Had a good week, really clean eating and exercising each day - until af arrived yesterday and bam! Why do I struggle to eat well when she's here - it sucks. Trying to get back on the straight and narrow and stay on track till she disappears!
    35 days until Fiji!

    Good luck tomorrow Dan!!

Yay for Fiji Ausgirl - I am with you on AF - I crave chocolate the week prior - and I mean the WHOLE week

Ate my body weight in cookie dough today and then ate 3 chocolate nutella cookies that I made with the kids - wtf? I am feeling SO disgusting, headachy and sick (obviously talk about serious sugar overload!) anyway I will go for a light jog tomorrow - shin splints or not I need to get out and my body is craving a run. Will ease up if it twinges and walk but otherwise will do a very slow jog - realised how much faster I have gotten when looking back on my runkeeper stats - was running around and above 8.5 mins per km and now am around 7.3 - would love to get under 7 but will take some time now that I am injured!

Off to bed to sleep off this sugar high Have a great weekend all!

    Hi ladies.

Back on the weight loss wagon for me!

Partly because I've continued to spike over the 90 kilo mark. And partly because my IBS has majorly flared up due to me eating the wrong types of foods. Gosh, it's painful!

So going to try to cut my sugar intake down, try to exercise more, and drinking more water. Then I can focus on a few other things soon enough.

I find the diets I've been on in the past, have actually failed because I haven't cut habits out gradually. It's all been cut out so fast hence my reason for failure. I'm going to do it right this time. For myself and my daughter.

How is everyone going with weight loss goals?

My friend suggested a hypno lap band CD, it's hypnosis that helps reduce weight gain. It was only 20 on Ebay, so I got it. If it doesn't work, I haven't lost hundreds at least haha!

I just saw myself in the mirror, naked, for the first time in ages and I actually looked (I am the queen of getting dried & dressed without looking at myself & I have full length mirrors in the bedroom). You know that horrible flabby bit of belly that just hangs down, well mine is getting smaller and I can now see if I need a brazillian without having to grab flab and move it out the way

Wow it is starting to sink in that I'm losing weight & getting thinner.

Sopdet that is absolutley awesome!!! Well done chick!!!

Tan - so frustrating that you can't run. Packing will sure get your heart going. As they say a walk is better than sitting on your ass doing nothing (like me :/ ). You'll get there hun. Are you having heaps of variety in your diet?

LMS - Cutting out junk/fatty foods is awesome. Portion control is also important but please please please don't cut out carbs. Your body needs them. You just need to watch your portions.

I had a small gain two weeks ago of 200gm and then I had a bad weekend with a wedding and travelling heaps in cars. I have gotten slack for some reason. I always seem to self sabotage. I start seeing the scales go down and then decide to sabotage myself. I am determined to get back on track - I can do it!!!! No idea what my weight is doing but will have to wait until weigh in on Sat at WW.

I really need to start introducing exercise because although the scales are going down my body shape really isn't changing so I guess it's the exercise that will help with that.

Does anyone else get upset that no-one notices their weight loss? I've loss over 7kg and no-one comments. But put on a few grams and everyone notices.

    How is everyone else travelling?

Good luck, i am geeting back on the wagon too after a bit of a shock on the scales this morning.
Am giving up on the calorie counting but i am making an effort to eat better, lots of water, less sugar and more importantly is fitting in some exercise.
Now it's warming up i'm hoping HotI and I can fit in some walks while DD1 is at kinder also hoping if DP starts getting home early enough i might leave him with the kids and take our dog for a walk on the horrible horrible hills near my place or along the creek past the neighbors property.

    Hello Everyone!

DP and I have decided we are both unhappy with our weight and have started calorie counting and increasing our exersize to try to lose a few kilos by xmas!

I was always a really skinny kid until I was about 17, when I started to chub up a bit. When I was 20 my maximum weight was 73kg. I started going for walks and quickly it became an addictive routine. Then I changed my diet up slowly over time to smaller portions of healthier food. 3 months later I was curious one morning and weighed myself at 59kg! 14 kilos! I was pretty shocked. I maintained 59/60kg until i met my DP.... Now I sit usually at about 62kg.

The last 6 months of this year have been difficult on us - having some unexpected difficulty TTC, my nan passing away and a MC has caused a lot of comfort eating!!

Thismorning I weighed in at 65.5kg and DP at 110kg. I want to be 62kg and him 105kg by xmas!

DP bought me a lovely bicycle last weekend (he already has one) and we live right near a couple of excellent walking/cycling paths. I can only do low impact exersize due to a spinal injury from a car accident - so walking and cycling it is!

Does anyone have any tips on what I can fill his tuckerbox with? He eats well at home but mostly drivethru and servo food at work due to being incredibly lazy! He is a tradie so no access to a kitchen at work.

i look at my motivational photos each day and somedays its really hard but im sick of being FAT ..... and the only person who's to blame .... is me !!

i'm down another 500 g ..... gym 4 times a week, plus walking 2 mornings, pushing pram and good eating ... NO junk !!!!... or only one meal a week is junk... the rest are good meals

keep up the good work guys

I'm baacckkkkk - this year I will kick this yo yo weight gain and loss cycle. I am sick and tired of it, it's not huge numbers but I look and feel horrible and I really want to create new habits in my life because my diet is definitely nowhere near what it should be.

    I need to:

    Up my vegetable intake daily.
    Increase water intake daily.
    Exercise daily.
Cut the crap - if I do have it, have it small portions and move on, not binge and then wonder why I have gained 2 kgs. Will not cut it completely though but monitor my amounts.

I think if I do all this I will definitely see results like weight loss and my body changing!!!! I need to lose around 6 kgs but not too fussed on seeing the numbers as seeing the change in the mirror and my clothes!

So who else is making lifestyle changes in 2013! We are moving next week so I will be around but probably quietish until we get internet down there so don't think I have disappeared but will update at the beach on my phone where I get 3G!

Me too Tan. Sick of losing and gaining. And gaining and gaining! I now have about 35-40kg to go. OMG But one day at a time. I need to get through this heat wave too, but still exercise....43 degrees today and tomorrow, and nothing under 40 for a week. It was still over 30deg at 10pm last night! Maybe I will just do some yoga DVD's (that's all I have!) and make up some weight bearing stuff...push ups and squats...

ooh yeah. Back again. I am yoyo'er and it sucks. Gained all of what I lost at the start of last year. I think the move from 3 to 4 days per week of work has had a huge affect on my health. Less time to exercise and prepare food, so takeaway has featured a fair bit. Have realised that I just cannot have a drink a day, or even once per week. I noticed it was in the lead up and aftermath of my birthday that the weight gain really hit.

    Mmmm peanutbutter!!!!!!!

No loss here but we just moved house this week and am freaking exhausted. Going for a run by my beautiful beach tonight though and no chocolate until the weekend. I will do this, also doing JM body revolution but won't be able to do a DVD every day, hoping for 3-4 a week or running. There is a local fun run 5 kms in early Feb I want to do!

Hope you are all going well!!!
