Queenbee - I'm not officially on WW, but using my mil's old books. I have a 22 point limit right now, but only seem to eat between 18 and 20! It really makes you think what to eat and what not to eat! I lost 8kg on it last year, then hit a plateau and kinda stopped. I'm planning to lose heaps this time round and stick to it.

I did get the fried rice recipe from the WW mag, tried it out (the single serve one) and thought it was delicious and good in points enough to share!

I didn't get my walk in yet, but will this afternoon ! Hopefully I can drag dh for the walk too! When I went out yesterday he and his friend went for a walk with ds. Wont walk with me, but will walk with someone else!

Hmm it was a bit heavier than wine...

Vodka and Cranberry and Jager and Redbull (and lots of it )

Really not feeling up to any exercise today but I am one determined chick so I'm just going to do it even if it kills me!!!

Can anyone tell me how bad alcohol is when you're watching calories????
Hate to break it to you, but it is BAD, lol!

The actual calories are not that bad, although the mixers are bad.

The problem is is that your body will always use the calories from alcohol first. So if you have had a big night, all of your energy needs are taken from the alcohol intake, and the calories that you have eaten in food go more or less straight to body fat as they are not burned off, as the body has plenty of alcohol to burn off first...........make sense?!

.....not to mention the fact that after you have had a few drinks you are more likely to lose your inhibitions and think "what the hell, a few more peanuts/chips/chocolates/kebabs won't hurt" LOL!!!

I'm falling off the wagon, went out and split wood, then came in and ate a packet of twisties, on top of the Mac Donalds brekky????p I feel really depressed at the moment. I just hope I can dust myslef off and start afresh tomorrow.

Oopsie - well I guess I can admit that I fell off the wagon for a night then!!

Last night ended up being quite random. I meant to only stay out for an hour for drinks but it turned into a 2am job! And because of the timing and me not going home for dinner, I didn't actually eat anything last night (and I only had a salad for lunch) so the alcohol went straight to my head. No peanuts/chips/kebabs in sight during my bender either!! I did dance HEAPS though.. so at least I can say I did some exercise last night!!

I'm feeling so sluggish and bleh today

Won't be doing it again in a hurry!!

Don't beat yourself up to much girls. We are still only in the second week and it can be so hard to change old habits. I had a bad night last night too, but I got up this morning determined to do better (despite having a bad day). I find that my slip ups are now further apart so I guess that's an improvement. We can do this!!!
