Yes what exactly does it entail? I have a very restricted diet so I need to know if it's doable with that before I'm willing to fork out heaps of money.
12WBT is:
* A forum, with all the other members, and professional support
* A complete meal plan - including weekly SHOPPING LIST!! (Yes, love this! LOL) for each week, breakfast/lunch/dinner and allowance for snacks
* Access to recipe database - if you don't like Lunch on Tuesday, you can swap it out for another recipe that is similar in calorie content.
* Fitness regimen tailored to suit your fitness level and goals. You will train 6 days a week - you need to burn 500cal, 1000 on Saturdays, about an hour a day. There are programmes for gym, outdoor (oval/park/etc), home (videos etc). The programme covers beginner/inter/advanced levels plus the Lean and Strong which is muscle and toning based rather than weight loss. Your fitness level is determined and tracked by a fitness test at the beginning of the programme.
* Weekly live video chats with Michelle where you can ask her specific questions, etc.
The programme is not a gimmick. It is simple to follow because all the boring work is done for you, all you need do is shop, follow a recipe and train. It is basic, basic stuff - input=ouput stuff. The programme works if you do it and take it seriously. If you cheat, you cheat yourself, it won't work. There are no powers, shakes, soups or other VLCD crap. It is REAL food in appropriate portion sizes combined with regular and sufficient exercise and mindset support.
It works.
And it will teach you things like how to train, what is effective training and what isn't, what size portions you should be eating, how often you should be eating, fabulous recipes that taste amazing and the family will love.... (Penang Chicken and Buttermilk Pancakes OMG *drool*
It works out to $20 a week for the 12 weeks, $200 if you pay upfront in one hit.
I lost 15kg my first round and it was awesome. I will be doing Round 1 next year, another 15kg to go - JFDI!
Everything that Lime said. I did the program mid last year and lost 8kg and that wasn't even following it strictly. I loved her weekly messages and goal setting.
I'll do it next year in Feb with you. This will give me time to settle with school and an older baby.
Looking forward to it :-)
It is definitely a fitness and wellness program. I did the last program to train for a half marathon, which I successfully completed and lost 11 kg in the process!
Well, I have been truly slack and unmotivated since joining :-/
So today I decided to JFDI and get out there and go for a walk before I went home and got stuck into housework and other stuff. I walked up to our local Coles and back which took about 80 minutes, not sure about the kms though. Will have to track them in the car next time I have to head up that way.
Have made good food choices today. Had a tuna & salad for lunch which has kept me feeling fuller.
Will join the fb group next time I log on, thanks for setting up LS

Thanks Limey, i was hoping someone would explain the gist of it, and you have, exactly what i was wondering about too. thank you for taking the time to explain it, much appreciated. I'm wondering about doing it too. Doubt if i can do the exercise part, but figure, even if i only do it for the healthier eating part, it's bound to be an improvement, on what i'm doing/not doing, right now.
the live video chat, is that SKYPE? (i cannot figure SKYE out).
