I have the Husband 0.1 Model. I love it, most of the time. Does a good job but leaves the sink full of scraps and doesn't really do that nice finish off clean, you know? Like wiping the benches down etc. However the dishes are always clean and put away so I spose I can't really complain. It's quite an expensive unit, but it makes a wage so I guess it really pays for itself in the big scheme of things. It can take quite awhile to initially set up, and needs extra fine tuning and constant reminding (read: begging...)
It's not quiet, particularly when sleeping, it makes this grinding clunk noise, occasionally some sucking sounds. When intoxicate it runs like a bag of ****e, in which case you would probably want to keep it as far away from the kitchen as possible... Overall tho, it does what I need it to do, and gets the job done.


But seriously...

We have a dishlex. i bought it as I had a friend who used to own a white goods repair shop and she highly recommended that brand to us. it is just a basic model. It can be loud but it mostly depends how you stack it... if you stack it so they propeller things are hitting something then you're asking for trouble, otherwise it's OK. You can still hear it but only if you listen, kwim? I think it was around $500-$600.
Mum has a miele and it's super quiet, can barely hear it going.
