Have to say I agree with wouldloveabubba there. The pill changes the ph level of your vaginal mucous from alkaline to acidic. Sperm thrive in an alkaline environment, and hence this helps to explain why the pill is an effective form of contraception. For an optimum healthy conception it is advisable that you be off synthetic hormones for at least three months and practice pre-conceptual care in this period before trying to conceive.

The book goes into great detail about how to monitor your fertility and naturally modify your cycle length, optimum nutrition, as well as how to remove the toxins from your bodies and your surrounding environment which are common barriers to conception.
It is an extremely informative and empowering read.
