Not to mention how bad for sun safety those tiny little bikinis are... in this day and age with all the warnings about the dangers of skin cancer, these sorts of swim suits for children are innappropriate from a health standpoint as well. My DDs have been given little bikinis, but they have never worn them to the beach or the pool - I prefer rash shirts and bikini bottoms, or rash shirts over a one piece because they provide a lot more coverage from the sun.
