to you

I'm getting some weird AF like cramps, and I'm not used to actually getting them
My back is sore and my boobs are too - If AF doesn't arrive for me on the Monday (which will make it 7 weeks 3days post m/c) do you think I should test?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm back! not pregnant but. AF came on so was just unusually late, but then so was O so I'm happy cause it means luteal phase was keeping up it's end of the bargain. I can honestly say that we weren't really trying at all, but I can say that it has inspired us even at the thought that we could be pregnant - it was quite exciting and husband was quite cute about the whole thing. So, we're going to give it a real shot this month despite the overseas trip next month and just leave it up to whatever happens and whatever is meant to be.
I've been searching on gender selection stuff, cause we'd really like a boy first up. Is that a bad thing in itself to have a preference??? We're not hung up on it, but I thought if there were little things we could try out, then why not. I stumbled on a website called 'choose the sex of your baby' (which does seem kind of selfish to me in a way so I feel a bit bad.....advice???) anyway, has anyone done or heard of this method that works with ph levels of mucus, and special dates?????
Anyway - a big congrats to BabyWrangler!!!! that is absolutely awesome news!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!! How are you feeling?

hope you're all well and having a fantabulous day!

If that's that Martine LeFleur woman or whatever, don't buy it!!!!
I have heard lots of people say it doesn't work and then when you try to get your money back she doesn't answer your emails!
