limit of 136?? I thought it was 150kg. DH gets on it fine and he is in the 140's. We have the original board, not sure if that makes a difference.

Weighed this morning - back to 84.5kg. Really need to break the mid 80's. Harder to weigh now it is colder (nudie weigh-in), don't think I want to be getting up early doing yoga in our freezing cold lounge room.

Welcome everybody who has recently joined

    Yah for everybody's losses

I've been slack and not in here.

I'm still loosing weight, as to how much, I have no idea, I need new batteries for my scales at home. I now think I'm about 4kgs away from the weight I was at the end of my 20s. Once I hit that, time to set another goal.

I've been bad with my food, contemplating the 5 day breakfast/lunch lite'n'easy for work, so at least I know I'm eating, it is too easy to miss meals.

I'm going to gym at least 3 times a week. I still look in the mirror and see the bulges, yet I have people raving about how good I'm looking. Need to change headspace again.

Changing jobs at the end of this week, the contact I'm hoping for means I can walk home in the afternoons, but will have to find a new gym.

If I was single, I would probably do Lite 'n'Easy. An old acquaintance of mine lots heaps of weight by eating Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice meals of an evening. It was a great way for her to portion control.

Great with continuing to lose weight Sopdet.

Ok, huge confession/realisation time. There is a major part of me that is scared of losing weight. I think part of it is the success thing and maybe the other part is the reminders of my early life. I had a great time when thinner and had a lot of boys after me Another part is the realisation of how I am going to have to eat for the rest of my life, that these changes are permanent, other there is not much point in me going through it (sorry rambling, but I am trying to get to the root of my fear). I want to be thinner/healthier/hot, but there is something so comfortable about where I am now.

Hey everyone! Sorry I am so slack keeping up in here. I have now lost 15kg, and as a way to try and keep myself motivated I have posted a weight loss album on FB (though only locked to BB peeps - not quite brave enough to share my starting weight with the whole world yet!) So, here it is:

    https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=a62c859ae6

I'd still like to lose another 20-25kg yet, so a way to go yet.

    Sterla - Ooh, you're a hottie!

Sopdet - Professor and I were on Lite'n'Easy for a while, we loved it! It wasn't even for weight loss, it was just easier to have all the meals ready to go when we were both working fulltime. We found that we both lost weight though, purely through the food, no exercise at all. The dinners were a bit bland, but the breakfasts and lunches were AWESOME!

Astrid - I kinda know how you feel, being overweight can feel 'safe'. After being assaulted when I was a teenager, I'm kind of afraid of being skinny again. People tell me 'you have such a pretty face!' that I'm worried about being skinny. Fears about my health are slowly overtaking fears about my looks though

I wasn't going to do it for the dinners, I loathe the dinners. I was on it for convenience years ago, when I was working 16 hour days, unsure about weight loss at that time because I never owned scales & it has to be a pretty dramatic weight loss for me to drop a size (even now).

    Mind if I join in?
My tiny girl is 9weeks old already, but her pregnancy added over 20kgs. 10 went in fluid, but I've still got 10 to go. I was quite fit before but had to stop gymming it during preg due to my history.
I dragged out my tub of non-maternity clothes - not one thing fits. Luckily summer is dragging forever here and I can wear my mat stuff a bit longer, but I have no long pants that fit and I'll be buggered if I'm buying more.
I've gone back to the gym today (OMG!!) and back onto calorie king. I'm trying to eat more protein.
I know what I should eat. I've been battling it since my teens. But I'm here by myself with the kids....sometimes it's all too hard. Especially with a clingon bub.
I plan to do at least 3 classes a week. Step is my favourite. Once I've made that routine I'll add in walking Darcy to school on the days I don't gym it and Wii Active sports....just need to get Holly to sleep longer than 3 minutes.
You all seem so positive, I'm hoping it rubs off a bit.

    Hey again all.

I'm jumping on the wagon again. With the birth of DD and breastfeeding stopped now, I really can eat how I lost weight before falling Pregnant. Low carb diet, lots of water and lots of exercise.

I want to be a size 10 to 12 (probably small size 12,realistically speaking...) I am a size 14 to 16 now. My goal is for next year ... It was originally for dds birthday, but that's coming up fast, too fast.

Welcome to Kim and hi again to Lysndan!

Well, I have managed to lose a kg this week. I have been focusing on not eating at night, and drinking lots of water or green tea. Only those two things. I figured if I do some small things every few weeks, eventually it will add up to be big.
Tomorrow we go to visit family for 3wks, so I am praying I at least don't gain weight, but would ideally like to also continue to slowly lose some. After we get back though I will have a great goal to focus on which is a friends wedding up in far north Qld. I will be going child free for the first time in 5yrs! It is at the end of July, so I have a good 3 1/2mths to go. I am so excited and I would really love to lose 10-ish kg before hand so I ahve to get off my butt, stop the excuses and JUST DO IT!

How much water are you drinking hun? And what time do you stop eating at night?

My main problem is my DH. He's constantly eating crap... It's all through the house. As of next week, we aren't going to have much in here. We will be cutting down. I've told him I don't feel attractive. I don't think he does either.

I try to stop with dinner, but if I am still hungry I will have a yogurt at 7 and that is it, we eat dinner early because of the kids, so it's usually 5-5.30 we are having our meal, and trying to hang out until 10-11pm, it's just too long without food! But I do find if I have a good meal with good protiens (meat/fish/chicken) and fats (olive oil/avocado/nuts/seeds) in it, sometimes I can not eat til morning without being hungry. Water, I try to have at least 2ltrs a day, plus I will have 2-4 cups of green tea, so all up about 2 1/2- 3 litres I guess.

I wouldn't be able to cope with junk in the house either. We just don't buy it. If it's here I eat it. I have no self control and I am a terrible emotional and boredom eater. No bickies, chocolate, chips, cakes.....nothing to tempt me. Hopefully just until I can control myself and make the right choices, but for now, if I need a junky fix, I have to go to a fair bit of effort to get it, so either I really want it and go and get it, or I talk myself out of it because I'm too lazy!

That's exactly why I can't have it in the house. I am an emotional eater too.

I am very fussy with food. And water.

I try not to eat carbs after 7pm .. We usually have our dinner around 6.30pm.

I'm going to try phase out sugars (unless it's natural sugar like found in fruits).I'm going to drink more water, not too keen on making too many changes yet.

Has anyone tried the weight loss wraps? You stick them on and you lose cms apparently! It helps with water retention. Since having dd I have a lot of!

I'm also looking at stretch mark gel which helps with scarring too. After my emergency c section, I had my gallbladder removed so I've got 4 scars quite prominent on my belly. And multiple stretch marks.

I haven't tried them but I know a couple people who have. Apparently you can't use them if you're breast feeding (not sure if you are) because the body releases toxins and such stored in the fats which goes into the milk.

The people whove tried them look great! I don't think any of the weight has come back and it's given them the kick start they needed!

OK back again for a quick post before swimming and kinder!!!

I don't know anyone who has done the weight wraps - I would think a lot would be fluid so might come back? I am a bit skeptical of anything other than it takes hard work to lose weight and any quick fixes for me have the capacity to work initially but then end up causing gain again? Don't know enough about them though I guess!

3LM - Good luck when you go away babe, maybe just set a few realistic goals for when you go - like I will walk 3 days a week, drink 2lts of water a day, no carbs for one meal a day, etc.
Kid free too hun!! How exciting, sure you will have a great time!!

Sopdet - For me it's about being in a comfort zone with what I eat - it's just so much easier to do what I have been doing but I KNOW I have to change or else I will get more and more depressed about my weight. Lite n Easy looks really great - a friend of mine did it for 6 weeks and lost a lot of weight and then she went off it and stabilised! Worked well for her to lose the initial weight she needed to lose. She said the food was yum too and there are so many choices. I would do it if we didn't have squids! Sounds like your body shape is changing but you haven't noticed it? or it's happened slowly and hard to see for you. Yay for comments from others though that is great!!

Keike - How did you go with the Wii - sorry I can't read back any further than this page!! Hope you are going well xox

Astrid - Maybe change your weigh in time to the evening before you get into bed?? If you do it at the same time each night it will be consistent??

Sterla - for your loss hun - totally noticeable in your photos, especially in your face hun!!!

Kim - Your plan sounds good hun -gosh 9 weeks is motivated!! Took me til JJ was 2 to do anything about my post baby weight even though a lot dropped off with b'fing initially!

To everyone I might have missed !!

AFM - I am plodding along and exercising quite a bit other than the days I work, but I just am physically exhausted by the time I get home - I teach PE and performing arts over 3 days - get to school before 8 and don't usually get home til somewhere between 4:30-6 and then make dinner, spend time with kids, and fall exhausted on the couch by 8.

I am eating ok but not ok enough to lose any weight over the last 2 weeks which is really frustrating me. There is still easter stuff here but I am sick of chocolate (never thought I would hear the day!) My day looks a bit like this - any suggestions would be amaze balls!

Brekky - coffee first thing, then either a bowl of Just Right, or nothing (ok I know this has to change and might be part of my problem!) sometimes toast, or an Up & Go.
Morning tea - at home nothing, at school yoghurt and a piece of fruit - HUGE problem is Wicked Wednesday - dim sims, quiches, cakes etc. and I have NO self control.
Lunch - At home, usually an egg omelette with vegies, a bit of bacon and cheese.
Afternoon - This is when I really crave something and usually end up eating rice cakes (are they ok do you think??!!) but I should be having some nuts and fruit
Dinner - We eat fairly well, meat/fish and veggies a few nights a week, spag bol, meatballs, chicken soup etc.....
I dont' really eat dessert but lately it's been the problem of many mini eggs once kids to go bed. Last night I had some yoghurt instead.

If I track it all it's usually around my 1280 cals a day - sometimes a wee bit over. Maybe I really need to track religiously ever thing that goes in my mouth - including weekends like when we had Nandos and I conveniently forget about it and wonder why Im not losing.

Sorry for the novel - just needed to get some stuff out so if you skip read I understand

Have a great day all - am planning to eat well today and do my full 60 mins Extreme Shred today while kids rest.

Cooooeeeee! There is an echo in here! Maybe I am a thread killer??

Well I will talk to myself for a second and all I am going to say is that I am sick of myself. Just no self control - not making good choices when we are out, lazy at night on weekends (Crust last night and no shift in weight even with exercise.

I am going to print off the CSIRO meal plan today and see if I can stick to something really strict with Dh who also needs to lose a few kgs. Our kids don't really eat salad though so might have to adapt and make things like rice and pasta to sit to the side of what they eat.

Hope everyone else is doing well!
