Hi girls... I had a quick read of this thread yesterday but it didn't seem very active? Do you all touch base regularly? I did have a look on ebay at those lollipops It reminds me of this diet book I picked up on sale a few years ago, it's called the Shangri-la diet where they recommend you drink sugar water or oil (or both) throughout the day to basically suppress your appetite... I found that the sugar water made my teeth sore and the oil made me shaky, dizzy, weak and feel like vomiting?

I just had a D&C on Friday and am now still TTC #1, before I fell pg I needed to loose 5kg and while I was pg i put on about 3 -3.5kg so I am going for an even 10kg weight loss (but I only started my ticker after I lost .5) Anyway in the past I lost about 7k one time and 9kg another time by counting calories (1200) per day which is totally easy once you learn how much everything is, and anyone who has done this would have found that you tend to eat the same food all the time anyway... You know the same items on your shopping list, cook the same meals at home etc... And it's not like you can't make new stuff, you just count it as you go and the important thing to remember is that it's not forever... Anyway I find it really easy to do but can see how some people can't be bothered. So that's what I am doing again and I would love to start exercising straight away but my stomach is sore from the op on Friday... But I can't wait to get back into it and see some results on the scales!

Good luck to you all, it seems you don't need it though as you are already getting results I'm looking forward to you all holding me accountable for my declaration of weight loss and to sharing the journey with you all

cherished: give yourself some time to recover before doing any radical weight loss, i know how much harder it can be.
we're a bit slack in this thread but all got some goals.
i took this great salad and chicken to work today and felt great, i have a weigh in tomorrow. hope it's an arrow down.

    good luck

well i have lost some more weight or should i say cm's.
i sort of started on 11 nov last year but have been more serious since xmas time.
anyway i have lost 200g ( yes that is two hundred grams) ! big deal !!!

but the funny thing is that they did my measurements today and i have lost 18 cm's all up. they do bust,
    underbust
    waist
    abdomen
    hips
    thighs
    and arms.
i am so proud of myself. i am achieving my goals slowly.

i have been doing a low gi thing sort of with salads and more walking

keep up the good work guys.

    Well done JBM

AFM I have been doing ok?... Had the D&C Friday so have been sitting on my butt ever since. I have had a couple of days where guests have bought over sticky treats for morning tea and just like the biggest looser I gave into temptation! OH well!... I think I may have lost weight anyway but it is kinda hard to tell because I am bleeding now like a period (sorry for TMI)! and I am really bloated... I think I will absolutely see a change next Friday though so I am happy either way. Ideally I would like to loose 1 kg a week but as long as it is .5 I will be happy.

    Hope you're all doing well
