-1.1kg for me. I'm really happy with that loss as I didn't manage any exercise over the last 5 days.

Md2b - hi ya! Pretty much echo what peanutter has said. The meals are varied but you can stick to the same ones each day anyway. I love the meals but I eat a very varied diet. I think the program is worth it IMO

    1.3kg lost this week
I'm going to step it up a bit this week with the exercise, I haven't actually been following the exercise program yet. Just been doing my c25k and some pump and body balance classes. Will also try and give up the glass of wine and beer I've been having here and there

You should reeeallllly try the Penang Chicken, not the same as a satay, I know, but it hits the spot for me. Filling without, but if you add rice an extra 110 or so cals. Skip a snack to have the rice. We love it, it is so yummy!!!!!! And don't sweat the cheeseburger thing, it was a one off, and it was even within your cals!

Don't beat yourself up, crumpet. New day soon

I went out for Vietnamese with a girlfriend today, thought I was doing well, but she got me a "three colour" which is a bean and coconut milk drink which I thought wouldn't be too bad ...WRONG! 700 calories!!!

So even though I was a good little nutter, and stopped eating as soon as I was satisfied (one pork chop and about 1/4 cup of broken rice, with some tea and the drink) I was still a good 600 calories over my meal allowance

Luckily I'd skimped on brekky (decaf, water, banana) and had a light dinner (the chilli prawns) so I was only about 10 calories over for the day, but it was rough.

    Questions:

    1. Is anyone else's palate changing? I just can't stomach refined sugar at the moment - I treated myself to my all time fave on Monday (skinny hazelnut latte) and it just tasted foul ...
    2. Anyone else getting ragey headaches?
    3. How many days a week are people managing a solid exercise?
    4. What is your 4 week challenge/goal going to be?

There is also a satay chicken recipe on the 12wbt website too. Its AMAZING! Definitely one of my faves. So if you're craving satay that's always an excellent option! All the flavour without the guilt

Uh oh on the lunch date Peanutter, yep coconut milk high in cals! FWIW mine was similar - just a lunch at coffee club with my mum where i stupidly let her convince me to share something with her. I had decided i wasnt getting anything but was starving. I indulged over my meal limit but was still within my daily allowance.

    1. Is anyone else's palate changing? I just can't stomach refined sugar at the moment - I treated myself to my all time fave on Monday (skinny hazelnut latte) and it just tasted foul ...
Yep Im not really keen on sugar, though the maple syrup on my french toast today was sixteen kinds of amazing.

    2. Anyone else getting ragey headaches?
Last week yes, this week no.

    3. How many days a week are people managing a solid exercise?
Not me, but ive been on a physio orders break.

    4. What is your 4 week challenge/goal going to be?
My goal is a 5kg loss which should be easy done as 4.5kg down. And was to cycle for 30mins without stopping. But seeing as i haven't been back to the gym my fitness goal is not going to happen. I want to do the 1000 steps in ferntree gully as my mini-milestone but if i dont end up there i will go to altona (closer to home) and do their 100 steps 10 times. Im also going to go for a walk/shuffle around the lake near mums which is 7.5kms as last year pre-knee-injury running buddies are now running it (so jealous) and i figure i can walk it anyway.

Peanutter, I don't know how you manage through all these lunch dates. I would have a really hard time being 'good' if I was in your situation.

I'm feeling a bit sore after doing back to back body combat and pump class last night! Not as sore as I thought I might be, I'm so glad I did it Tonight I hope to do run 2 week to of c25k. Hope everyone else is going well

    1. Is anyone else's palate changing? I just can't stomach refined sugar at the moment - I treated myself to my all time fave on Monday (skinny hazelnut latte) and it just tasted foul ... Not sure, I haven't really tried to eat anything super sweet this week. Although 80%dark chocolate seems to be satisfying my cravings and it never used to.

    2. Anyone else getting ragey headaches? No headaches here.

    3. How many days a week are people managing a solid exercise? I think I've only missed 1 or 2 days of exercise so far.

    4. What is your 4 week challenge/goal going to be? My 4 week goal is to have lost 4kg and to be strict with the food plan. I have always been better with exercise than food in previous weight loss attempts, so this time I want to keep both on track. So far, so good

    Questions:

    1. Is anyone else's palate changing?
Yes, anything slightly fattening makes me literally hurl

    2. Anyone else getting ragey headaches?
no but I'm feeling off, will need to make Dr appt after AF has left the building to get levels checked

    3. How many days a week are people managing a solid exercise?
Monday (2-3 hours - 2 classes plus bike/run), Friday (2 hours - 1 class plus bike/run/row/weights), Saturday (aiming for 3-4 hours - session with girls in am then 2 classes), Sunday (2 hours - 2 classes - this week 1 class & workout).
Going to try to throw in a morning or two now I think I have the uni routine sorted

    4. What is your 4 week challenge/goal going to be?
Mad Cow Mud Run (12km obstacle race)

Big evening planned for SSS today!

Jillian Michaels triple header - Frontside, Backside, and Kickbox - followed by Michelle Bridge's Cardio Kicker.

The last week has been really stressful and full on, so hoping all this will make me a bit more relaxed and focused going into this week.

Big cook up tomorrow too, love having a full freezer!

LS That sounds like an epic workout! Goodluck with it!

I tried my first workout in a week last night. An hour workout took an hour and a half and was interrupted over 10 times by the girls who were meant to be sleeping. Im just hoping tonight to get a uniterrupted workout in. Actually I just want to go for a run on my new toy, treadmill, and test it out. Im sure I can reach 1000 cals on that.. Perhaps that will be my goal for tonight

Next week menu is very average, will be lots of changing about here.

Yes I think my palate is changing! We treated ourselves to a bag of M&Ms to have after dinner one night, I couldn't finish them, tasted sooo sweet! Then I felt ill and got a headache so guess I'm used to no refined sugar or something.

I did have an awful headache in the first week but nothing since, feeling great!

First week I exercised twice a day (huge walk with the boys and a workout) for 6 days, but come Sunday I could barely keep my eyes open. So have been a little more relaxed this week, just doing the workout and only walked with the boys once. Feeling slack but it's still more exercise than I was doing so it's all in my head lol.

Don't have a 4 week challenge, must've missed that one! I guess I would like to be below 60kg and I think that's achievable. Plan to treat myself to a new bra when I get under 60kg So need it!
