Wasn't a fan of the bread she made but everything else was good
Which bread was it? I've never had bread at a demo usually its pizza LOL
Was a wholemeal scroll thing with Parmesan and spinach in it
Lol definitely Cassius! I'm yet to have one... We are getting there with the fundraising so hoping it won't be long...
My TM has been getting a work out as usual for iced coffees, banana iceblocks for the kids, peanut butter and oat balls for the kids, chocolate cake, pasta sauce, chicken burgers. I haven't done risotto in a while as I'm trying to stay away from refined carbs. (Apart from those delicous pizzas, hot cross buns and homemade breads I've been making!).
I had the mushroom risotto at my demo. Any ideas how to make it more tasty was a tad bland for me
Add bacon at the start with the onion and use extra stock concentrate and more parmesan :)
Thanks she didn't use stock
Really? Thats weird. Its usually a staple to show off the thermomix concentrate
Yep was water onion mushrooms garlic
What recipe does everyone use for hot cross buns ?
She made a risotto with just water? No wonder it was bland. Blergh.
Id use wine and stock then. She sounds a bit dodgy tbh the bread isnt a demo recipe either....
I'm using the EDC one but using Cadbury chips instead of fruit :)
Thanks rouge I'm going to give them a go
I just made the fruit ones because I like the spices in my choc chip ones. I add a sprinkle of cocoa to the cross paste (for colour) and 230g bag of Cadbury milk cooking bits. I also add a tad more sugar coz I'm bad like that.
My tweaks on the EDC - no sugar, no fruit or peel. And for my spices I use 2 teaspoons of mixed spice and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. I can't tolerate dried fruit! Gross!
So it's here and I have no idea what to make lol
choc custard ;)
Veggie stock is always good to have handy.
Off to find recipe
Yesterday I made:
Cookie dough bites

How does the chocolate taste/feel Olive? I'm so tempted to try, but with the effort that actually getting the ingredients takes here, I want it to be worth the effort.
So, I'm trying to decide if its worth getting the second blade and bowl. Help me out.
No, I don't actually have my TMX yet   But I'm tempted by the discount on the second blade/bowl. $125... Should I? Shouldn't I?
Edit: I know you have to be an existing customer etc etc, my sister is going to get it for me if I want it.
I took delivery of mine last Friday. I haven't used it yet so I have no idea, but in theory there have been heaps of times where I wished I had a second bowl.
Get the second bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldnt live without my second bowl so yes do it!
Yep, get the second bowl. I use mine heaps. Even if the recipe your making doesn't need u to have two, it is great for those days where you have one drying up and you can't be arsed hand drying, so u just get out your second bowl to get on with things.
Anyone seen the new baby/toddler cookbook yet? Any good?
I am totally going to buy this book, just waiting though as I have just finished my TMX consultant training so going to wait and see if it's offered as an incentive before I buy it.
Is anyone else a consultant on here? Would be interested to know how you are going?
Is anyone else menu planning?
I have had my thermie for a few months now and am absolutely loving it. Looking forward to selling them!!
It came out the day after I ordered 2 others. Just my luck
What have you been cooking in your thermomix lately?
I made kale & roo lasagne tonight. Yesterday I made the gravy from EDC, Capsicum Dip from EDC and I converted a chocolate and raspberry cake for TMX.
Would love to know what your cooking!!
Double Post
My 6 year old cooked spaghetti bolg in ours tonight for their dinner :)
