Hi ladies! Sorry been slack in here.

I start off each day so well, then it falls in a heap later in the evening. Looking forward to the longer days, as I tend to do better with weightloss when it is warmer for some reason.

Astrid, I am the same. I have issues with cold weather, lol! I hate being cold and really crave comfort food (ie, unhealthy comfort food!), plus I'm not a huge fan of winter fruit and the veggies aren't to exciting for me either, lol. In summer, I love to be out and about and it is so easy to eat salads and fruits.
Keep plugging on though hun. It will happen. Just be aware of what you're doing and be truthful to yourself. If you have a crappy arvo, just start again tomorrow. It's better having half a good day than none at all, itms!

We have a veggie patch which is quite prolific over summer' so it kind if forces us to eat better. Can't wait till we have lettuce again. Reminds me there is broccoli to harvest.

Id love a veggie garden, but we have dogs that dig lol.

Well its day 1 of the 3 day detox (protein only) and I'm not craving any sugar or anything. I'm focussed today. Tomorrow may be a different story. Haha. I haven't even had my jarrah hot chocolate (I'm allowed 1 per day too as its low fat and I don't put milk in it.) Or my diet lemonade. I've also got through over a litre of water already and its only just gone lunch! Yay

Hi to everyone! Hope you're all going well. ;-)

melbournemumma - I find that if I exercise first thing in the morning, before my brain works out what I'm doing, it is better and I feel in a better headspace for the day.
Yeah, that's the best time for me, if I can drag my butt out of my warm bed. This morning I lay in bed thinking I should get up and go for a walk, but it was so warm in bed and so flipping cold out I will try and do better tomorrrow

Back on the bandwagon properly today. I just made myself a green smoothie, which I must admit isn't as yummy as everyone else seems to make out! Maybe I did it wrong. Anyway, lol!! I will go out and go for a walk soon too, nothing really strenuous though since I am still coughing like no tomorrow!

What recipe did you follow 3LM? It took me quite a few goes and experimenting to get it right .

I used, 1/2 punnet fresh blueberries, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, handful baby spinach, 1 grated zucchini, tsp honey, 1cup milk (I meant to buy some almond milk to use, but forgot, so it was just cows milk) It was ok, and I will do it again, it just wasn't a amazingly delicious as I thought it would be, lol!

    Hi all,
Im on a healthy lifestyle drive at the moment too. Slow and steady

My green smoothie of choice is 1-2 cups baby spinach, 2 oranges, 2 frozen bananas and a dash of milk. The oranges make most of the liquid. I add frozen mango too when we have it. Delish. The key is definitely the frozen fruit.

Eww I probably wouldn't like that either!!!! LOL Mine is the one off the quirky cooking blog so has lots of stuff in it - but mainly the cacao makes it all chocolate like and delicious!!!!!!

good golly miss molly - I just cut 15 mins off a walk. 5.16km just took me 41 mins, one month ago exactly it took me 56 mins & I was doing a c25k session during it so was running for some of it. Today I was walking home from work, and I didn't get sore at all or struggling for breath, and the whole time my HRM was sitting in "fat burn" range.

Excuse me while I just fall over in shock.

    Well done Sopdet!!!

I have flu and too tired to exercise. Does shagging sparky four times last night count as exercise?

LOL, it wasn't disgusting. But not as good as I wanted it to be! I had avocado to put into it too, but forgot! I will try again tomorrow. What do you use? But I don't have cacao, and won't be able to get it here. Can I buy it online? Would cocoa suffice to make it chocolatey?

    Hell yes!!!

I have a spinach smoothie too, but not as pure as most of you I would assume. Go easy hun, you've been really unwell.

Wow Sopdet! That's awesome. You'll be hopping up that volcano

pp how are you going with the detox?

    MM baby steps hun

Astrid, you've reminded me. Must get some lettuce in before it gets too hot.

AFM slowly going. Still doing well, eating less and better and exercising most days. Down another 900gm this week.

I weighed in on Saturday and I lost another 1.4kg so down 3.4kg in total so far

Had a bad day Monday lunch but shook that off and got straight back on the proper eating Monday night.

I must admit I was hoping to be able to notice the weight loss but I can't. A little bit disheartening but hopefully I'll start noticing it soon.

On the upside I am really enjoying WW. The food is really nice and not at all feeling like I'm on a diet or under massive restrictions. I went out of coffee & cake with a g/f so that was nice.

    WE CAN DO IT
