C~Q - I don't have a choice where I live... we have two gyms and neither have a creche. I don't have anyone to watch them for the few times a week either I do have a vibration machine (well I will have one, it's in the new house already, just waiting on the power to be sorted) I'll be doing 20-30mins a day on that, but it's not really what would call exercise, but it is something at least.
Enchanted - I can't do WW as the meetings are at inconvenient times and there's no other support here (I have seen you can do it online, but again no real support)
Daytona's Mummy - great idea! But again with the excuses... our shopping centre only has a couple of small shops and the supermarket. However I do park away from the entrance and I walk to the PO, butchers and bakery (which are all on the main street) so I do get some walking in during the week.
UsPlus2 - thanks for that, makes sense
dragoncookie - thanks so much xx I do have his support thankfully, I hope that we can start doing some things together when he is home (go for walks etc).
sunny09 - Great ideas, thank you!!
I generally drink only water, with a small glass of juice to take some supplements (I've seen a naturopath for sleep problems) because it's the only way I can take them lol. I also cut up celery and carrot sticks for during the day. I've reduced my wheat intake along with dairy and pasta and rice. Most of our meals at night are meat with salad or veg (steamed). I know I'm doing the right things and I do feel better for it... I just can't see any results
I'm seriously considering Tony Ferguson (because I can do that locally) just to kick start the weight loss. I'm close to giving up on everything because I'm not seeing results
Exercise, well yeah it's minimal atm, but we are moving house soon so I'll be able to do a bit more as we'll be on the farm then. I've got a wii-fit, but the problem with that is that I can't do it with the kids around, well I can but it's not a serious exercise then because they want to stand on it and play it. I know I know I'm making excuses.... but I'd rather not deal with extras tantrums and meltdowns. My closest friend is 30kms away, we get together once a week or so, so we could do something together. Especially after we move because we'll have the space then.
