    Hi girls,
I've signed up for Round 2 as well!
I did Round 1 properly for the first 6 weeks, lost 6.5kg, then we had family stuff happen and the rest of it went out the window. The great thing is because of the amount I learnt in the first half I manged to maintain my loss up to the beginning of this round! Feeling pretty proud of myself for that one seeing as I was eating on the run, not home much and almost no time to exercise.

My Round 2 goal is to lose 10kg! First mini goal is 3.5kg by week 4. I'm also going to do 'Jacobs Ladder' on the weekend and use that as my measurement for fitness, do it again week 4, 8 and 12. (For those not in Perth this is a KILLER set of stairs at Kings Park)

Shopping list all ready to go for this morning.

Re: food, I mix the dinners up all the time, depending on what we have on during the week. And breaky, I pretty much stick to the same thing each day. Special K and yoghurt. Easy to eat as I'm running around the house with a pre-primary kid and a 1yr old trying to get the day started.

Calories: I'm aiming for between 300 and 500 cal per day, I know this is slightly lower then recommended but some days with time constraints that's all I can manage. Consistency is the key!

Good luck girls! Bring on the next 12 weeks!

Doodlebug, that is awesome that you managed to keep off the weight you lost and well done on coming back for more!!

Well, I was feeling up for it so went the distance tonight. I am doing DVDs, I couldn't get the 3 set so picked up another BL 3 disc one for the meantime so i would have no excuses and it is so corny/cheesy! I cringed through most of it! But I kept going which I think is more important. My heart rate monitor was playing up for the first 20 mins, but I think I burnt around 400 cals, plus I had 2 20 min walks to the station and back which puts me at a total of 600 cals burned. For food, I bought a salad for lunch ( I'm planning in doing this rather than the ones in the plan) and had Thursday's rump steak because df defrosted it last night thinking it was for making baby food with! Very tasty, I couldn't believe how small a portion the steak was, I def have been over doing it in the past! The salad was very delicious too, it's one of my normal ones anyway, so no big change yet!

All up, I am feeling thinner already, hahaha, I will have to do my photo asap! I've been putting it off as I have no nice underwear to wear in it...

    yah appletree for the cals!!!!!

I did my run component of the test this morning, not as bad as I though it would be since I've been bad and was smoking during the first round, aren't smoking now but body getting used to the fact that I'm pushing it again, having a cold probably doesn't help!

Going to the gym tongiht with my new polar heart rate monitor! I can't wait to see exactly what it says I achieve.

    I'm aiming for 600 cals

But I think I would be happy with 400. I'm a big girl, so I've got a lot to move!

I did my time trial run last night. 7.05min and I had to stop and walk a lot.
Tonight I'm hoping to stay awake long enough to do a DVD but I'd there's lots of jumping it's likely to wake up the kids. Plus my pelvic floor isn't gonna like it, running is bad enough.

Blah to your cold sopdet, have you done the whole fitness test? Which program are you doing??at least you will smash your time when you redo it at 4 weeks

Awesome time pandora!! I am hoping for anything under 8 mins, but still haven't booked in time to do the test. I did a toning DVD tonight, it was so much better than the cardio one I did last night! I think tomorrow I will just go out for a run so I dont have to relive the crappiness of the cardio workout again, lol. All of the jumping in tonights dvd def tested my pelvic floor muscles...

Kimmie- how did you go with the gym tonight? What did you do? The toning DVD only got me to just over 300 cals, but it worked me sooo hard! I can feel cals still burning now! I added an extra 50 cals with jumping rope as I am conscious of weigh in tomorrow!

How did everyone go foodwise today? I cooked up a batch if the chicken soup, it's ok, nothing brilliant I guess! I had to take a day off work today as the whole family had my gastro from the weekend so I improvised for lunch as was not prepared for eating at home. We had a pack of corn thins and I topped 4 of them with avocado tuna and corn. Super super yummy and very filling

Hope everyone has a great weigh in tomorrow morning! Usually on days I weigh in I spurge on something high calorie, but not this time!!!

I'm doing the beginners again this time around, certain things I'm not a beginner but I know my fitness is horrible.

Didn't get to walk home tonight, just as I left the office it started to rain, I love walking in the rain but it was icy cold rain tonight, ended up catching a different tram home and got off it early so I had a 1km walk home, which was done at a fast pace because it was lightly raining. I love the 4.5km walk home but alas it wasn't happening today.

I feel so much better when I exercise first thing in the morning, I might do a DVD before work. Might take my gym gear to work with me and go on the way home.

Doodlebug - welcome! Great to know that all that work has continued (your prior weight loss from round 1), GL with your goal this time around!

Sopdet - Take it easy, you don't want to push yourself too much whilst sick.

Appletree - bah to the soup, having that for dinner tonight, might have to add something else to make it more tasty.

Anyone weighed in yet? I haven't yet. I weighed in last week at night at my personal trainers, so I want to do the same again for consistency.

Did the rest of the fitness test last night and got intermediate on all but the wall sit which was an appalling 20 seconds before I could not take it anymore.

Off to fill my water bottle.
Has everyone seen the bb water drinking challenge thread? I'd link it but I'm on iPhone

What's the BB water drinking challenge?

I'm so stoked I went to the gym tonight, did pump and 30mins on the bike. I can't wait to actually notice a difference in my body!

How did you all go with weigh in? I was so happy to be down 1.6kgs since Saturday but I am putting most of that down to the gastro! I am a bit shocked by some of the numbers people are talking about, it's only been 2-3 days? I was completely blown away!

My legs are aching, I just did the cardio shredder DVD and it's a killer!

Appletree - I know what you mean about the numbers! I was down 400grams and pretty happy with that!

I did 1180 calories today! That's the most I've ever done in a single day. Riding my eldest to school with the little one in the new bikeseat on my bike, then I did a Step class tonight! I'm totally wrecked now though! Don't know if I can manage much more than riding James to school and back tomorrow.

I just did the toned and terffific dvd. was a bit dissapointed that it was only 350calories (for me) but then I cant do any of the jumping, and wont be able to any time soon, so I guess its going to be less calories burned becuase its lower impact. So will have to find something else to add in on the days I do this one.

Pandora, that's about all I get out of it as well, but I'm not too worried as I know it's going to keep burning afterwards! I walk to and from the station so I know I've always got an extra 200 cals anyway. The cardio workouts I'm only getting around 400-420 so I am probably going to add a 40 min walk at lunch if I'm not losing a reasonable amount.

Doodlebug, I am loving your bike ride, what a fantastic idea! How far is it to school for you? Great work on the step class, I am far far far to unco for step classes!

As of today if my scales are correct Im actually down 800g. Which is not bad considering I havent been doing all the exercise I could be.

What dvd's do you guys recommend doing? Im trying to organise my schedule so I can do a few classes and I have a treadmill on layby so for now Im sort of stagnating.

    Hey all, great work!

Doodlebug - that bike ride will get easier & easier each time you do it.

Pandora - You are still burning calories that you wouldn't otherwise do! Keep at it & maybe add some walking in??

My body is aching from all the muscles I haven't used for sooo long. It hurts to walk! I am down 1.4 kg from last weigh in, which I am happy about, hope to keep up those type of numbers. Gotta up my water intake - I am leaving a filled water bottle on my kitchen bench so I can sip it during the day. For some reason if it is right in my sight I'll drink no worries!

DVDLand have Mish's 3 DVDs for less than $40.

    I've lost 600g but haven't been eating as well as I could/should.

Today is going to be a killer gym session even if I can't find my watch for my monitor. I've got today off work, so very shortly (after breakfast - yeh I know it is after 10am & I've not eaten breakfast - didn't wake up until 9, didn't get to sleep until 2) I'm going to get into my gym gear and go do a saturday workout.

Need to get my meditation / exercise / work routine happening again.
