Terrible week for me. No planning, no exercise, just winging it. Hardly ate anything today as I was stuffing around on PC uploading things to sell and doing housework. I dread the scales tommorrow
Got the 3 dvd Crunchtime from Target for only $28 (thought it was more but it scanned less), so cheaper than online.
Food I have been pretty good, exercise I could be doing a lot better, so my aim this week is to not miss a workout.
Just catching up on the videos on the website now.

I have been a very naughty nutter.
Too much icecream (to soothe my poor throat) and too much grog (functions, etc).
Monday is a new week. Might not weigh myself for a week or two ...
My scales broke and i have decided to stay off them for a few weeks seeing as i was becoming scales obsessed despite not doing anything to make them move down. Uni semester is over after this weekend so hopefully things become less stressful around here and more focused on fresh instead of fast. I have already booked to go to adelaide so i want to make it worthwhile... even three weeks later i should hopefully make a big dent this round.
Been sick with a bad cold this past week. Did exercise the first few days, but then crashed big time and just could not get out of bed. Food still been reasonable, but feeling ick has meant I have had lots more cuppas and probably nibbled on a few things extra not really thinking.
Was good last night. DH brought home pizza and I did not have a piece. He is now suffering for it though and has requested healthy food for dinner
Debating purchasing a set of scales, I use the Wii at the moment and it takes up too much valuable exercise time doing a weigh in on it. Plus it tells me off for losing to quickly!
I would stick with what you are doing for now, only because the change to scales cn cause a big fluctuation and may be disheartening? It's part of the reason i am not buying new scales for now. but totally a personal choice.
How is everyone going. No movement last weigh in, which I suppose is better than gaining. Feeling and looking slimmer. Have had a few comments, so feels pretty goodWearing a nice work skirt now that is the type that you have to be just the right size or it wont fit, so making the most of it for now.
Finding cardio hard to do in our small lounge room, toning though is not so bad. Just wish the kids would stay in bed and the dog would stop thinking some positions mean "come for a pat"
Had a great weigh in this week, which makes up for the previous week of zilch
I will admit to not pushing myself enough. I think the first day where I pushed myself to almost vomiting has scared me, it was very hard to do all the morning routine and get to work after that. So I have finally lashed out an bought a HRM. Just a beginners model, the Polar F4. Hoping it suits my needs. Could have got a Suunto one through Flybuys, but was just under in points, I have not being doing as much shopping through Coles lately, otherwise I would have had it.
Not doing the full SSS workout, but I think lugging wood for over an hour makes a good substituteWell I can only guess, if I already had the HRM then I would know!
ETA: Just read back a couple of pages, seems some have or have had the F4. Lets hope I don't find it too fiddly.
I totally thought my weigh in was going to be messed up majorly - but I had a 1.8kg loss!
FX that continues![]()
Big oops. DH just found out how much this is costingI am paying for it from my own pocket money, but still he is cranky. So I better be following the plans 100% and do really well to shut him up.
Great weight loss there PZ
I understand his point. We have the 1MKC plans and the Weigh it up ones, plus the CSIRO books. I did not really join for the meal plans, more for the mindset stuff and exercise along with the social support that comes from doing a program that others are doing.
Probably better he found out from me, than working out himself that it cost money
I do admit though I think the 12WBT plans a bit better than the 1MKC ones, except that are not as seasonal as they need to be (a recipe this week called for 2 cups of fresh basil, it is not basil season!!)
I'm considering signing up for another round. Because frankly, I'm not being nearly as consistent as I would like.
Anyone else going the next round?
When does it start?
Im thinking of doing next round. This is my first round without the program and so far Im doing pretty well. But Dh mentioned he wanted to do it next round, so thinking about it. Its start of week 5 tomorrow I think, so next round will start in 7 to 8 weeks.
Im finding maintaining is harder than actually losing the weight, although my skin seems to be catching up and isnt as saggy anymore![]()
DH has signed up for the next round![]()
Eeeek I just signed up!
hows everyone going?
i have lost 5.7 kg in total so far.. unfort this week was my first gain of 500 grams. bad week with a very sick child, non sleeping baby and a birthday. Back on the horse again today and will now make my goal to exercise!! which has been my biggest slack off part.
Still very happy with 5.7kg and a 10 week old baby. Only have 5 kg to go to goal weight.
Well done Beatrix!
5.5 loss since official start, just over 6 from when I first signed up. Happy, but I know I could be doing better.
I have to change my workouts due to pelvic floor, I was damaging it with so many crunches, squats and lunges. So I have to modify, which has kind of messed with my momentum. Got the HRM and using it fine, so atleast now I can see how well I am going (or not). I can see that I don't have to kill myself to get good calorie burn. What I am lacking is a decent stretch of time to workout. Got to just suck it up and do a secondary workout of an arvo/evening. Even just 20 minutes is going to help.
I would sign up next round, but after DH's tantie about the money I may not. Will seeI will not be at goal weight at the end of this round and I am enjoying the menus.
