Hi guys. I am back online! Didn't do any jogging yet - just some on the spot interval sprints. Going to jog today - so looking forward to it! My goal is to do 30mins. I won't be able to jog the whole time but I really want to do 30 mins of exercise each day so figure even if I walk some (most) of it I will be happy. Hope you are all doing well!

I'm in. I started around new years but my knee and back have been playing up last week, so I am re-starting and doing it in twice the time, so week 1 I will do twice ect. Just so my body doesn't freak out at running, plus I am doing uphill for the first half and then downhill for when I am getting tired

That sounds good ali - I know that my knees play up a bit on concrete, how about running on an oval on grass? A bit tougher but must kinder on the knees. I did week 2 day 2 on the treadmill yesterda, I am repeating some days because I am finding it hard to keep up teh 3 days a week (well did before I got my treadmill) but I am doing my Jillian Michaels dvd on days I don't run!

How is everyone else going - oh I got my arm band, I think it's made for an elephants arm FFS, need to do some sewing!!!

Hi ladies! Can I join you in here? I have been doing C25K for a few months now (though I am still only on week 5, LOL!). I am really enjoying how fit I feel already! I have never been a runner and admittedly I jog very slowly, but my being able to jog for 20 minutes straight has always been laughable and now I am doing it!
I have heard that around the week 5 mark you can lose the plot a bit (and I have been here for several weeks now) so I would love to read your posts and share a bit with you for some more motivation.
Am going to go back and read the last 3 pages now

ETA: Tan I have the opposite problem with my arm band - I've got the apple brand cause I was too lazy to shop around and either I have elephant arms or they are made a bit smaller!

Far out, you sound super-fit to me! Even more doable then.
I am struggling to move on to longer runs. This morning I was really digging deep to get through 20 minutes. *Sigh*
Does anyone use the Robert Ullrey podcasts? I am having trouble downloading week 6 - I can't find it in the right format?
What are the podcasts you guys are using?

I'm actually using the C25K app for the iphone / ipod touch. You can add your own music and there is an upgrade that GPS tracks your run if you do it outside. It is fantastic!!!

    How is everyone travelling?
I am up to day 2 of week 6, and will do day 3 on Wednesday. I was sooooooo sluggish this morning, LOL! Was so tired. But got through it thankfully.
I have used the ipod app for the last 2 runs but my music isn't fast enough, LOL! I seriously don't have anything that's got a good running beat. I am such a ballad-lover, LOL!

Im baaacck. Have been on a self imposed ban! How is everyone going? I got up to week 3day3 a few weeks ago - other than one 3 minute walk I felt so good I ran through all my walks - including up some killer hills so had been making good progress...and then literally THAT night I stubbed my toe on the bed and broke it. So upset, I was finally feeling good, lost weight and had passed the I think I am going to spew stage.

Since then I have been doing my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred dvd most days as well as now joining Contours now I can put my shoe on again! I don't think I will be running for a few weeks and I miss it heaps.

    Hope you are all well!

Just seeing if anyone is still going!! I have just started up again and am doing week 3 - finding it tough though so will have to keep redoing it as I had to walk one 3 mins section!
