Hi Girls, wow this is weird, but great lol!

I weighed in this morning, ba bowwwwwwww, not good for me. I've put on 300 grams this week, I expected it thought to be honest as I was naughty last week with the choccy and had pizza Friday night and then Thai last night. Back on the wagon as of tomorrow though.........still lost 1cm off my waist and 1cm off my hips so not all bad news. It's depressing putting it back on though huh.

So, did everyone have a great Mummy's Day? I had my first one today, was so special - DH wrote in the card with his left hand to make it look like Amelia wrote in the card, so cute.

    Hi Girls!

Hope everyone had a happy Mother's Day

My boys took me out for breakfast so I checked out calorie/fat counts for various cooked brekkies on Calorie King before we left. Good thing I did! Normally I'd have Eggs Benedict but I ended up having a vegetarian breakfast: poached eggs, cooked english spinach, button mushrooms and tomato on italian bread, minus the hollandaise sauce that came with it on the menu. Dinner tonight was chicken and ricotta lasagne (very yum!).

Weigh in day is Monday for me. I've been fairly good this week. Again I exercised 6 days out of 7, but I tried to do more than 30 minutes each day. And Friday night was bad, we had Turkish Pide while watching the footy, which was our first takeaway dinner since starting the challenge. I was going to make calzone, but was too tired.

Alison - Don't worry hun, tomorrow's the start of a new week. Good thing we have the measurements as well, otherwise you'd only see the weight gain and not the cm loss.

My weekend was a right off. I have lost a little weight, but I have gained a few cm's in my hips'tummy I think because AF is on her way. I bloat and retain water badly! Prepared to refocus tomorrow though! I HAVE to start exercising properly!!!

I indulged a bit too much this weekend although managed to lose 200grams which is double what I've lost the previous two weeks! Anyway, woke up to DH & DS cooking me breakfast - a kind of scrambled omelette that had bacon, cheese and spinach in it. It was very yum! Didn't really eat any lunch as we had afternoon tea at MIL's sisters house. Had a few naughty treats like little cheesecakes, the most delish party pies, apple cake and scones...it was yummy. I had the plate of cheesecakes sitting right in front of me and I only had 2 of them so I resisted the urge to eat many more! That was difficult! So for dinner we just had some soup. Got to do my measurements now.

argh...just typed a huge reply, pressed hte wrong button
long story short lost 1.9kgs this week (nearly fell off the scales)
but it's DD's birthday today so having had various celebrations all weekend, my food choices have been very average.
Was going to get on Wii tonight to make up for a bit, but the littlest ratbag took over 3 hours to go to sleep and I just couldn't be bothered...would rather spend the last few minutes today on me.....

Hi guys! Wow it is weird with the new forum. Will get used to it I suppose.
Well have had quite a bad weekend (glad I weigh in Saturdays! he he). But today will be getting back to normal. Really want to do two good jogs this week plus soccer and one other thing - maybe aerobics. Absolutely want to carve another cm off this tummy of mine and I know I can do it!
Well we are almost at the end of the first month. Is everyone going to continue on? We have had a few disappear so I do want to congratulate everyone who is still keen and committed to improving their health and gaining control of their eating habits. I know we can do it!

I think with Mother's Day we're all excused for being a little bit naughty! I had been reasonably good yesterday until I had my mum and sister over in the evening. I then had a glass and a half of wine, a couple of chocolates, and the worst bit - between the three of us we polished off an entire block of harvarti cheese!
But I'm not discouraged. I'm just going to be extra good this week, especially since it's DH's birthday next weekend and we're going out for tea. I figure I'll be really good all week, then have a guilt free dinner Friday night .

I weighed myself again this morning (did yesterday too), and there was an extra 300g missing! (must have been retaining some fluid the morning before?!?!) This means that I have now lost 10kg since I started trying to lose weight!!! It also means I am now what I was when I fell pregnant with DS. Big achievement - but still a long way to go. Still about 30kg to go...

Keep up the great work everyone - and bring on Week 4!

Woohooo Sterla thats awesome!!! So proud of you mate!!!!

For me, not so good, I didn't lose anything on the scales, but measured myself and have lost some so trying to not get discouraged about the scales lying to me!!!! Had a crappy weekend, KFC for dinner Saturday night, then croissants and chocolate yesterday (which I'm paying for today, my belly HATES chocolate, so its not been a good morning! Yukkoooo)

I'm going to be staying off BB for a while though, need to concentrate on my house, kids and weight loss, so I'll still be here in spirit but not actually in person (so to speak).

I'm sure Sterla will keep you up to date with what we have been doing though No hiding behind doors at the gym though

Lilias - you have my number if you want to text me !

Weighed in here and have lost 1.1kg and some more cms. I feel good that I was able to be a bit naughty and keep within my calorie budget.

Thanks for posting the snack ideas, very helpful.

Goals for this week: I've decided to focus more on my weight training. So it'll be, upper body, lower body, cardio, upper body, lower body, cardio and rest on Sunday. I also need to make sure I get enough sleep and drink enough water.

I hope no one drops out because of this week. Hang in there girls, it's nearly the end of the month!

    Cool Joining in!

    Hi girls,

I'd like to join this group! I started Dr Tim's diet yesterday (2 meal replacements (shake, bar or soup). I have about 17kgs to lose but have set myself a goal of 10kgs. If I lose 14kgs I will be at my weight I was when I got married 4.5 years ago.
I am on this diet to kick start my weight loss as I have PCOS (I know it's not the only reason I need to lose weight) and I am very unhappy with how I look an feel. I feel awful that in my daughter photo album there are hardly any pictures of her and me because I hate how I look in the photos with my double chin!!!!
Anyway I look forward to getting to know you all and giving and recieving encouragement for this journey. I am also starting aqua aerobics tonight so should be fun!!

Hey everyone, am going to join in if thats ok.. have been quite ashamed of myself as i lost over 6kgs in the first 6wks after DD2 was born and have managed to put them all back on again am hoping to get fit, trim and healthy for my girls... starting with my eating so would love to get some tips.

I don't have a tape measure so can't do my measurements, and to be honest wouldn't know what points to do them at anyway... so am just going to do the KG's... hopefully i can see a loss somewhere.

Hello! Just a quick one from me (I'm at work and shouldn't be on the net lol) I have been a bit out of it this week... I had a bad week - got a cold so didn't do much excersize (only went to the gym once). Eating was not good but not bad. not expecting a loss this week... but will still measure/weigh and see. Hopefully this week I will be able to go to the gym properly! And I will get my butt into gear and post more so I stay motivated.

    Good work everyone

    Hi Girls!

Well done Natty, you're doing so well, keep me motivated in our other thread won't you!

Welcome Zarava Flutterby, we're all in the same boat so join on in, we'll all be yummy mummy's before we know it!

Hi Sibbie - don't worry mate, I had a bad week too - too many choccies and pizza Friday night and Thai Saturday night, followed by pumpkin scones for Mother's Day, woops! I put on 300 grams but lost 1cm off my hips and 1cm off my waist. Still disappointed in the gain though, back on the horse as they say!

not been a good week for me - put on about 1kg (I think) and I'm sure I put on cms too Really don't think my mind's in the right mindset to lose weight atm but will see how I go for a bit longer (as long as I don't go over 92kg I'm happier - would be nice to be under 90kg which would mean I'd be under pre-preg weight.)

I won't be weighing in this week unless I can get to the gym - I was meant to weigh in this morning when I take swimming but my classes were cancelled so I didn't get to use the scales
