This morning I weighed in at 69.8kg... I have a 6 in front of my weight again!!! That is a 600g loss and 5.6kg overall.
I am pleased with that as I thought I had a bad week food wise. I stupidly decided to have a couple of rest days after all my hard work. It seems that if I don't exercise early in the day then my appetite control goes out the window. On Tuesday I had a couple of handfuls of tiny teddy biscuits at morning tea, and ate 3/4 of a block of chocolate after doing the groceries. No willpower at all.

Krysalyss, good to see you back n the wagon. You probably feel like you have ballooned much more than you have in reality. Eating well and exercising for the next week and a half will make you feel better about the way you look even if it doesn't change it much. I know I felt fat all day Tuesday, then exercised early on Wednesday and felt good abut how I looked again. Find a flattering dress and be confident.

Anyway, well done to others with losses. Looking forward to hearing how the rest of yu are doing. It has been quiet in here lately.

    Go Berrme! You star!
I was away last week so no weigh-in or check-in. Weighed this morning and I'm down 800g in the last fortnight. Not quite what I hoped for but good considering I haven't done anything to warrant it. That makes my current weight 64kg and my loss so far 3kg. My goal eight was originally 60kg but I'm feeling so good and getting so many complements that I might adjust that up to 62kg. My pre preg weight was 60kg but my body is different now and in many ways I prefer it - it's more womanly somehow. Looking forward to seeing a 3 after that 6 next week

Hi guys. Was good and went for a jog today. I was planning on 3 mins jog, 3 mins walk but for most of it did 4 mins jog and 2 mins walk so was pretty happy with that. Had to slow down at the end though as Zeuss my dog was with me and he is getting a bit old. We have friends around for lunch today so that will be a challenge but will try to count my cals before they come so I know how much I can have of the naughty stuff.

Hi everyone, can i come and join? I turned a new corner today and set myself a new goal. Since going back to work i have been pretty slack, my only excercise has been swimming once a week and my little ticker has been stationary. Tonight, i did week 1 day one of C25k, i have never gotten passed week 4 but if it gives me a kick start then i am all for it! Krysalyss, i am so jealous that you are at 4 min jogs, i am right back down to 60 secs and each one nearly killed me! When i was on mat leave i was able to go to the gym each day for 90 mins, i had a ball and achieved some really great things, but i am finding that impossible to balance with work now. No solid plan about how i am going to attack this yet, but i am going to weigh in with you all each thursday and see how i go. I think my biggest goal is to be fit enough to feel confident about giving a surfing lesson ago over summer (something i have always wanted to try, but worried that i wouldn't be able to last the distance). Whats on the menu for tomorrow everyone?

Hi guys. just a quick check in. Going OK. 9:30pm and am about to jump on the exercise bike. Just haven't had time before but of course I really don't feel like it now. Can't weigh in as I don't have my usual scales but think my shorts feel a little looser. Here's hoping! Hope everyone's weekend has been good.
Apple - Yeah it sucks how quickly your fitness goes, but you will pick it up again soon enough. I joined the gym at work so fit it in before I start now. It seems to work for me.

Kryss, how did your bike ride go?? My work doesn't have a gym, but they do do yoga twice a week so I might sign up for that! I live an hour from work so fitting regularly fitting in a before or after work session can be really hard. I often end up arriving home at bedtime as it is and rush out if the house while they are still asleep

It's lunchtime for me, my biggest point of pain! I am so tempted by all the nice food in the city. I am off to get a yummy salad though, keeping it honest by putting it down in writing

Hope everyone else is having a great day!

I weighed in this morning and took my measurements, can't wait till Thursday to check in and see some progress!

Need to get a few things out, a bit of positive and a bit of negative.
I went shopping yesterday just for a few plain tops to go with my colourful skirts. Bought about 5 tops and a pair of 3/4 length jeans, all size 12! Thats good for me cause I've always been a mix of 12 - 14, mostly 14 since DS so I'm happy with that. Especially with the jeans. I tried on a couple of dresses too that I felt great in, but passed them up at the moment cause they are just not practical for breastfeeding.
Still not been the best with food and exercise, but could be worse. We're getting some family photo's done in a month or so, so trying to use that as inspiration to stay on track.
The down side, there is nothing like going to visit a super skinny friend to knock all the positive body image energy out of you I know I shouldn't be comparing myself to other people, and she is one of those people who is just naturally tiny so I can't compete with that. It's just the last few weeks I have been feeling quite slim (for me) being with her yesterday I just felt massive!! Oh well.

Ausgirl, I hope you are feeling better. Whatever you had sounds terrible

Hi appletree Way to go starting c25k! Its awesome once you get into it.

Krysalyss, glad to see you getting back on track

I hope everyone had a great weekend

Ooh, Ausgirl, what you had sounds nasty!!! Glad you are keeping it all in now though

Woohoo Munchkin Mumma at your awesome size 12 clothes, that is really fantastic that you are starting to reap the rewards of all your hard work!! Boo to your skinny friend, i know how you feel though! If you want, i will come and keep you company so you feel thin again in comparison! The way i see it, there are always going to be people who are taller, thinner, have nicer legs, better boobs what have you, but there is no-one else out there who is uniquely you, and as a package you are 99% likely to offer more than they could ever dream of!

Ok, i am off to watch some catch up tv! I am desperate to watch The Slap, i didn't realise the series had finally started and its already half way through, hopefully it is as brilliant as the book! No exercise for me today, but i will be up at 5:40am tomorrow for swimming.

Hi! The cycle went well. I actually read while doing it but still went pretty hard so I was happy. Got up this morning and jogged/walked for 30 mins. Felt good and went up to 5 min jog / 2 min walk. Hopefully will get a chance to go tomorrow. Tried on some size 14 dresses today and they were too big so I got them in 12! Was so happy as I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything that was over size 14 as I am so sick of clothes becoming saggy when I have worn them in and they stretch. My favourite jeans are like that. They feel great in the shop but wear them for half an hour and they are a size bigger. And wearing clothes that are too big really make me look chunky. So anyway it was a good day for me.

Apple - I know what you mean about fitting it all in. DS goes to kindy at my work too so I am lucky that I can squeeze i half an hour at the gym between him going and me starting work. Yoga is great though! I want to go but can't afford it (money or time) at the moment. Maybe later

Munchkin - Oh I feel your pain. Pretty much everyone at my work is a skinny minnie and pretty. Gets me down sometimes too. Hope you feel better soon.

Ausgirl - Glad you are feeling better!

Weighed in at 69kg this morning. So another 800g loss and up to 6.4kg so far for this challenge.
I need to go hard for the next few weeks to get into the dress I want to wear to a wedding at the end of the month. I went a bit nuts and bought 6 dresses off ebay. The gold silk one 'fits', but my boobs bulge over the top in a very unattractive fashion. So I have put that one aside for after I have finished breastfeeding. Another couple fit nicely, and I will wear them to the other functions I have over the next month or so, unless I like one of the other 2 that will arrive this week better. But I currently can't do the zip all the way up on the the elegant one that I really want to wear to the wedding. And it is the wedding of one of DH's oldest family friends, who are quite competitive, and DH is the MC, so I have to look amazing! So for the next 3 weeks I need to exercise everyday and show some serious willpower with my food!

Manhattan, how did you go this week? That holiday is really close now!

MM and Krysalyss, yay for buying size 12 clothes. It is a very nice feeling when you can go down a size when you are shopping! And Krysalyss, I feel your pain with clothes stretching and then making you feel large and frumpy. I have taken to buying things like jeans and linen pant in a size that is VERY fitted when I put them on and then doing some squats etc to strech them so they are a good size when they are stretched.

Wrena, 800g is great when you are getting close to your goal weight. I really want to get down to about 60kg, but I know that it will be slow going once I get to about 65kg. It is nice that you like your post baby shape too, such a good attitude.

Ausgirl, glad you are better. I was just laughing with my mum the other day at how I never get sick enough to go off my food. I am pretty sure I have never lost weight while I was sick. I remember as a young teenager being a bit jealous of the girls who were away from school for a couple of days with some bug and would come back a dress size smaller. Seems really stupid now!!

Hope you are all still hanging in there, looking forward to hearing how everyone else is going.

I have to get back on the band wagon, we've had a busy few weeks and with little to no walking i've put the weight back on, plus some
I know i can do it and this is just a small hurdle, gotta get back into my happy, healthy walking and eating self, shopping tomorrow and it's all fruit & veg

My knee is playing up again though so not using the bike or walking til it feels better so it's all down to eating and chasing the girls, does anyone have some low impact easy workouts that wouldn't hurt my knee?
