All the best this round Laranna!
I'm really enjoying it still. I've been really strict with my food for 11 days as well as drinking heaps of water. waiting on my HRM to arrive so I can get stuck into the exercise more, but I probably burn over 500 cals at least 4 times a week already. I've got a LOT to lose, so I imagine I'll be doing all 3 rounds next year aswell.

I got the Polar FT7 (and yay it arrived this afternoon!). I'll be giving it a good crack tomorrow to try and beat my numbers from tonight (I was so excited when it got here that as soon as hubs was in the door I took off for a run! haha).

HRM is a real motivator for me! I'm loving having it with me when I exercise.. it's great!
All is going really well. 2 weeks now until the real deal begins, but I've been going for 15 days so far and even without weighing, I can feel that I've lost a little weight. I feel amazing too!

    Hello ladies
SO glad I foudn this thread, I have signed up for round 3 and am plodding along with the tasks.
Need to by a HRM though can you please recommend one that will do the job, I looked at the polar ones but preferred the boy colour ones over the girls but then wasn't sure if there were features on them that were gender specific???
Wishing you all the best of luck on your 12 weeks journey, I will be loosing weight plus TTC.

Mypuku I brought a red polar FT7. They all have settinga on them for male or female so even if you get a male version you can enter your details in. I paid $125 for mine which included postage. They are great. Definately helps motivate me to burn the calories.

    Thats fantastic Niadalla.

Well I've gained a kilo. So disappointed. Maybe I should but loosing the last 5kilos. Why does the last bit have to be so hard? I can't wait until the actual 12weeks starts. I'm hoping to have most of the weight gone half way through and just maintain for the rest of it and improve my fitness. I don't have alot left to go now and I also dont want to loose my milk supply. I did some fitness tests based on last rounds tests and I am the beginner or all beginners I am sure lol. I couldn't even do a single sit up without cheating. Although I could do 24push ups but I have been practicing those for over a month now.

Yep, you can get any of them and they will adjust to your personal gender. I got the red FT7 (I was worried it would be too small for my wrists, but I have heaps of room).

Still going well. Scales are apparently supposed to arrive tomorrow, so that will be interesting actually knowing what I weight and lose.
PT tonight and first time with my HRM. Taking it easy today in preparation because I'm usually super sore afterwards.

Mildez, with only the last 5kg to go are you thinking about doing L&S?

The Polar HRM's are fantastic! If anyone is thinking about getting one and has frequent flyer/reward points sitting around, you can use them to get a HRM. That's what I did last year and got myself a Polar FT60 for free

I can't wait for this round to start!

Laranna I am so far from L&S its ridiculous lol. I've been on my weight loss journey for 4months now and am a healthy BMI just. I'd like to loose 8kilos so I'm not in the last 5kilos yet but I have come to a stand still now and I am really struggling to get more off. I am also not sure what weight to aim for but I know now my BMI is about 24.5 and I still have the apron, muffin top and double chin etc which I know will go with a little less weight. I've been following Michelle Bridges program for about 6weeks now and lost 2-3kilos on that but that was all in the first week and little since then. I'm learning so much about nutrition and exercise although despite eating alot better I am still not loosing the amount of weight I'd like to. I am definately a beginner. I've been doing a few of the fitness tests and apart from push ups I tick all the beginners boxes.

Niadalla my Polar is the same as yours. I love it. It really helps motivate me to burn the 500cals daily. I've been trying to do that before the actual 12week program starts.

    Hope you're going well ladies!

Oh Mildez sounds like you are still moving in the right direction! I reckon you should give the L&S a go maybe after the first month? You never know until you try it out! I have 5 to go (well kinda between 5-7, I keep yoyo-ing) so gonna try L&S. I still have a little belly too so hoping that disappears, my abs are so weak!

Niadalla! That's an awesome result so far...you are going to be on fire on the program!

Hi there ladies! I hope you're all doing well!
Things are going well here.not getting as much training in as I'd like, but I get a bit in. Loving alot of the food and I've got my favourites that I'm beginning to rotate (hubs loves alot of them). It's so EASY too!! I've gone mad drinking water and I'm getting at least 3 litres a day, sometimes more.
At this point in time after just over 5 weeks it looks like I've lost approx 14.6kgs. I'm very happy with it although because I'm so big it seems like it's not alot at the moment. I've worn my new jeans that didn't fit 5 weeks ago so something is happening!

Hope you're all still enjoying it!

Just wondering if anyone has signed up for the next round (January 2012)?

I'm a yo-yo dieter from wayyyy back (in fact this month makes exactly 10 years since my first crash diet, when I lost 15 kilos in 4 months by starving myself, but that's another story!)

So I know all about motivation (and lack thereof), carbs, protein, calories, fat..... I haven't exercised in almost 3 years! Need to change something permanently, now that I have a little one.

This programme sounds life-changing, but I know it's still up to ME....

goddessofdawn - Do it. You won't regret it. The program is amazing. I've done a couple of rounds, having a break then coming back to do it again next year after baby is born.

The program is really good and there is so much support! The great thing about it is that you don't have to worry about being all the motivated, just follow the plan on the bad days

I am not signing up again until probably round 3 of 2012 - once I've got my new baby and have adjusted a bit.

If you join up early you can have access to the out of season forums over Christmas too

    Good luck!!!

Think I'll do it - my main problem is figuring out what to eat, so with recipes provided that should make it easier...

I wonder if I just got Michelle's cookbook, how I'd go on my own...

I'm in Perth - is anyone else?

Thinking of doing this again. I lost 10 kgs or thereabouts when I did Round 2, skipped round three b/c I thought I could do it on my own and I have stayed at the same weight from when I stopped Round 2!

I got Mich's cookbook - some good recipes in there. I also just modified some of what we ate usually.

    (I am in Melbourne)
