I'm off to a private rave tonight - so dancing will be my exercise. Then I'm off to MBS tomorrow and lots of walking there.

Might stand on the scales when I get to my brother's place on the weekend and check out if I've actually lost any weight, or if I've just toned up and lost inches.

SO.Hung.Over. Even post GTM and drinking for 12 hours I wasn't this bad. Went to the footy last night, helped my sister move yesterday so got lots of incidental exercise in up and down stairs carrying stuff. Ate pretty badly last night and today though - not even thinking about it and today is a right off because I needed maccas this morning NEEDED.

Public holiday tomorrow so am going for a run in the morning to work off this horrid food and alcohol.

Hope you are all well ZF - Max Brenners sounds delish! Sop have fun tonight hun!! xoxo

I ache all over. Had minimal sleep on a couch at some point during the night. Left there at 8:45 and it was foggy and 5 degrees.

Now to get showered and head to MBS to walk around for a few hours.

I'm ok but i think minimal sleep might have been the go for last night.
Watched DVD's on the couch til about 4am as the girls were sleeping in there and DD2 kept waking saying her belly was sore - then the girls were wide awake at 7am so i got up and swept the front step, and hung out washing it was soooo foggy & FREEZING!
I've also managed to tidy the spare room, change the girls sheets, get showered, make a cake (it's in the oven) & bring in the hose and move the mower.... that was all before 10am

Think the rest of the arvo will be a lazy day making sure the girls don't trash the joint while we wait for DP to get home and their surprise visitors this afternoon.

I am doing really well today. The weekend was VERY meh though! Back to it today, with DH on board. AGAIN! Hopefully for good now. He's put on more weight than he thought and was rather horrified with himself. Big plans for cleaning the house really well this arvo after lunch, and the baby is in bed. Feeling in the zone again, which is great because I lost it over the weekend! I forgot to weigh and measure this morning before breaky, so it will have to be in the morning.

Being lazy and just cut and pasted from my blog....

So my weight loss efforts have been pretty **** poor, until the last few days. Over the weekend, I had a huge blowout, food wise. Luckily enough for me, I haven't gained any of the weight I had lost, but also haven't lost any more after having a pretty good week before hand! I need to up the ante on the exercise front, as well as being more mindful and careful of what I'm eating.

I have done a fair amount of comfort eating, instead of focusing on eating for hunger. The Hubby has just had 4 night shifts, half a day off and 4 day shifts, which kills both of us, because we're both so tired and grizzly at each other. Little Dude and Bubbity Boo are sick, and have been for about 6 weeks on and off. We just can't seem to shake their illnesses. So, that means several very sleepless nights for me, and it's usually on the Hubby's night shifts, so I have to cope on my own with them. Which stresses me out, and makes me anxious at the thought of nights shifts at home alone with sick children. And that in turn, causes me to comfort/stress/boredom eat. Bleugh. I wish I dealt with stuff with something else, instead of food!

I have eaten well and feel pretty good, right now. In the zone. I would love to go out and for a run, but I have the three kids home, and no one else to look after them. When the Hubby works, generally I can't go out of the house to exercise. I can do some wii-fit exercise, which does get the heart rate up, but I don't particularly enjoy it. So I procrastinate, and put it off all day. Today I did run around with the ball with the kids at the park. And I walked about 30mins all up through the day, from here to there and around the place, though that is with an almost-4-year-old in tow. And he is slow. Painfully slow at times! I have lots of excuses and 'reasons' to get past. I still need to JUST DO IT!!!!!

All up at the end of this week, I have lost no weight, but 2cm overall. Go figure. Since I have barely exercised at all, I probably just measured differently to last fortnight....

As of last night, 11th June, I am 94.4kg, 2.6kg weight loss and a 2cm loss from my measurements.

    Hi Guys,

Haven't posted on BB for sooo long. Been a big year. I am now a single mummy (since christmas) of 3 after 9 years of marriage..totally out of the blue...so NOW IT'S MY TIME!
My kids are 8, 3 and 15 months, and I run my own small business, but I have realised I need to put myself first as a priority, or nothing else is going to prosper as it should in my life.

So, heaviest I have been is 108kg. I got down to 87kg last year, and stayed at around 90kg until the last 4 weeks, but am now back at 95.4kg due to lots, and lots, and lots of comfort/exhaustion eating at night! I am a member at Fernwood, and had been going around 5 times a week until about a month ago as well, but it began to feel like I was running the kids lives around Gym sessions, so I need to get a better balance. Only been to Gym a couple of times in the last month.

I am planning on now just using the gym for weight training & body pump classes, and do my Cardio out walking/jogging (Just small intervals of jogging) with the kids. My 3 yr old (who is as tall as a 5 yr old!) got too heavy for me to push easily in my Phil and Ted's with my little one in there also, so I invested and bought a Croozer Bike Trailer/Jogger/Stroller in One...which is awesome!!!! Light as a feather!

I am doing Celebrity Slim for the first two weeks just to get me back in the zone, and then just plan on eating clean, fresh food and drinking lots of water. I know what I am meant to be eating...I just enjoy the bad stuff so much!

On Celebrity Slim I am doing a shake for brekky, small tin of tuna with some lettuce and a tiny amount cheese for a morning snack, shake for lunch, fruit salad and yoghurt for afternoon snack, Protein and steamed vegies for dinner (with LOTS of spices ....and the plan suggests a third snack...but to be honest I am stuffed full...so I might just have a low fat hot choc as a treat??

I have also started doing Tracey Anderson's Perfect Design Series Workout DVDS at night..there are 3 DVDs in the series...I am just on number one....it is TOTALLY unlike any other workout I have done before...looks so simple....but is oh so hard...it kills! But, it is so fun, and better to chill out doing that after the kids go to bed, than eat CHOCOLATE!

Anyway, took some before photos in a bikini today :/ ..soo bad, but fantastic inspiration to keep going.

I am 163cm tall, so my long term goal is to get to 59kg....but I am giving myself 7-8 months to achieve this, or longer...one day at a time!!

Anyway, I will try and go through the posts in here, and read up!

    welcome Faithful Mumma

3lm - what about running around the house, as in while the kids are asleep (or use the blackbox babysitter) run laps around the house. You're still nearby if they need you. Or you could do sprints the width of the yard.

I had a cardio workout on the weekend.

When I get to the family on the weekend I'm going to stand on the scales, I wonder if I've lost. Ran into my soul-sister on the weekend at MBS and she last saw me in Bali last year when we were on retreat together, she raved yesterday at how brilliant I'm looking. So I know i've lost weight since Sept last year.

Somehow I lost my subscription to this thread so wasn't seeing new posts... I think DD does it on my phone .

I've been up and down the past few days. Been in a bad mood and running on less sleep than I'm used to, then DH was home sick yesterday... I had a shocking day with food on Monday, but then went for a 7km run yesterday morning. Been good so far with food - just finished off some avocado and tomato on corn thins for morning tea - yum! I'm so tired today though, so I hope I have the willpower to resist eating too much of the dark chocolate I have in the cupboard.

Only 4 days till my big 10km race! I hope I can catch up on some sleep and get some energy back in the meantime, otherwise it's going to be a very tough 10km.

Sorry for lack of personals, will hopefully find time to BBL .

Hello! I am back from the world of work! no loss from me this week, have been a bit like you sterla - feral mood post AF and craving all sorts of rubbish - not eating huge amounts of bad stuff but just too frequently if that makes sense. I have also done something to my thumb/hand - so sore and I can't push the pram when it's like this so will be going for a run tonight when DH gets home - only 1 mth to my 5km run! 4 days Sterla that is exciting!!

Welcome Faithfulmumma! Lots of motivation here - we can tend to get busy at times but someone will almost always pop in every few days.

Hooray Sopdet - that is great that people have noticed! How is your ankle feeling???

3LM - Although you probably don't know it you are in a good place, you KNOW what you need to do and want to do it. Making exercise a habit is so hard and that is what I struggle with. That is why I have stalled after 1.5kgs I need to be stricter with my chocolate and crap in take and up my exercise if I want to reach my goal. I just need to bluddy well do it!

No loss here as I mentioned but no gain either thank goodness. I can feel the slight shift under my boobs - its the first place the weight comes off, just that tyre/roll under there but the lower part of my tummy is still rolly polly and makes me look pg. It WILL go. Might see if I can hunt down those Tracy Anderson dvds. Am a bit bored by Jillian at the moment as much as I know it gets results and is quick but I would just rather get out and run than spend 30 mins in front of the telly.

Off to get this house clean - kids have been cherubs this morning while I had a bath and now a coffee and being so lazy. Stupid weather and hand are making mojo seriously disappear.

The loss from there is very important. That "fat" area is a precursor indication of diabeties. Well that is what we've been taught at Uni.

I know I'm carrying a bit too much there at the moment. I've been given a diet from a dietician for people carrying diabeties markers (like this fat) so will have to get back into that.

Sterla - not long now hun, i'm sure you will do an amazing job, i'm looking forward to loosing some weight and maybe picking a walk to do next year (running is a bit ambitious for me to even think of now) - keep up the great work hun.

Tanstar - sometimes maintaining is better than loosing, expecially coming into winter with all the yummy comfort foods and such - not long til your run either - you girls are an inspiration.

Ohh i've posted a thread HERE, would love some input from all you lovely ladies if you get a chance.

Sopdet - hun your looking fabulous (as always) but it's nice when someone you havén't seen in a while can notice, your doing a great job and showed so much dedication even while injured.

AFM - I'm cleaning up my room today and will be tidying around the bike, am thinking i might even pop some little 'words of wisdom' up on the wall around it for some motivation and get back into using it (even though i have nothing to show how many k's or anything i'm doing).
Am thinking about getting a pedometer aswell for when HotI and i go for walks and seeing just how many mummy steps i take in a day - any ideas on where i can get a decent but cheapish one?

MEEE!!!! I just commented on her status so hopefully will add me!

Sterla was your run today or must be tomorrow!??? Good luck hun!!

AFM quick one here - busy birthday party weekend for the squids but I ran FOUR kms! Non-stop - well that is a lie, I walked about 20 seconds in one bit because I had a shocking stitch but the rest I ran! SO chuffed with myself and feel like I will be ok for the 5ks in July!!!! Walked 1km home and then made brownies for dessert but only ate a small piece and just ate another piece I seriously need to find a healthy chocolate recipe - is there such a thing?? I think there are some paleo ones around with coconut oil etc. might have to hunt them down. Just went through some photos from Christmas and I look shocking. My sister has always been bigger out of the 2 of us but she's been low-carb and working her butt off at the gym for months and for the first time that I can remember I was bigger than her at Christmas and that was a shock seeing it. I am determined but keep self sabotaging by doing things like making brownies. So frustrating.

Anyway no more sooking - need to go wrap some pressies!! Have a great Saturday girlies!

Right, DD is asleep and DS is watching a movie so I might have time to write a proper post!

Tan: Well done! That is awesome!!! You'll be more than ready for that 5km run next month! Yup, I'm sure she will/has added you. I'm Selina, keep a look out for me on there .

ZF: I'll be interested to find out how many steps you're taking. I wouldn't have a clue how many I'd take - some days it feels like I barely have time to sit down, so you'd think a lot. Have fun walking - how great that you have someone to walk with, that always helps .

Hi to everyone else, and welcome Faithful Mumma!

AFM: My race is tomorrow morning at 10am... I am kind of excited, kind of nervous. I really hope I can run the whole thing - I'll be so disappointed in myself if I don't. I'm just going to take it easy though, not worry about times. The weather here has been yucky the past few days, but the forecast is saying sunny for tomorrow, so hopefully it stays that way. I ran on Thursday, had a rest day yesterday and a brisk walk with my mum this morning. I want to take it easy today, reserve my energy for tomorrow. I think I'm mainly looking forward to finishing tomorrow - that "I did it" feeling . I'll be sure to come and let you know how I did.
My monthly weigh in is a week from today too.

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Go Sterla!!!!!!! can't wait to hear all about it!

Busy day here with a birthday party and DH wants to take the kids to the miniature railway. Must get a walk in today - ran the last 2 days and I think I need a slower pace today, the extra weight I am carrying is taking it's toll on my knees and ankles

    Have a great Sunday!

    Hi!

I made it - I survived, just . Those last 2-3km were a real struggle I have to admit, and even heading toward the finish line I was starting to feel pretty exhausted. Thankfully I didn't faint or vomit everywhere (like another girl did). As hard as it was, I'm so glad I did it! And I even did it faster than I was expecting - I don't have the official time yet but I think I did it in around 1 hour, 1 minute. Next is another 10km race in another city 90 minutes away in October!
