I have a dilemma. DH and I have a "date" day planned tomorrow (DS is being babysat) which includes gold class movies in the afternoon, and lunch out. But I don't know what to eat at the movies. I'd love to get something to eat (I just love being waited on in the cinema!), but I can't really see that i can get anything healthy (and before anyone mentions that there are healthier options - I can't eat wheat, onion, green beans, most fruits which cuts out most foods on their menu). The only 2 options I could possibly go are the wedges (which is being naughty - powdered onion - I may pay for it) or there's a chocolate mousse (i'd have to check if I can eat it) but not very healthy at all

Plus Dh has already said oh we can go & get you a hot chocolate earlier in the day (even though we're trying to lose weight). So should I just have what I want as a treat? Or should I find a way to have a fun day and still not break the diet?

Oh and 30 min cycle (stationary bike - my legs are DEAD!) and 30 min walk today.

Kaz - I'm just thinking of our bet.. lol

Leesa - some of my tri-buddies have had kids, but they're all in the post-kids, ultra-fit, have-been-thru-labour-i-can-do-anything stage. To be honest, I'd probably run into someone I know at any of the pools nearby... plus it's hard to find the time away from DS. I think I'll just stick to my spinning, Wii games & walking (not allowed to run anymore either boo ).

I was another .1kg down today (yes, I weigh everyday). Hanging out for my official weigh-in on Thurs... hence don't wanna blow it too badly tomorrow.

You guys are all going great

    I have a confession.....

I dont know what the heck is wrong with me!!

I have eaten nothing but crap the last few days - maccas, chips, a frozen coke and cinammon donut

What is wrong with me!!!! arrrrrrh!

I am my own worst enemy!!!!

AND I told DP I went on the treadmill last night which was an utter lie!!

Really need to get some motivation going and stop hindering my own progress. You guys are all inspiring. I really want to do this! I have been fat for 5 years now! I need to get off the couch and start moving my big butt!

Sorry about the vent but I knew I had to be honest not only with you guys but with myself.

    So embarrassed!

Aw, Ali - whats going on? You're honesty is golden!

I suggest going cold turkey and remember 'what you eat in private shows in public'...

Write it out - and attach it to your fridge

Aaah that's a great idea! Then I combine both treats in one... I knew you brilliant girls would think of something for me!
Ack - just checked, they don't have it! Will have to settle for Iced Chocolate instead. Does that mean I lose our bet Kaz? Or is that based on actually solid chocolate?

BC - yup, seeing Avatar, can't wait!

Glad I could help but bugger on them not having hot choc for you grrrr. Iced choc will still be yummy, can they do it on skim milk for you, that way you won't feel too guilty?

    You and me both, Ali.

I've had another health issue pop up today. I can't see well enough to go into it at the moment, I just feel like the universe is conspiring against me right now.

Ali - you can do it hun. Don't let a few bad days get you down - we all have them (actually I had a few bad weeks) but today is a new day and you have fresh motivation.

Belfie - where are you? I am aiming to get back into tri next month - maybe we could meet somewhere and do an ocean swim or something together? I have done 2 Olympic distance after DD1 but I haven't since DD2 - DP is doing the Olympic distance this weekend. Mind you neither of us are extremely fit and really only do them as participants - we are no threat to the serious competitors

BW - I hope things improve for you.

BC - I love the new avvy

Leesa - you look great (well when I saw you you did)

I haven't done much for the last few days as the girls have been home with me but CC starts on Thursday so back into it then!

Nai - I'm in Melb too, eastern 'burbs... but I can't run (girly probs following DS PLUS I'm TTC #2), so either way, another tri is a dim and distant possibility. I've only done 1 Olympic distance (before DS). That's awesome that you're aiming to get back tho - good on you!

Kaz - i've lost! I succumbed to the very yummy chocolate mousse at gold class... and honestly, it was SO worth it (am I bad influence? ) but I'm back on the good wagon again now.

Pumped for weigh-in tomoz! How is everyone else faring?

Hi everyone. Just poping in quickly today. Have a big day planned so have to get to it. I have been on the cross trainer again this morning, so feeling good. My muscles are really sore (I think from the wii fit ea sports program) so I guess that means things are working lol.

Belfie - Good luck with your weigh in today, can't wait to hear how you went.

How is everyone else going? I am going to weigh in tomorrow so looking forward to what this weeks hard work has done!

    WOO HOO! 1.4kg lost
65.1 down to 63.7 (yup, I'm a shorty so that's overweight for me still) but crossed 2 numbers IYKWIM - gotta love that
And DH has lost 1.3kg in the same time. So onwards and upwards,or should I say... downwards? I'm still going on CK too - it's a great help.
I'm thrilled it's such a good start and I feel SO much slimmer already - partly cos with the change of diet I'm not bloating nearly as much - so it's a double whammy for me. Yay!

Thanks for all the support guys, it really helps! Thanks Ktgirl too, it was so nice to hear that you were waiting for my results so now I'll be waiting for yours tomorrow!

Belfie - WHOO HOO to you!! Well done on the weight loss!! I have to laugh at you thinking you lost our bet though - I had a ferrero rocher (?sp) last night So I think I loose cause it was hard chocolate. We had a friend pop round unexpectedly and I just got them out thinking 'cool she can help us eat them' without thinking of the social pressure to also have one Anyway, I figure once a week might be the way to go? Going to see how many days I can go from now again.
BW - Thanks for the info on dates. I knew they were full of sugar but didn't realise it was that bad. I love dried fruit but have resolved to stop buying it from now on. I don't need that kind of sugar hit either! for your health stuff too darl. Just focus on doing what you can.
Ali - mate. I have been doing that to myself for the past few months. I know how you feel. I love that quote from Leesa too. I'm going to stick it on my fridge. You've done so well. It's a little slip up, that's all.
ktgirl - good luck with your weigh tomorrow - with all the exercise you're doing, I'm sure you'll have a loss.

Hi to everyone else!! This thread moves so quickly I'm having trouble keeping up!

AFM - No exercise yesterday, shopping instead plus I ate that chocolate BUT I jumped on the scales this morning and I'm 600g down!! YAY! Going to wait until Sunday to weigh myself properly though. Hopefully I'll get some time to get on the Wii again today.
Had a chat to my boss last night about returning to work. I'm going back at the beginning of April and for some reason, it's really increased my motivation to loose this 15kg (or as much as I can) by then. I really don't want to be returning with my mummy-tummy and fat-butt!! So while I'm a bit down about going back cause it all seems rather real now, it's cool that I've got this extra boost of motivation.

Belfie - woohoo on the weight loss!! We could still do a swim at Elwood or something if you were keen?

Kaz - I think a goal like going back to work where everyone will see you is a huge motivator - my original one was a wedding and then my 20 year reunion.

KT - good luck with your weigh in tomorrow.

Belfie- that is a fantastic loss!!!!
Kaz- sounds like you are on track and that is good that you have some motivation and a goal to get to.

Thanks for all of your support girls.

I went back to my WW meeting today and I have put on 900g in 3 weeks which I suppose isnt too bad when I think that is over 3 weeks. Be good to get back into it and got their new cookbook so going to try out some really yummy low point meals.

BBL. Going to put DD to bed.

Kaz - I found having a goal other than a number worked magic for me. My goal was to be able to fit into my uniform work pants prior to returning mid Feb. And I did it last week. So everything now is a bonus. I can now return to work and say to the guys "I just had my second baby - what's your excuse ". I can't wait!

Ali - Hang in there chic. Considering it was New Years and Xmas you have done well! Back to the grind now .

Awesome on the weight loss Belfie! Brilliant work.

AFM - I'm down to 68.9kg. Very proud of myself. Anything now is just a bonus - I haven't really set my next goal (numbers I have - but I fit into all my 'small' sized clothing. Maybe I should buy a size 10 pair of jeans as a goal to get into them by winter perhaps??

    Mwah!
