Some nice losses there!!! I'm impressed that I did better than I thought and I wasn't really trying that much - scary thought as to what might happen if I really did try .

Awesome job!!! Oh, and incase anyone is wondering why my measurements aren't there - DH is from the old school weight loss where you only measure yourself once a month. So I'm happy to go along with him. Oh, plus the kids lost my measuring tape so I don't have a choice anyway.. lol

Gym again tomorrow - can't wait. Not sure what we are going to do, but definitely have to do something Even though my muscles are caning so much that I can barely move at the moment...

I promise to keep up with this thread this week!

Massive congrats to everyone. You are all doing so incredibly well. Here's to another great week. My results arent up there yet but only jsut sent them in.

I am now off work for the week with a sick DD but am going to take this time (when I should be at work) to take her out for fresh air walking.

I have been trying to do as much incidental exercise I can.

ie. carrying DD alot, dancing in the house and chest presssing DD in the air, crawling around the house hiding from her. walking around the shops at a good pace heaps.

Def need to amp it up this week though with proper exercise.

ETA- Maz- I might be getting a bike trailer for DD!! I showed DP and he loves the idea so it might be my mothers day present as my mothers day wish is to have more family time. YAY if I get it. I have bike trailer envy when I see yours!

Awesome work everyone!!! We all deserve a big pat on the back!

Yup, I'm at the gym tomorrow with Mel Looking forward to it!

Just came back from going out for tea... It was soooo hard to restrain myself, but I think I did okay. It was a pizza place, and I ordered a roasted pumpkin pizza (the pizzas are about the size of a dinner plate), and I had all but 3 slices. DH had one, DS had one and another woman at the dinner had one. I also restricted myself to one glass of coke. So, hopefully not too much damage done. Hopefully I can work it all off and then some at the gym tomorrow!

Overall I'm feeling so, so good about my weight loss journey! In the past when I've tried to lose weight I think I knew deep down that I wasn't really trying. But this time I feel so good and so determined! I will be thin - I will be as hot as my avvy!

Congratulations again everyone on your great losses!

    Re: BB Challenge Week Two!

Wow this thread is moving fast! Have been eating quite well the last couple of days and I'm finding my chocolate and sugar cravings have lessened. Have been eating lots of fruit and cooking up a storm in my slow cooker and getting my veggies in that way although could do with some more. No formal exercise today, just some housework, bit of gardening and playing with DS in the backyard.

Soccer training was awesome tonight! Calf went fine. It hurts more when I walk than anything else funnily enough! Am about to go have a nice vege burger for dinner - 'eatwell' vege patty, pickle, salad, tomato sauce and low fat mayo, on toasted turkish bread. Yum yum! Plus a peppermint tea.

Well, I am being super-dooper good today, lol!

Have eaten well all day, just got back from an hour walk with a friend, and tonight am off to the gym for half an hour work out, and half hour swim/sauna!
Probably over-doing it really, but I don't do it every day.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

I got back on the bike today....wasnt as hard as the other day but I was pushing myself. eg when the tops of my legs were burning I would tell myself just get to the next light pole..then when I got there I would try and push myself to get to the next one.

Litte sore for it now but feeling good

    hope everyone is working hard

    Woohoo, go Maz!!! Great work!

Forgot to mention - I got my first mention/compliment on my weight loss today. A friend I hadn't seen for a few weeks visited today and we got talking about me joining a gym, etc. She said she'd noticed that I'd lost weight! It's always nice when people notice after all the hard work you've put in

    BB Challenge Week Two!

Mel, sterla - the cross trainer is fantastic. It's low impact and once you get used to it, it's easy to do with no hands. I often read a book or browse BB & FB on my iPhone while doing it

Dragoncookie, lilias - well done on the loss

Had a small loss again this week, haven't done measurements yet but I'm hoping for a loss there too as my jeans are feeling looser.

Eluned, do you ever get numbness in your feet from your cross trainer/elliptical?
DH has done a fair bit of research on them as we were considering on buying one, and he found people talking about after longish sessions on their trainer (30mins plus) they would get numbness in their feet.
Apparently its from the distance the feet are apart (the closer the better) and also if the foot pedals are flat or inclined (inclined was better).
the more expensive the trainer the less often numbness was experienced too.
So have you ever had any numbness?
