Ohhh yum Ginger, I want vegie pizzas.

We're having steak and salad over here. No walking for me today, but I've been running around like a mad woman anyway, shopping and getting stuff ready for the weekend. Made DH's cake and refrained...only one spoonful of cake mixture

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

ETA - Great stuff Pandora! Well done

    Hi Ginger! Welcome

pandora, that is awesome about your 2kgs!!!

ZF, i would love it if i had lost 5kgs, but unfortunately its only 1.5kgs...

I am making very thin sliced beef with vermicelli noodles in a ginger, garlic, soy, and sesame oil marinade. Veges are baby corn, water chestnuts, snow peas, broccoli, carrott and bamboo shoots. I am then off to pilates and zumba, i am dragging my mum along tonight as i just found out she has been paying for a membership to my gym for the last two years and not actually going!

My challenge for the week is going to be no mcdonalds! Last week i actually had it 4 days in a row, i have no idea how i managed to lose 1.5kgs whilst eating like that, it is a good thing i do so much exercise!

Well, i was just about to complete crack it and go mental at everyone, but i looked up and found that both of the kids are sound asleep! DD bolt upright whilst watching iggle piggle and DS on my boob. Its been a long day, we were at the swimming pool for most of the day and i guess they are both worn out... Good thing tonight is DF's night to put them to bed and i won't be home till 10

Still waiting on a few updates, if they are not in tomorrow i will put up what i have.
    Hope everyone is doing well.

DP got on the scales tonight and well lets just say he can keep his mouth SHUT.. he weighs over 30kg more than i do, we are the same height and both BIG builds and yes he is a man but the next comment about my weight is being thrown back in his face.
According to the scales i was 99 BUT i have been weighing myself in the morning and naked, today i was fully clothed right after dinner so i told him ner ner..

I CAN and i WILL do this ON MY OWN with the help of my gorgeous BB friends, i DO NOT need his approval or support, i am doing this for ME and i WILL do this...

    SOMETHING NEW

Am off to the library today and i am thinking i might just take a look at their exercise DVD's and try and do 20min of exercise off a DVD every day for a week... what do you think?
If there is a choice (not sure there will be a lot) what would be the best kind?
PacRakMG - at some stage could i by chance borrow one of your Zumba DVD's - Ava would love dancing around with me

I think that's a great idea! I reckon just have look at what they have on offer and then decide. See what you fancy! You can always swap it over the week after! That way it never gets old! Have fun!!

yay..go ZF!! You know we are all behind you
DF told me a few weeks ago that I had "let myself go" since DD was born...gosh that made me sooo mad!! you know, sorry i never get time to exercise by myself because I ALWAYS have DD, and yep I don't get a lot of time to preen myself in front of the mirror, it's all I can do somedays to have a 5 min shower! thing is he is like a stick, smokes and eats crap all the time...but I think I've done well, he eats maccas, kfc etc probably at least 3-4 times/week and I haven't had any for a while now, and don't even feel like eating it!
Even with chocolate I was a shocker eating it at least every day and buying a block once or twice a week. It was hard to stop at first but I haven't bought any for a few weeks now and havent had many cravings for it (once I got over the initial *must have chocolate* cravings!).

I made some muffins with DD yesterday, banana & apple. They have no sugar in them so would be good for a snack. I posted the recipe on here a while ago so will see if I can dig it out.

    ETA: here it is: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ns-139150.html
does have half a cup of oil but I only used about 3/4 of half a cup yesterday and they turned out ok, so you could probably only use 1/4 cup and just add a bit more milk.

I've had another rubbish-ish week, but am back my last lowest weight. So although their won't be a loss this week, there will not be a gain either and I am happy with that

And if I get a place in uni (find out in 2 hours 44 mins) I will be having a celebratory dinner and lots of alcohol tonight, never mind the scales woo hoo!

ZF You are so focused, and I know you will lose all your weight. Sometimes someone else not believing we can do it is the best motivation we can have

ss_storm, don't you just want to kick them in the face damn men, has he put on weight lately?? next time i'd say hey hun your looking a little round in the middle!
Well done on the no take away and the less chocolate.. little steps can take you a very long way... feels like heel at the start but well worth it.

One hour and ten to go Traveller, how exciting!! Come in and let us know if you get the place What are you hoping to get into??

ZF- good work on putting the exercise in! Let us know if the dvd is any good! I was going to recommend the 30 day shred, i have it but have not tried it out yet as never seem to get a chance without kids around, or DF there making me feel self conscious! Wow, 30kgs more than you- definitely throw it back in his face!

SS_storm- i am so incredibly mad at your DH on your behalf! What an insensitive thing to say!! Grrrr to him, i WISH i could spend 5 mins getting myself together in the morning on my own, or go shopping on my own for nice clothes that are flattering (rather than my usual smash and grab approach whilst both kids whinge!), and i would KILL for 20 mins to straighten my hair and put some makeup on, but at this stage of my life i think its probably a bit more important that my kids get their breakfast, are clean and happily playing... I love your muffin recipe, i will give it a try! DD is not so much into eating muffins unfortunately, but she does love the baking part!

AFM- i am aching after my first new work out this morning, and i only got just over half done! I am so scattered at the moment i actually turned up at the gym without my shoes! Lost half an hour to go home and get them... Last nights zumba and pilates classes were good, my mum had a good time too which was nice! DF and i are fighting so much at the moment, and my eating is just completely out of control! I did manage to bypass macca's on my way home today though, but i really need to find some ways to calm myself down which don't include eating, any suggestions?? I

Still eat but maybe find things that taste nice but are a little more healthy.. special K bars, dark chocolate instead of milk, have a 'secret' stash of naughty but nice food just for you, make your own icypoles - i've just put some in the freezer for the girls, pear, watermelon & mango.
    Sorbet maybe???

Oh no Traveller! How disappointing Do you think there is any chance of a late round offer? What course was it? Maybe lots of people will defer for this year?

I was applying for nursing/midwifery and this was the early round offers. The first round offers (confused, yeah me too) are in January and second round in February. I still have nursing as a second choice so fingers crossed for that.

See this is my problem, I am upset so I will drown myself in food. I know all the rules, I can stop eating too much and exercise, but as soon as something happens (time of the month or something like this) I eat and eat and eat and then I feel worse, like I have sabotaged by own weight goal.

When i was applying for uni, an early round offer was pretty rare so i really hope thats the case for you here and you are getting a first round offer in Jan. Fingers crossed for you! This is the same reason i was looking for other ways to calm myself down, i am exactly the same unfortunately and will turn to food first! Midwifery is my goal as well so i know how upset you must be, i didn't end up applying for this year though as i decided to wait until i am 30 and make sure i still really really want to do it (seeing as i have only just finished 8 years at uni its a bit of a waste to go back and start again in a new career!).
