Yah Pandora!!!!!!!!! And you were stressing so much!!!!!

I've lost 1 but I've not exercised in the last few days, flat on my back with a cold, even walking around the house makes me almost pass out.

Bugger, I gained 800g... It was my bday yesterday and df baked me a cheesecake and we went out for Thai for dinner. A bit dissapointed as I followed the plan perfectly the entire rest of the week and trained every day. Ah well, there is always next week. I am thinking about swapping my gym membership back from df, I think I need to train harder as I am getting around 350 cals burnt using the DVDs.

Which DVD Appletree? I get around 350 from the cardio one but over 500 doing the super shredder one.

I'd say based on what you said that it's just having the meal on the day you had it thats caused the gain rather than you eating it at all, does that make sense?
I think there's a reason why weigh in day is positioned at the opposite end of the week to the treatmeal

    Awesome work Pandora!

Sopdet - Good work still losing considering you are so unwell. I hope you feel better soon

Iona - A loss, is a loss & you are right - cms matter the most I reckon!

Appletree - Happy Birthday! Your dinner makes me crave Thai! (I love Thai). Good to see you know what your downfall was this week. I don't burn alot of calories either - I think max. has been 450cal at the personal trainer. Harder to burn more calories if you are fitter too. What training plan are you on? GL for next week.

AFM - I lost 1.4kg, so am happy with that.

The drugs are kicking in!!!!!!!!!!! I'm feeling human again.

appletree - you need to do what is best for you re your exercise, if taking over the gym membership is the way to go, then do it. I find that I don't push myself as hard as I could with the DVDs, whereas I do at the gym.

I'm contemplating joining the bootcamp near me, for Saturday sessions. Won't be able to do it until after the long weekend. If I get this temp assignment in the city (that I should find out about today or tomorrow), I will go back to walking the 4.5kms home every day, might even try doing a session at the gym in the mornings.

Saw on TV the other night one of the gym equipment places was having a sale, $1,500 for a treadmill & they were throwing in a bike for free. If I had the room in my place I was seriously considering it, if I didn't need a study/spare room I was going to turn the 2nd room into a gym, but I really don't want my uni stuff/desk in the louneroom & there isn't enough room in the bedroom for the desk since I have an extra cupboard just for my shoes

appletree - yeah, I avoided alot of her foods from this week, but I have a coupld of low fat recipe books that have the calories already worked out & I just chose some from there & previous weeks foods that I liked.

I've been picking recipes off the last round's menus that I know I like. Doesn't help I've been sick and craving comfort food (ok comfort food for me is sourdough bread with free range leg ham or chicken noodle soup). I got to the gym once this week, it nearly killed me, 20 mins on the bike and the last 5 of that I was fighting throwing up, but I burnt 440 cals so am happy.

Need to do some study today and then will do a DVD.

I'm away next weekend so will have to make sure I get a lot of exercise in this week because I know I won't be following the food properly next weekend, am taking gym gear with me and will utilise the hotel gym and also go for a jog.

I didn't do SSS this weekend. Saturday was a crazy day & night for me, so I planned to do it Sunday but I only did one of MB's DVD's. Might have to do a 'double' session Tuesday

I made the Thai pumpkin soup tonight, tons of left overs for future meals, and it is very filling, I found it to be quite salty though, I probably didn't read the recipe too well though!

For SSS we did a 3 hr bushwalk with me carrying ds in the ergo. Ouch! There were some huge hills in there and my butt and legs ached!! I only burnt 650 cals though, I was hoping it would be more... Next time I will try for 750

I made the pumpkin soup from crunch time and added coriander nutmeg and substituted sweet potato for some of the pumpkin and it's awesome!

Exercise is less successful though, im sleeping through my alarm and finding the first time I have to do a DVD is 11pm at night because DH won't turn off the tv and let me have the lounge room, ad we only have 1 DVD player.

Yay got in a DVD tonight, just. But I doubt Im going to be able to get up in the morning to run now.
    Still, smashed out 555calories.

And on that, Im a bit confuzzled. I thought as I lose weight and exercise, Id be burning less calories each eorkout, but Im burning more doing the same DVD each time? How does that work?
