I think once I get into the swing of things it MIGHT be alright, but I have the worst headache tonight.

I had a choc mint shake for brekky, some grapes for morning tea, asian curry soup and a TF munch bar for lunch, some more grapes and a couple of rice crackers and low fat dip for afternoon tea and 2 lamb cutlets with notatoes for dinner. Panadol is helping my headache a little, but I'm off to bed soon to sleep the rest of it off.

So overall I think I did pretty well, how are you going?

did you like the choc mint? i don't think i got that one!

So far i have had cafe latte (yuck) and strawberries and cream (not bad). i think the fibre that i add to it is making it grainy.

Yesterday i had the shake for breaky, the munch bar and a salad for lunch, an egg for arvo tea and for dinner i had savoury mince on 1 piece of toast and a cuppa tea after dinner (eek i have been bad and have replaced my morning coffee with a cup of tea once the girls are in bed of a night time)

I wanted to hold of weighing myself for the whole week but weighed my self this morning and im disappointed to say the least, only 800grams lost so far maybe this isn't going to work for me.

    Are you doing any exercise?

How is your headache this morning? mine is gone. I am going to try and drink alot more water today

do you think it matters if we don't have a shake and a munch bar every day?

for example today i have had... breakfast 1/2 munch bar (find them very full filling) a handful of grapes for morning tea, lunch has been 1 tuna and avocado sushi roll, and dinner is going to be chicken and salad

how did the soup taste? did you have any bread with it?

Are there any non-sweet shakes? I only want to lose 3kg or so but know that in the coming months as we get used to getting out the door for an 8.30 kindy start I'm in danger of skipping brekkie so am thinking of perhaps having a shake but I'm not a sweet tooth at all.

I can't skip brekkie as I just end up going out somewhere which is way more calories (and money).

Hope your foot is better soon!
I've been having a horrible few days food wise as well so not looking forward to weigh in next week, BUT I have given myself a long term goal for weight loss rather than a short term one and I know there will be ups and downs along the way.

PP - my neighbour is a physio so he had a look at my foot and i have sprained some tendon or ligaments! so it is all wrapped and im not to go on the bike for a few days and no running for few weeks, suppose to stay off it as much as possible but we all know how hard that is with kids!

anyways jumped on the scales this morning and i have lost a total of 3.3kgs in 3 weeks only lost 500grams this week but totally happy with it.

Giving yourself a long term goal is a great idea! apparently your more likely to keep it off that way good luck tomorrow

Well done on the loss! That's great. I'm not game enough to weigh myself after the last few days that i've had, I need to make up for it big time...lol
