Hi guys! Thanks for all the wt updates I have gotten so far
Having a bit of a craving day today. Hope I can nip it in the bud this afternoon with a good jog. Didn't do any exercise yesterday as I felt a bit fluey but that seems to have passed. If it rains this afternoon I will jump on the exercise bike instead. Hoping to do 5km this afternoon and see what time I make.
Eating is ok. Indulged a bit at lunch with a toasted turkish bread sandwich with fake chicken strips (tastes a bit kfc like but vegetarian and not nearly the same amount of fat), low fat mayo, olives, and salad. Was very delish! Am off to have a coffee to try and motivate myself to actually do some work.
    Take care all!

Hollo: Yes, I do have a very sore bottom - right where the seat dug in! I thought with all my extra padding it would be alright, lol. My muscles aren't sore yet, just my butt feels bruised!

Arghhh! Am seriously craving something bad for me tonight, and every healthy alternative I can think of isn't anywhere near as appealing. I won't mention what I'm craving specifically, cause it will put ideas in all your heads, lol.

    Stoked - woo hoo! Congratulations! Wishing you a H & H pregnancy

Sterla - I find putting anything in your mouth can help. Peppermint tea is good for me as are lollies that I have to suck (e.g. chupa chup or boiled lolly). The cravings do pass though. Otherwise portion whatever you have out so you don't totally regret in the morning. For some reason exercise also helps me so sometimes I will stretch and do some yoga in front of the tv. It reminds me how much healthier I am now. Hope this helps!

Hi Eluned - I did mine at Zest in Joondalup, I loved it and yes I did think the same "whale theory" as well lol. I missed it when I finished, I used to love getting in the warm water with my big belly.

Hi Everyone - will be interesting to see my weight loss this week, I've done hardly any exercise (other than the usual walking here and there) but I have been dealing with a sick baby all week and then sick myself Friday - didn't eat much and AF has gone now so I should see at least some results! I still ate well.

Can't remember who mentioned it but it's important to weigh at the same time every day, the best time for your true weight is first thing in the morning, before breakfast and preferably after the loo - all these tips I picked up at Weight Watchers years ago. A poo can add up to 500 grams you know and AF up to 1-2 kgs depending on how you carry fluid. Clothes weigh a bit too, I usually weigh in just my summer dressing gown, it's very light. But as long as you weigh in the same thing every week at the same time you'll get the most accurate result and yes, measuring is best, sometimes you tone up so don't necessarily drop kgs but lose the cms!

Looking forward to seeing our results in the next day or two girls!!! xx

if you are not loosing kg but toning up how long til you loose the kg? know what i mean? cause even though i am (hopefully) toning up i am still 10 or so kg overweight!

I would think you would see some weight results next week if you do the same amount and type of exercise. But I am only basing that on what seems to happen to me.

Hi everyone! Well last night I went on the exercise bike as by the time I got to it it was getting dark. But I worked up a pretty good sweat and feel like I could have kept riding so next time I jump on the bike I will add an extra 5 mins on. This morning I went for a 5km jog and was happy because I was able to know exactly how far I went in what time - 5km in 30 mins - so now I have something to beat. Before I was just guessing so had trouble improving it. Unfort on the way home DH got me an almond croissant but I was good and cut it into thirds to share. It is one of my most favourite foods but I am glad I didn't eat it all.
Anyway it is a bit quiet in here so hope you are all doing well!

Week three seems to be the week that people find hard to keep going. So if you are push through it to the other side and it will get easier again. What are your goals for the next week?
Mine are to do another 5km jog, soccer (one training plus one game) and one exercise video. Count my calories Mon-Fri at least and take a multi-vit every day.

Krys, will we be starting a new thread, or just keep going with this one? It's not as big as the last thread, lol! Everyone is getting quiet!

Well, I did atrociously yesterday. DH and I took the kids to a fair thing at Gosford and there wasn't any healthy food to eat for lunch. Then once I had eaten a hot dog for lunch I had a hankering for more grotty junky food, and ate a few of the kids chips, nuggets and some of DH battered sav. AF is due in less than a week and I get terrible cravings for junk and sugar. It's something I need to learn to deal with. And then we went to Sizzlers for dinner, OMG yum!!! And although I had lots of plain veggies and salad, I had garlic prawns and then dessert. And just ate wayyy too much! And didn't feel so great afterwards! We did walk alot yesterday and I was pushing the pram on gravel....not fun!! But it worked my butt and I can feel it in my upper thighs and bum today!

Today is another day and I will start again (AGAIN!) and keep going. Lucky I weighed in early yesterday morning or I would have been 3kg heavier, lol! Going for a walk this arvo and I am going to be doing some heaving cleaning in preparation for us to move in a few weeks (like scrubbing grout and tiles and cleanig light fittings and vertical blinds!...should be fun, NOT!)
I hope everyone is doing better than me!

ETA: Oh! goals for the week:

Exercise every second day try to add in some yoga DVD's too
Be more prepared for outings- take healthy food rather than hoping there's something healthy there and ending up eating junk!

Well, I actually managed to fight off my craving last night. I ended up having a few chick pea chip things (they're yummy, good for you and don't do too much damage) and a low fat/low kj hot chocolate. Glad I didn't cave, I would have felt so guilty this morning!

Krysalyss: Thanks for those tips last night - I think I waited long enough and the craving kind of passed, or lost its urgency at least. Sounds like you are going so well with your exercise!
Can't wait to see everyone's results this week

Lilias: Try not to feel discouraged. Just think, one 'bad' day isn't going to undo everything

My goal for this week? Not sure... To work on my abs (I think they're under all the flab somewhere, lol)

Morning everyone!!! My butt is sooooo sore from RPM yesterday, I can barely sit down on anything .. hahaha!!!!! All worth it I suppose.

I didn't eat particularly well yesterday, had probably too many choc chip biscuits that I made myself, but damn, they were yummy!!! haha!!!!

Just put DS in the sling on my back and the two girls in the pram and heaved my way up to the post office - woot - two parcels, makes the trip worth it then.. haha!!!

Goals for this week - umm.. not as many choc chip cookies - more fruit - and MORE WATER!! I'm exercising nearly every day so can't really improve on that one.

Morning! Week 3 here we come!

Can't wait to see everyone's results

Krys - Thanks for that tip about Week 3. Hopefully everyone will keep posting and supporting each other through this week. WTG with the jog and the exercise bike, it's great that you have something to beat next time.

Lilias - Sorry to hear you had such a bad day yesterday. AF coming and cravings makes it extra hard. Mostly to help with cravings I try to keep busy so I'm not thinking about food all the time and I make sure I'm not thirsty or hungry. It's hard when you're somewhere with no healthy options. But you have the rest of the week to make up for it.

Mel - Hope that walk to the PO helped your sore butt! You're going great

Kym - That solves the mystery of the extra cms! Congrats again!

Alison - Don't worry, after the week you had last week, this week will be a breeze.

Sterla - I admire your strength! Sounds like you've found a healthy alternative to satisfy your cravings.

Hollo - Keep at it and I hope you'll see better results this week.

Maz - Maybe you should avoid dresses this week! But seriously, hope you're feeling better soon. You're doing well in spite of Hungry Jacks and AF.

Good luck for Week 3 everyone!

I had a better week this week. Am BFing so don't want to lose too much weight too quickly, but I figure 2.2kg is OK. I noticed that my bust is much smaller at night than the next morning 2.5cm difference, so I'm using the morning measurement for consistency. My hip measurement hasn't changed at all since the start of the challenge. Managed to exercise for 30 mins every day except yesterday. Homemade Minestrone for lunch today, with wholemeal pasta! Yum!
Goals for this week: Exercise 7 days instead of 6. Work on muscle tone and my butt.

I've bummed out again this week with Parties etc and stress with my Ex DDs father causing a nightmare for us. But I plan on jumping back on the Bandwagon now. A nd my stupid Gym keeps changing their opening hours and the 2 only times I went there last week they were closed when they were suppose to be opened. Grrr
Any how krysalyss no change for me but hopefully next week there is even if its just .5 of a kilo.
