I can honestly say that I have none, I firmly believe that all the experiences you have in life (good and bad) shape the person you are through your life (not become as I don't think you ever stop evolving....)

I am certain there might be things in hindsight I could and should have done better, but at the time I was influenced by whatever was going on at the time. When I've been a wally I've apologised and learnt from it so it's all part of the journey through life I think

Admittedly there was a bad upstyle hair-do I had done when I was attending a Wedding at the tender age of 13, looking back at the photos - it certainly falls into the regrettable category

I firmly regret not paying more attention to myself and my mental state a year ago. I'm not sure what exactly I would've done differently, but I'm pretty sure anything would've had a better outcome that our current situation.

I regret not standing up to Professor while we were courting, and not understanding Aspergers and realising where he was coming from. It set the tone for our whole marriage and things happened that I feel guilty about to this day, even 6 years later. I wish I had trusted him more.

Most of all, I regret not being nice to myself, or confident in myself. I've accomplished some things that are amazing to me, even while hating myself. Imagine what I could've done if I'd had the confidence?

There is something I really regret that happened back in 2005. In the scheme of things it was not bad, but to this day I still have not forgiven myself

I agree! And I think it's unhealthy to dwell on regrets anyway!!! We must always keep looking forward.....

I agree with this. I don't dwell on regrets. I used to be like that in my teens and it's exhausting and depressing! But if a memory comes up then sure, there are things I regret.

I see regret as simply not forgetting everything that happened in the past and I think this is healthy because not building upon your past is not learning.

I think that to have no regrets is to have no conscience. We all hurt people sometimes and only sociopaths don't feel bad about it. There' no point in dwelling on them but by the same token there is no wisdom to be gained by ignoring them.

    I agree.

For the most part i am very happy with how my life has turned out. There are some friendships i wish i never had but without them i wouldn't be who i am now and i wouldn't know what i do now.

But if i died tomorrow my biggest regret would be that i never tracked my father down and told him how much i hate him and wished he wasn't my father.
