Also before the thread was closed my last post about a calorie counter.. the link is http://primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/...alculat.htmwas just incase anyone wanted it.... it was quite good to know what the little things add up to be... so if you know what you need to burn off you can choose a 1 or 2 of the bigger burners or a couple of the smaller burners...
Well missing my DP a lot more then i expected to.... the kids are stressing me out cos there missing him and DS is feral at the best of times and with DP not here he's a freakin nitemare.... so i had a bad day yesterday i got the excercise right but had a slice of cake (chocolate) 2 cadbury "fury friend" choccies and dinner was a stirfry with rice... (not too bad shouldnt have had the rice) but after dinner i had a cuppa with some biccies too...
Today wasnt much better unless shopping for an hour counts as excercise?? I did do some cleaning which was better then nothing but still no walking or Wii...I had cherios for breakie, lite ham and salad roll (lettuce, tomato, cuccumber, grated carrot) country grain roll from bakers delite...... Dinner i just had a salad.... if i'm hungry later i brought plenty of fresh fruit... YUMM... DP comes home tomorrow arvo YAY so hopefully after that i'll be able to get out alone and get some fast paced walking in....

Oh someone asked how many calories burned during sex i found out its like 4-5 per minute... another website lets you put in foreplay and actual intercourse times and it works out how many calories... so i tried 176 pounds (80 Kgs) with 30 mins of foreplay and 30 minutes of intercouse and its 58 during foreplay and 169 during intercourse...

I did not realise that I would not be included because I am only going to send in my measurements every 4 weeksIf I had known that I would have sent them, as now I no longer feel like part of this thread challange.
Either way I am going to continue with my lifestyle change as I have 7 weeks and 2 days until my weddingmy lose over the last week was 1.3kgs and 7cms. I am happy with that and I am still really motivated within myself to continue.

For those who havent been added to the 1st post dont dispair you are all still part of the challange and should feel good about being on the road to a healthy life... we all need support during tyhis time and like someone mentioned its not a competition, there is no prize except victory for yourselves... Hang in there we can all do it... just dont give up and do it for yourselves...

Lol I've not increased my water intake by too much (I drink a far bit of water anyway) but I cannot stop visiting the toilet... mmm I am in a TWW - fingers crossed this is a sign...

Daintree- whens the big day? My best friend gets married on MY wedding ann at the end of feb. I really want to lose a bit of weight by then but scared my dress will be huge on me. Oh well i'd rather a big dress and have to get it taken in then to be the fat bridesmaid. The bride and other 2 bridesmaids are all size 8's
Did very poorly in the exercise dept today but DD1 is in DC tomo so will def get some ME time. I did eat very well though. 2L of water, breakie was low GI sustain cereal with skim milk, lunch was sushi, dinner was chicken and salad. No snacks today was way too hot.
I am getting loads of headaches but thought by now my body would be over the shock of changing my eating habits. Is anyone else in the same boat? I thought they were sugar cravings or even caffeine as i have cut out soft drink etc. Just want them to go away.
can you drink too much water? i love it and can't get enough. had 15 glasses yesterday so that is 4.1L. that is too much isn't it? i had two small glasses of wine last night which was lovely having a treat (man i love WW!) and just replaced it with a few glasses of water. does anyone know?
i normally just stick to 3L a day but yesterday was too much i reckon!

But needless to say, I would always prefer it is you asked me nicely about such things, via pm or email, rather than whining on the forum. You will find it is a much more gracious and effective approach. I spent nearly half of my only day off in a fortnight on this yesterday, and whilst I do not expect gratitude, I also don't like petulance.
I am sure you can appreciate where I am coming from..........

I was not wining, just making a comment that I did not realise that was a condtion to the of this body transformation challenge. I do appreciate the hard work you have put in Lucy but I also would have liked it if you did not highlight me as a winger on the forum like this. Thanks anyway but from this comment I am out! I will do this on my own as originally planned.
I had a really emotional day yesterday and then to find that I was not on the list after making alot of contribution made me feel a little left out. I'm sorry if it had sounded rude or that I was not grateful as this in not how it was meant to come across at all.

I don't mind not getting posted - so far I am only going off weight loss (still don't have a tape measure!!). I am here for the support and advice and to offer what I can as well. It's a great motivator to be in here with all of you!
I had a challenging day yesterday! Not only did I go out for a work lunch, but DH then took me out for dinner!! Gosh it was hard! I ended up having a chicken ceasar wrap for lunch (can't imagine it was overly healthy - it had crumbed chicken and lots of ceasar dressing!) and then I had a Thai Beef Salad for dinner. Not the most satisfying of meals but I think I coped ok! We were out late but I still made DH come for a walk with me at 10.30pm! It was only a 15 minute walk but exercise all the same!
Girls, I am taking a day off BB today to spend some lovely time with Olivia, Charlie and Lexie, so I will chat more tomorrow..........enjoy a healthy day everyone........

I have had a great night/day. Although my dinner wasn't so great! I was going to cook pork for idnner and when I put the meat into the pan to cook the most foul smell eminated from it....it was off even though I'd only brought it that day! So we ended up just having the roast pumpkin,potato, sweet potato, carrot and I cooked some extra beans, corn and peas. I didn't mind it, I like my veggies, but DH wasn't so impressed, LOL! But other than that I ate well and exercised! This morning is going well so far too, though no early morning exercise like I was aiming for. But I'll do it soon, it's quite a cool day so no worries about the weather and exercising.

Gosh i had a shocking day yesterday..... and i do mean SHOCKING..... i had 4(YES 4) Krispy kreme doughnuts, then a slice of teramazu (sp?) scroll... and 2 forero roche's... the rest of the day i ate pretty healthy..... i cant believe i pig'd out like that![]()
Tho today is a brand new dayand i wont be doing that again
Oh ETA: to make things worse i havent been to the gym since wednesday.... my legs are killing me... i cant even walk all thanks to my body pump class... am planning to go tomorrow tho

I must have my appetite back! Does anyone have any suggestions on healthy snacks I can have when I feel like this mid-morning/afternoon?
I'm chugging down the water but my tummy is grumbling in protest!
Amy do u go on the Calorie king website??? They have a huge list of low Cal snacks.... i copied the list ... if u want i can email it to u???
Congrats to everyone on their weight loss and commitment to new healthy lifestyle. It is so nice to be able to share something that is a personal journey with others who are headed down the same road.
I had PT session #3 this morning, it was a kickboxing session and Oh my was it hard work- but I came away feeling very invigorated and motivated. I think I am very quickly going to become addicted to them- really looking forward to seeing the results of my hard work in weight loss, cm's lost but also in the improvement of my fitness.
I hope everyone continues with the motivation for week #2!
