Good Luck, Sopdet! Let me know how you go... thinking about joining myself next time!

Jayne, don't be too hard on yourself. You're doing a fab job! Just remember you're moving in the right direction!

AFM, I mostly stuck to my exercise and eating plan so far. However I didn't manage to squeeze in my yoga yesterday or today. At first I couldn't get motivated and then I ran out of time and had to go to work. Bit disappointing. Oh well, I guess I just have to learn to manage my time more effectively...

    How' everyone else doing?

    How is everyone else going?

Hi guys. I have been MIA as the internet went down for mac users this week and then I have been flat out with work. Haven't been so good this week. Even my exercise went out the window. But tomorrow is soccer training so I am hoping it will kick start me again. Came to work today with out my laptop cord so I better run to save the battery. Hope you are are cruising through.

    Happy birthday again ZF!

    I FORGOT to weigh in!!!!!!

But in saying that, I'm not expecting any changes. I did one walk last week, admittedly the big one, and a bike ride yesterday morning and I haven't been too bad with food, other than a naughty day with ZF and Emma, but hey, I didn't really care. I'm so tired atm, body clock is so warped, feeling a bit off too. AF is here too. Just finding it hard to find the motivation right now. But I'm still thinking about it continually, thinking about what's going into my mouth and still eating healthy.

Happy Birthday ZF!!!! I hope you have a really beautiful birthday & that it's as special as you are!! Oh & you deserve that cake girl!!! Today is your birthday & there are no limits!!! Tomorrow, well that's another story!!!

PAKRAKMG _ This is how I was feeling 2 weeks ago. I really hope it passes quickly & that you have your mojo back in full swing soon. It's great that you're still eating healthily - it won't make is nearly as hard when you get back into things. You sound like you need a good long shower & a great nights rest!!!

RAUPE _ I felt a bit anxious as it got to Sunday night & I had done no intentional exercise for the whole weekend. So I did jump on my cross-trainer last night & I feel somewhat redeemed. I didn't go ballistic eating either. The worst I did was I ate a small-ish banana pancake for breakfast on Saturday morning. We ate at Chinese Saturday & Sunday night & there is no bad food there & no desserts & I didn't eat until I was overflowing either. Can you squeeze in that yogo today at all?

SOPDET _ The wedding sounded like fuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn!!!! Glad you got a weekend away!

Well, I think I have explained all my weekend to Raupe! Lol. I did 6km on the trainer last night & then 5km this morning. Plus I did Zumba on Friday & this might sound really strange, but I didn't feel like the elephant in the room. I was so much lighter on my feet, could coordinate the movements a heck of a lot easier & I also didn't turn beet-red by the end of the class. Also, I avoid looking at myself dance in the mirror at all costs, but the few times that I did glance at myself, I wasn't totally disgusting with what was staring back at me. I felt like I conquered something with that. I have massive body image issues & that was a big hurdle for me to cross. KWIM?

    Mwah! xxx

Jayne, yes, I did manage to squeeze in my yoga today!! I also walked 5k and did 30min of Zumba! :P I think I'm doing well today.
I met up with MIL earlier, and she kept offering me cake . It was soo hard to stay strong, but I had some yoghurt instead. I'm kinda proud of myself right now. In saying that, my b-day is coming up and believe me when I say that it'll be my 'splurge day'! You're allowed to be naughty on your birthday.... someone please agree with me

RAUPE _ COMPLETELY & utterly agree that Birthdays are Splurge Day! It's the one day where we should be able to relax the diet & really enjoy ourselves. I will be doing it on my birthday (mind you that's not til September) too & especially cos it will be my 30th.

WTG on saying no to the cake, I'm really proud of you too & you should feel liberated that you could make the better food choice. Oh & awesome job on the exercise front as well! That's a really fantastic effort. You should be really proud - today you worked hard!

    xx

    Howdy.
I've been flat out and neglecting this thread ( and the topic, truth be told) but I've been at about the same weight all year, not going up or down much.
Will need to refocus and remember to weigh in.
Sopdet I might get you to remind me.

Jayne - Thanks. A good night's rest would be pretty amazing. Last time DD slept through was November DH just doesn't hear her, and if I wake him up, well he doesn't have the patience I do and it usually results in me getting up anyway. We're co-sleeping at the moment when she wakes up, but it's not ideal for us.

ZF - Have you given the zumba dvds a go? Hope you had a nice night in Bendigo.

Raupe - If you can't be naughty on your birthday, what's the point? Don't think of it as being naughty. You're giving yourself a delicious present that you deserve

Krys - Hope soccer training went well.

Sopdet - How's the training going?

Pandora - I'm not moving much weight wise either. But I'm not pushing myself as hard as I should be. I think you've got the key in refocusing, just let me know how you did it!!!

Hi to everyone else, hope you're all going well.

Ok ladies! Time to get serious about these next 5kgs...

I'm so serious I am going to do something that I really REALLY don't want to do! So here they are: my actual numbers...

    92.65kgs
    109cm hips
    94cm waist
    112cm bust
    62cm thighs

In 6 weeks time I will be:

    87.65kgs
    104cm hips
    89cm waist
    107cm bust
    59cm thighs

I am aiming for 1000 cals burnt 5 days per week and to stay between 1200 and 1500 cals per day

Hi everyone! Well soccer training was cancelled again due to the rain - argh!!! Hopefully it will be on tonight but I am going to the gym anyway just to make sure I do something. Went for a jog yesterday and ran a pitiful time - 3 kms in 23.27. At least it gives me something to aim for I guess! My goal is 5 kms in 25 mins. I am going to work on the distance first and then on the time. Sorry can't stop for long. Hope you are all great.

ZF & APPLETREE _ I am totally loving your renewed focus & energy that is being put into pushing yourselves further. It's really great! I'll be here to cheer you on & kick your butts!!! hehehehe. AppleTree - I think it's great that you are focussing on 5kg at a time, I did this myself & I found it so much more achievable. It's not such a big number ahead. KWIM? ZF the Zumba DVD's sound like a great idea - let me know what you think of them as I'm thinking of getting some myself.

KRYSALYSS _ At least you did the distance darl! I wouldn't be able to jog that far. Especially in the cold. lol. I just took it really easy on my cross-trainer & did 6km in 59 mins - so you are rocking it much better than I!

I am so excited, my very bestie gf & I have both been on this journey together. Looks liek when I land in Perth we will both be our goal weights - well that's the plan anyway. She doesn't have much time to do anything on her own as her DP is a bit of a brat & she has 2 little ones like me. Anyway, I have got us tickets to Cirque Du Soleil to have a special night out together. I'm so excited as I LOVE this show & really thought I would miss it in perth this year. I got us those good tickets where you get the wine, program, pre show nibblies & good seats so I really hope we have a fab night. It will be like a really beautiful reward for the both of us for working so hard. You know? She is only 1.3kg away from her goal, I have a LOT more work to do, so I'm really hoping I get there too.

I'm loving all the focus and determination here at the moment.
Jayne & Krysalyss on your efforts. It's motivating me to work a bit harder.

I increased my weights at my pump class today and I really felt it - walking downstairs afterwards was a bit scary.

DH has banned me from weighing for a fortnight. I think I might do some measurements and try to focus less on weight.
