Actually Jo were on the NSW DOCS website there is no mention of age other than the parent must be 21 years old.

To adopt a child in NSW you must be at least 21 years of age, resident in NSW and meet DoCS eligibility criteria for adoption applicants.
I am happy to be corrected if you can provide with the documentation from DOCS.



Shades and dachlostar I've got to agree with you, it sounds to me like Jo and her DH are not open to the concept of a child from a non-anglo saxon culture.
Oh well leaves children from transraical backgrounds to be adopted by families that are loving and open to them.
