just had a quick look at my book, after the 3 day detox, you can have one serve of carbs or one serve of fruit for breakfast with your protein serve. One carb serve is 1 slice of multigrain bread, 1/2 cup uncooked oats, 1 cup of high fibre cereal or 2 weetbix. You can have skim milk with your cereal and a dash of skim milk in tea or coffee. No sugar drinks are also ok, but they say 3 litres of water a day! (the more you drink the better you will feel)

They do say, you can have protein powder or protein bars as snacks but preferably not in the first 3 days, and no more than a couple of times a week.

Not sure if I have missed anything.

Hey Sally, if you are interested in having a look at BT and you are heading my way, you can borrow my book and DVD's.

I want to do it but I need to continue expressing and hopefully breastfeeding soon.

I'll be keeping an eye on you all. Best of luck. X

With your protein snacks you can have 50 to 100grams, so if you feel the need to have a bit more then have the 100grams but if your weight loss is stalling, then try to stick to the 50 grams. WHat I really liked about it was that they really do emphasise not to sweat the small stuff. Can't stand your toast without butter? Smear a bit on. Need tomato sauce on your meatball snack ? Go for it. Its a much more balanced way to diet, rather than all shake diets or things like Cohens when are soooo regimented.

Lynsdan - don't do it now lovely. While you feel great after the first week or so, it is really draining to begin with and you have more than enough to worry about without sapping your energy even further. It is also far too limiting on calcium when you are trying to keep your milk supply up.

    Good luck ladies.

Miss K, I can't pm you as yet, still waiting for membership to switch over. Are you still planning to start on Monday? I went out tonight and got my ricotta cheese to make the jelly cheesecakes on sunday, and got some vacuum packed sliced meat. Going to cook up some chicken breast as well and bought some frozen fish fillets and tuna...so I am set! Monday is going to be interesting however. I will be up from 7am monday through to 7.30pm tuesday because I have a one off night duty, reaching my step count wont be an issue but there will definately be some extra protein snacks eaten

Miss K, I am going to start on Saturday. I feel that right now I am ready, I am in the right mind set to do it and don't want to leave it until monday to get started. So I will (all going well) be a couple of days ahead of you, but hopefully we can still support each other through this process.

    EXCELLENT!!!!!!

I haven't made my jelly cheesecakes yet, really need to do it soon so they set for tomorrow night, I enjoyed having one for my evening snack, curbed the sweet attack

I won't be around until midday tomorrow, have to work in the morning and have a few cake orders I have to get organised for. But will check in when I get home.

    All the best for tomorrow.

well, I have decided to skip the 3 day detox and go straight to the weight loss phase. I did yesterday as protein only but I just cant do 3 days in a row lol I know the weight loss for this week will be lower but I am happy with that. Doing well so far though, 3 litres of water down, 30 min walk and pedometer is on 13 103. Have made bolognaise for tea, I will have mine with vegies and kids can have the evil pasta. Had tuna and salad for lunch.

well day 2 finished (of my adapted BT program lol) step count 15, 547. I am sure I will be weeing all night from the litres on litres of water I drank today but its all worth it. Feel totally full after dinner and still need to have another snack in about 20 mins. Hopefully the difference isn't too much, I know last time I lost over 4 kilos in the first week but if I only loose 2-3 I will still be happy.

    Good Luck tomorrow

yeah, I have to make a real effort to drink the water, but then I find I guzzle litres of it and spend the day on the loo. All going well here, took a sneaky peak at the scales yesterday and was down 1.2kg, which I am happy with so far, although I know if I had down the 3 day detox it would have been more but thats ok.

are you on your last day of detox today? and are you going to weigh yourself tomorrow morning? I am seriously getting sick of this protein, going out today to find some yummy tasting protein powder and some protein bars. Was going to have a look at the BT cookies, but I believe they take a while to arrive. Good luck today.
