SJ - That is a great loss hun! Don't discount any loss as just 'ok' - EVERY loss is one step closer to the 'big goal'! Without it, you'd never get there . One kilo of fat takes up more space than one kilo of muscle - that's why you're jeans are looser now, you're losing fat and increasing muscle = burning more calories quicker! I'm so proud you resisted the fries - great work. Those kinda situations will pop up every now and then and it sure sounds like you're on track to combat them!
Belfie - Did you find that HRM ?
3littlemonkeys - Hun, can I suggest that maybe you just do this weight loss journey on your own? You can't rely on someone else, no matter how close they are to you, because as you've identified - if one falls down, the other can fall down like a domino effect, if that makes sense. I know it does make it heaps easier if you're both on the same page. You CAN do this hun!
Mildez - way to go re the size 14 jeans hun! What a great step hun! How has your DH been support wise? Fitness wise, considering I have a 14 wk old I'm stoked with where I am. I love being able to fit into my old clothes, and just have the energy to load 2 toddlers and a newborn into and out of a car, run around with them etc - I just wanted to lose the weight before i return to work (which was going to be Sept), and i've done that now and its not even August - so yeah, I'm really happy.
Sterla - How are you going hun? What have you been up to hun?
Tanstar - great work on the loss hun! Very impressed !
Starbright - its totally each to your own when it comes to weighing, I found it motivating and it really kept me honest and on track; but others no doubt have their own ideas about it. You'll find your groove hun! Whatever suits - and I'm so happy with your losses too. I know what you mean about being too skinny, DH doesnt want me to go back to my 'lowest' weight - which was 55kgs, I'm 58 now and I even think I'm starting to be too scrawny - so (get this) for the first time in 10 wks, i did not exercise! O.M.G huh? That is so not like me lol! Curves are great, my DH loves them too!
AFM - I don't really have much to report - I'm still trying to work out my 'maintenence' groove. I don't want to even post what I consumed yesterday and still managed to maintain!! It's a bit trial and error - but so far I'm doing pretty well!
Fat Chic Slim girls - look out for the next challenge! ;P
